"Hit those people!"
"Cut him off!"
Dan is just the representation of every driver's intrusive thoughts and I am here for it!
My dad was a New Jersey trucker. That man had no patience for other drivers and a mouth that would leave a sailor speechless.
His New Jersey is showing
"Do it"
my entire family was in the car and all of us collectively made a joke about hitting a woman walking her dog but "don't hit the dog!" XD
"Where do you want it?"
30 minutes of crunching metal.
"He's barricaded the gate."
i think this is the best comment on the site
I swear Arin must be some kind of secret comedy genius. How he managed to perfectly wedge his trailer between the two fence posts. Good God I couldn't breathe from how hard I was laughing.
It gave me the hiccups myself.
Like I'm tearing up laughing!!
And the fact that it happened to be the exact width necessary for that to even be possible. conspiracy: the gamemakers planned it
Every time someone complains about him not doing tutorials I want to point to this clip. It just shows how much funnier it can be when they have no idea what they’re doing.
I laughed even harder when he hit the ambulance right after.
Arin shouting "can we fcking go" after rear ending a firetruck so it won't move had me CRYING
Arin: *Skips control wizard*
Also Arin: "Literally none of the buttons work"
Knew that was coming and within 5 minutes of the episode starting too. Maybe he thought it was a tutorial...
"It is I! The Control Wizard! You shall have no control lest you answer me these questions three!"
I immediately sighed as he sang "I'm gonna skip that fuggin shid"
@@JustBackgroundNoise What...Is your name?

26:34 "No wonder I destroyed $15k worth of equipment at Disney" He's just gonna leave us hanging on that story?
How dare he
I think his dad was the one who caused the damage
Maybe it was the story where he got his leg/arm caught in the bars?
@@bunnybitchh Oh, I don't know that story. Do you remember where he talked about it?
@@pedrostormrage it was during the power hour collab with Jack, when they play the game with the weird thumbs. he doesn't really get into it, just makes a bit about how Dan got his thumb stuck in the toy like how he got his knee stuck between the grates as a kid. as far as I know that's the only time he's brought it up, but he might've somewhere else.
"is this legal?" "who cares?!" is how I imagine a lot of conversations at Grumps HQ go
The HR office is just another bathroom
A lot? Not all of them?
"Oh no we don't have an HR manager, I can't do aaaanything"
@@mediocreandworse59 What HR?
Just
I haven’t laughed this hard in a while. Arin being like “I’m gonna do the sensible thing and go around the block” at 23:15 and then IMMEDIATELY cutting across traffic and getting rammed by another truck has got to be the funniest thing ever
This is how I like to imagine that all Game Grumps merch is delivered.
Haha it's just like, a water bottle and a pin set 😂

"Did you just crash into my wall and cut off my power?" ~ Jontron
I'm a OTR trucker, and this series is simultaneously warming my heart and giving me nightmares
As someone who's terrified of large trucks I feel similarly LMAO
The second I saw this video posted all I could think was this is a swift training video
As a (former OTR) truck driver, this video offends every fiber of my being. I require more.
I'm currently sitting in a truck stop cringing at EVERYTHING Arin does. It's not even a 48 footer and he's having this much trouble!
I bet your soul evacuated your body when he perfectly jammed his trailer into the entrance SIDEWAYS
Whenever Arin is on the streets, everyone stays in their sheets.
Over their heads, cause they’re dead
Arin sheets while in the streets
When penis unlimited comes to town, you better get down.
Honestly I'm still just blown away hes so clueless about CA, not knowing Solvang or the other local spots in the Google maps game is one thing..
But Oxnard..3 hours away..???? It's LITERALLY 30 minutes north of LA hahaha..it's in Ventura county. I'm from Santa Barbara, 45 minutes north of Oxnard/Ventura and it's still only an hour & 15 min to get to them in LA.
Jontron was the same too! Hahaha 🤣
In his California games episode, he was so confused about the snow..even though Tahoe/Big Bear/Mammoth are huge ski resorts with a crap ton of snow
You pay attention to the beats it's not arin if we don't see feets
Arin: “check it out I’m backing up like a prince”
Jackknifes, hits a car, jackknifes, jackknifes, jackknifes, struggles to back in the dock, jackknifes and wedges himself in the gate.
Meanwhile I’m screaming in my head 🤣 he did so well in euro simulator to
Arin certainly is driving like he's in Southern California
Nah he'd be crashing a lot more and blaming it on the other drivers
100000% agree, I hated driving in Huntington Beach 😭
"How do I turn on my blinker?"
TBF soooo many tourists have "California" plates due to car rentals I don't blame most traffic on locals.
