- What will we catch in our first haul of the Fishlocker Lobster pots? We love working a small number of lobster pots from our small family boat. Such a wonderful and rewarding experience that often brings delicious rewards. Hauling our lobster traps by hand makes it all the more rewarding when you catch something to eat. Join me to check our pots and talk you through the things we catch. Teaching about the marine world and how to care for it - Including conservation regulations that are in place in Cornwall UK. Recently a thief has been operating in our local area and several fishermen pots have been going missing. We searched for them but they were nowhere to be seen.

You should buy and gin wheel mate to pull the pots will give you a 2.1 advantage in weight.
James is like a half-size copy of you! He stands like you, moves like you, and, more and more, fishes/lobsters like you! He knows the answers to all of your fishing-related questions, too! You have the best first mate ever!

Your son is growing into quite the proper fisherman..! its so nice to see the next generation learning from the father.. knowledge passed on first hand is always best.. & you don't jam your vids with a total kid-fest which is, excuse me, just not interesting to fans in general ..So wish some of your contemporaries would "get that"..? I'm a Dad of 4. I Love seeing James & maybe ask him more of his opinions & insights as a young fisherman..? Would love to hear his observations..! God bless.

I’ve been watching you for quite awhile now. It’s wonderful to see James finally want to get more into the seafood. When I first started watching he wouldn’t even eat it!!!
One of these days, you should take a trip over the pond to the coast of Maine. I think that it would be great to have you go out with one of our Maine lobstermen to compare methods and whatnot. Also, the fishing off the coast is pretty darned amazing!

Hello, longtime fan since I found you off a Greg ovens coastal forage video back in 2019 or so I think. The white and blue fish locker hoodies you were wearing? Are they for sale anywhere? Thanks for taking the time. It’s just, I’m medically disabled since 2017 and your videos are so uplifting that once I was able too, I moved to a beach community. Not saying the fish locker was the reason why, but you have a partial take on it. As I just want to be on the shore coastal foraging, wishing I could be out on the boat LOL. Good o. Very important for kids to know where their food comes from. It doesn't magically appear on a supermarket shelf. I bet James will be helping you pull those pots out in no time at all.

I'm just watching you pulling the lobster pots up, and would like to ask you this question on James's measurement guide, are those measurements just for your area in the south west, or are the size limits different throughout the UK. What did you do about the sand fleas? Are they parasites? Is the lobster safe to eat? I live in the middle of the US, so I have no experience with catching lobsters -just eating them. lol!
