We’ve been traveling from Colorado Springs to Wolf Creek to ski for over 25 years now. There are a ton of closer resorts, but I just love the powder there. Next time, definitely check out the other half of the mountain. That’s the best part!! Our next trip there is in March. 😊❤
It's been a few years since I skied Wolf Creek but it really is the best. Have you gone back since? They've been getting dumped on and there are great tree runs with deep pow to be explored. Plus, the moguls get so huge on Alberta Face under the lift that you just have to give it a go. I've experienced chest-deep powder in the bowls and miss it. Maybe next year for me...
I sadly haven’t yet but am hoping to go back in a few weeks!! It isn’t on my Loveland pass so I’m going to be exploring all the other mountains on there before paying again. Going to Monarch and purgatory next!!
@@TheTravelingTacos I learned how to ski at Monarch back in the 80's, then found the Wolf in the nineties and never looked back. I'm in central Kansas so if I'm driving anywhere to ski (10 hours) it's going to be Wolf Creek! Our trips were always mid to late February and the snow never disappointed.😁
If you really like wolf creek, it’s vibe, atmosphere and lack of crowds, you’ll take this video down and tell people that it’s flat, far away, and the visibility sucks during storms. Wolf creek sucks. Tell your friends. ;) I hear Breck is super cool
I agree, but there have been sooo many vids made with people saying it's the best kept secret and it just stays that way. I think it's because more people enjoy "ski resort atmosphere" than skiing and that's all there is to do there...just the way I like it!
So happy that you went! Best snooowwwwww everrrrrrr
Yasssss!!!!
It was a pleasure to watch, the relaxed thrill of skiing in near white-out conditions is my favorite type of skiing, thanks much!
Thank you for watching! I’m so glad you enjoyed it :)
My favorite place to ski is Wolf Creek! Always there the last 2 weeks of February.

Have so much fun on your trip! I can’t wait to go back and explore some more❤️
That was sick! There was one point where it literally looked like you were just out in the woods with no trail in sight
Thank you!! It was such a fun place to explore :)

@@imabeliever244 I love to hear this! I had a great time there even in early December. It’s an amazing mountain❤️

@@imabeliever244 That could be true.
...if you like low grade trees, sure, but the runs are short and the lifts are slow.