As somebody who's driven in Southern California for the last eighteen years straight without any accidents, I have to disagree.
"I just needed a little sippie" had me rolling lmao
19:17 is prime material for a Grumps animated. I've watched every episode of SuperMega Truck Sim, but I don't think even /they/ managed to jackknife a truck in the entrance of their destination.
Not yet
i was fucking dying i had tears and then Dans little oops i had to pause the video
@@joeg2759 i was the same way with the ambulance when dan said "good thing they are already on their way to the hospital" i played it back so many times lol
In the tutorial mission as well
YES! Somebody make it happen! NOW! 🤣
The speed at which Arin goes from “but I wanna be legal!” to smashing directly into vehicles is alarming at best
Omfg this is infinitely better.
Actual American Truck Driver here, I appreciate the hell out of watching you play this.
So, this is more of an instructional training video, right?
@@ibbyplayz9076 In the same way that _Staplerfahrer Klaus_ is an instructional training video for being a forklift driver, yes.
I know it's so funny cuz he does everything we think and want to do
@@ibbyplayz9076 as another truck driver myself probably for Swift Transport cause Arin got himself stuck in the entrance and got himself out of it
Same here. This was equal parts frustrating and hilarious.
I got to halfway in the video and thought "oh cool theyre gonna do 2 drives this time" but then realized arin still needs to park.
I thought the same thing 😂
Arin: Look at me. I'm backing up like a champ!
*Immediately Jackknifes*
I haven't laughed this hard in SO long, I'm legit crying. The part where he was going to go around the block, cut off the ambulance, hit every car on the other side of the road and smashed into the dividers in front of the Family Market fucking annihilated me
"God, this is like that scene in Austin Powers!"
The whole episode.
Watching Arin try to get back in with the trailer sideways was like watching a dog try to get through a door with a huge stick. 10/10
Not gonna lie, Arin's gameplay makes Matt and Ryan look like geniuses
That's the sickest burn omfg
Ohhhhh noooooooo
Me reading this comment around the start of the video: "Oh they can't be THAT bad, right?"
Me after 20 minutes: "Oh my god..."
I've said it many times, but dat boy dumb lol
Idk man, Matt and Ryan flipped that truck at least three times
Edit: omg nevermind I take it back
I can't help but laugh my ass off every time Dan says "honk em"
18:10
Arin: "It's the opposite of what you think it is."
Dan: "Good because I think it's a disaster right now."
That had me CACKLING 🤣
Dan is a comedy genius and I sincerely believe that.
Thanks for adding a time stamp.
23:30 arin: “is that a cemetery”. *proceeds to go full speed*
"It's about to be!"
All these simulators and ps2 shovelware has made these last few months of summer such a joy.
These truck simulators I really like. The lawnmower one was fun but I'd be too annoyed to actually play it.
Powerwash, though, woof. They both treat the camera so roughly. Watched Mark's video with MatPat and it was a joy to see them just smoothly powerwash things without flailing wildly.
@@mage1439 Hey same glad to know I wasn't the only one who was so strangely irritated with how roughly the camera moved
As an actual truck driver (no, I never imagined having this career, but here we are lol), this episode was hilarious 🤣 I could point out soooo many mistakes the guys made and things wrong with the actual game, but it was too funny for me to care about any of that. It was actually kind of cathartic watching them saying "whatever" to the laws because I could never lmao
Fun fact: Big rig trucks actually have two horns! They have a city horn, which sounds like a normal car, and a giant air horn! Motioning for me to honk the big horn makes my entire week lol
All I can see is Danny as Arin's little shoulder angel/devil telling him to just, "Hit those people..." absolutely killed me
Embodiment of intrusive thoughts
I like how Arin and Ryan both tried to go through the train tracks and both got equally upset when they couldn't 😭
I was married to a flat bed trucker. Lived on the truck with him. This brought me JOY. The 7000 point back up reminds me of sitting parked at truck stops watching the very obviously new drivers try and back into a spot while listening to other drivers talk shit about them on the radio. What a time to be alive.
The way Arin drives makes me think I should probably move out of California just to make sure our paths never cross on the open road
despite this game feeling like a game where you put it on and listen as they talk, surprisingly i think it's super fun to watch the video and see what madness arin is getting up to on these crazy streets of LA
I have never laughed so hard in my life when he's just perpendicular with his trailer oh my god
So my new kink is Dan saying "Oops" like a concerned but patient dad
26:33
"No wonder I destroyed 1500 dollars worth of equipment at Disney"
WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?! I would love to hear this story please!
Nah man he said $15,000 worth of equipment. Must’ve had something to do with a truck I imagine
I need to know too!
@@534seeds what do you mean? He clearly says "at Disney"
My guess is they recorded a 10MPH at Disneyland
Arin used to work at Disneyland Florida afaik, so he probably broke some stuff when he was working there
Next Episode: Arin retires and becomes a 55 year old truck driving lawn mower.
Who's likes to powerwash his truck often
Optimus Past His Prime! Roll Out, at a reasonable pace!
With a crippling prilosec addiction
I know what you mean, but I'd like to imagine that Arin becomes an actual lawn mower and Dan has to drive him to help pay for his lawnmower to human transition medical bills.
@@SuperTed. It'll bring you joy.
I was dying when he got stuck in the fence xD
"I'm just a little crooked!" backing out the driveway he came in.
"Look at this, perfect!" backing right in to the container next to his spot.
I've had drivers back into our docks in one shot with less space, lol. I'll give it to you though... we did have a driver take out a chunk of our wall with more space and then found out he rolled his truck when he got down to CA. So you could be doing worse :P
I was at work once and watched a guy run his entire trailer against a cliff. Given it was a narrow road and he'd gotten lost and wasn't supposed to be there, but I still remember thinking, "that guy has to finish this whole thing now knowing he's probably going to lose his job."
My dad started working for a trucking company. At first he was like, "You can always rely on truckers, their training means they're the safest drivers on the road!"
But after a couple months he was like, "Do *not* trust truckers to do anything safely, we don't know shit"
This series really demonstrates that point. :P
Considering my mom is lucky to be alive because she has had TWO vehicle accidents thanks to semi-trucks, they certainly do not know how to drive.
2 months ago or so we were going around a bend on a 3 lane road in town. It had just gotten dark when we were going on our single lane around a bend. Guess who thought it was a one way road? Thankfully we were able to slow down and they managed to "safely" if not dangerously merge back into their lanes.
Oof.
Every year theres a person who becomes of age to have a truckers license and some only have driven their parents car. LOL
@@evd549 some states are wanting to have 14 year Olds start driving Semi-trucks.
If there’s anything I’ve learned after having multiple family members who are truck drivers, it’s that they may not be the best drivers- but they sure as hell could tell you the best routes for road-trips.
I was a real-life truck driver for years and this video had me dying from laughter. Please, for the love of God, do more!
Fun fact: If you have a trailer, hold your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel. Whichever way your hand is going, that’s the way your trailer will go! :D
I am actually in tears at Arin trying to get through the gate he’s thoroughly lodged himself into.
I can’t express how much I love these truck simulator videos
Same. And you can tell how much he enjoys the chaos his antics cause as well.
Dan watching this in horror as he gets Vietnam-esque flashbacks to when he speared his moving truck under a bridge.
I was wondering if someone was gonna mention this 😭
20:12
By far the most “It’s my first day energy.”
Arin at the beginning: I don't need to set up my controller, whatever
Literally one minute later: Oh no my controller doesn't work
You ever see the video where Jack finds a video describing GG in 10 seconds? This works just as well.
They've laughed at that "your dream job - driving a truck" everytime they've played the game
Arin lives by the motto "well I'm here now, what can they do to me at this point??"
🤣
Arin jack-knifing into a fence that doesn't break. I'm crying hot tears. 😂
Please do more of these driving simulator games, these are absolutely hilarious
It’s actually incredible to me watching people who have no clue how to back up a trailer. Pro tip: yes it starts as the “opposite” of what you want (eg if you need the trailer to go left you start out by turning right) but then you have to crank the wheel in the other direction so that the back of the cab follows the trailer around the turn. Otherwise you wind up with what happened to Arin at the end: a half-parked jack-knifed trailer with no room to fix it.
game: here is a setup wizard do not skip this if you want your controller to work
Game Grumps: this sign can't stop me because I can't read
I used to work for a produce company, and this brought back the sheer panic of when I got my truck wedged between a Subway and Sherwin Williams. At one point, I couldn't move either way, so I just floored it and ended up taking every drain pipe off of the side of Sherwin Williams on my way out.
“VR group walk in Wander” sounds like a 10 Minute Power Hour if I’ve ever heard of one.
As a truck driver this gave me so much anxiety, I couldn't stop laughing though, so many laws broken......absolute beauty at the gate. That had me rolling.
My dad was a trucker my whole life, he took me with him on easy job trips since I was 5 and they're the happiest memories I have. I would sleep in that little bed in the back while he drove and I felt so safe with him behind the wheel. Good times
This is beautiful
I used to go on the roads with my dad since he's a truck driver. Seeing the lil bed in the back made me so happy. best sleep I'd ever had. He'd also have a mini fridge and a tv in his truck since he'd be on the road for days. Love seeing you guys play this game, so fun n funny
I sleep better in that little bed than in my queen size bed at home lol
At 9:40 when he looks at his dashboard, I honestly thought the smaller GPS was a Medieval King in a cape about to knight someone with his sword
Arin:I can make it across these train tracks
Train: literally seconds away from turning arins truck into scrap metal
Me:yep that's arin alright
8:25 I love the immediate tone shift after that lmao
14:17 "I'm backing up like a f***** prince!"
*Immediately jacknifes the trailer*
"Whoops..."
I'd love to see an animated version of this where Arin is the vehicle and Dan is riding 😂
We definitely need that! 😂
Arin as optimus prime and Dan as the female driver
Watching this from the sleeper berth of my semi truck: yep, he just about gets it.
Dude Arin getting stuck in the middle of the road and the intro to the motor company had me SHAKING laughing
I was not expecting this but I haven't laughed this hard at a Game Grumps episode for a long time. I almost fainted.
26:34 anyone know the lore on Arin destroying $15k worth of equipment at Disney?
Lmao, I would also like some further information on this. Someone please elaborate!
Same
Just putting this here so if anyone replies I might learn of this.
I need the lore
🙏🏻
As someone who was a truck driver, I sent screenshots from this video to other drivers I know. My favorite was him wedged in the fence. Ya'll this was hilarious.
I watched this in my sleeper berth and I bet the driver next to me could hear me laughing lol. Actually, I pull reefer so maybe not...
@@Redbikemaster I always found it easy to sleep next to reefer. Like a noise machine, put me right out.
@@sleepy1697 that's how I am about them. Plus the people whining about them will happily idle their rig all night so I'm not sure how that's better lol
It's fascinating to see a different side of Dan in these trucker games. Just flatly suggesting, "The next car...smash it head on."
i was trying to sleep to this, but instead i ended up laughing so hard i cried. haven’t laughed like that in a long, long time. thanks fellas
Me 17 minutes in: they can’t spend the rest of the video trying to park
Me 10 minutes later: oh yeah, Arin “skip the tutorial” Hanson is playing
The funniest thing was watching him back the truck the wrong way, see that the trailer went the opposite of where he wanted it to go, going forward, then immediately trying to back it the same way again.
So a little background: I have a driving phobia and never got my driver's license. This episode inspired me to get American Truck Simulator just to test the waters. I freaked out for the first few hours of playing it and had to quit. But the next morning, I felt drawn back into it and started playing again, but this time, I wasn't afraid. Fast forward a several days and now I think it's safe to say I got over my phobia. I'm planning on getting a driver's license and a car now. Thanks Game Grumps!
I love driving. I've loved cars ever since before I remember so driving is natural to me and I drive trucks now.
I'm so glad to hear you making progress! Keep it going, I know you can do it!
I used this simulator to practice trailer backing before I got my CDL. Having now driven nearly 750,000 miles in semi trucks I can say this simulator nails the ambience of the job.
Holy hell I haven't laughed that hard in a while, the wedging in the gate, the bad backing up. We need more of this, also I would love livestreams of Danny and ari. Just cross country driving a bus or something.
As a truck driver in America, I found this video absolutely hilarious. Thanks guys
Arin at 22:28 just KILLS me every time. Just, him laughing gradually harder while trying to justify why he can't do what Dan's suggesting is too funny to me, idk why.
My father in law is a logger/ trucker and i have shown them this and they are laughing so hard about the parking job .they are just making so much fun .
This episode made me laugh so hard, I started crying. How is Arin worse at this than Matt and Ryan 😂
Watching Arin attempt to figure out how to drive a semi-truck made me laugh harder than any episode I have seen in a LONG time!
Watching Arin not know how Trailers work is both the funniest and most frustrating thing.
25:18 That random goofy laugh is *priceless*
"I'll make it! I'll make it! I'll make it!" on the list of things you never want to hear a trucker say.
As a trucker this is one of the funniest fucking things I've ever seen 🤣🤣 also the solid minute of silence then, *skip parking* "alright I did it" haha my face literally hurts from laughing
That whole disaster at the entrance was comedy gold.
I laughed so hard I started crying.
This is one of my favorite Game Grumps episodes ever.
I can't believe this is the same Arin that drove almost flawlessly in Europe Truck Simulator xD I love him, never change.
YES! Saturday Grumps and truckin'!! 🤣 Hope everyone has a great day!
it is really motivational to see this special boy succeed. If he can do it, literally anyone can

Holy crap this reminds me of learning how to drive the Grumman Postal Trucks...
I did ARC work for the holidays.
Brakes fail and you just kind of accept it and hope you're not going downhill. You can't drive through leaves or you slide and get stuck. You can't change a flat. A tow truck has to come get you. None of them have AC and you're lucky if they have working gauges. They can't get over 50 and they shake violently when you push them. The rattling of an empty Grumman is both satisfying and deafening all at once.
Yes they have an inspection list to follow before you get on the road but the vehicles are from the 80s and being used for Amazon delivery in rural towns. The demand is high and they're held together with bandaids and prayers.
I drove one that had no gas pedal or Ebrake and leaked water through thw windshield all over the electrical panel. It also couldn't park well... But it rolled.
They frown on reversing because you have no rear window and locate your position with over 6 mirrors in the front. You have to U turn.
I trained in one where the steering was going out and the driving instructor on the course yelled at me while looking at his phone the whole time.
The first week of training, me and another ARC couldn't do the training course because there were no working vehicles that weren't being used to make deliveries.
I quit because I wasn't comfortable and had a better opportunity elsewhere but it's impressive how much death you face as a Postal Carrier.
Ps. PLEASE. MAKE YOUR HOUSE NUMBERS. VISIBLE. GOOD LORD GPS SUCKS AND ITS SO HARD TO FIND YOUR HOUSE IN THE DARK WINTER MONTHS AND RAIN 😂
**additionally, as hard as it was to do Postal work, I don't think I've ever worked with a more cohesive and helpful team of people. It was only a few months but I remember all their names. What an amazing team 🥰
After watching the Fat Electrician video on those "mailcats" I had even more respect for the ones who drive them. As a trucker if a company told me to drive something in that condition I'd throw the keys back at the dispatcher cause if the truck is unsafe to drive I'm liable. You guys are saints for dealing with those things.
Also, completely agree on the house number thing. I lost my truck for 8 months due to a car wrecking it and I did Uber eats in the meantime to make rent. Holy cow people don't mark their houses. It's insane. I'd dealt with businesses not having good signage as a trucker but generally you can figure it out. Houses are another thing entirely. I mentioned this to my firefighter cousin and she went off about it lol. So you're not alone on that
This episode is certified classic game grumps. Getting stuck between the two fence posts was hilarious
This is still one of my all time favorite Internet videos. The memories alone make me tear up laughing
I’m sorry but you can’t just skip over Arin destroying $15k worth of equipment at Disney. What’s the story there?
Arin: Half-stops 20ft past stop line for red light, "What do you mean red light violation?!"
7:23 I think radar detectors are irrelevant now, because police have switched to using laser speedometers that point a very tight beam at your car. The old radar speedometers were incredibly noisy and threw off radio emissions in every direction when in use; that's how a radar detector could tell you that a cop was around before they clocked you. With the new speedometers, detectors would be pointless, because it would only be able to detect anything if the police were pointing the speedometer directly at your car, when it's already too late.
You assume all police departments have the latest and greatest technology. I'm willing to bet most are still using older tech
@@303elliott I suppose if you plan to speed regardless and you just want to reduce the tickets you get from old fashioned cops that works, but it doesn't seem worth it to me. I think radar detectors were far more popular when their failure to detect a signal was a more important piece of data, and I don't know anyone who uses them today.
@@303elliott No bet necessary. The police and highway control in my area exclusively have systems that operate in the Ka band and the transmitters cannot be shut off. Makes any speed traps pretty much useless to anyone with a RADAR detector. Also, *nothing* else uses that band except what I can only assume is like a misaligned transceiver for someone's satellite internet. Add in Waze (or JBV1) and you're golden. Same was true in the Sacramento region. DFW, OTOH, was a serious CF since anyone could have Ka band RADAR and even blue flashing lights. More dependent on Waze at that point.
As a truck driver myself, I love watching other people try this simulator and kinda see what its like to do our job even if they make a complete mockery of it. 🤣🤣Always entertaining🤣🤣

"Oh this is like that scene in Austin Powers".
More like the Evergreen incident in the Suez canal
"What does that mean in this context?!"
Yep, Danny, you are now realizing my pain whenever Arin tries to use a turn of phrase he doesn't know the meaning of.
Nah you are simply committing a Homunculus fallacy due to the argumentum ad baculum
Love this game .. especially the not backing up part
Idk why, but seeing Arin try to drive so carefully while talking is very funny to me.
The “I’ll make it, I’ll make it” is also killing me
Everytime Arin does a driving simulator I'm more and more convinced he should have his license revoked
