It’s not that bad honestly
I do
Damnit, I had to.
Oooooo
I blame the dad in this story for not defending his son
he's just as countable as the stepmom
The dad was an asshole
I wouldent blame the dad because he must have thought that the step mom was telling the truth and i am also geussing that he was very attached to her and was being minipulated by the step mom to do the things he did
@@golden_ingot still his fault for believing in the stepmom more than his son
Yes, the father is responsible for his son building distance between them. He is not only a bad father, but a weak person for allowing this Karen to manipulate him this overtly. Blood is more viscous than water, or however that saying goes 🤔
mad respect to the kid. he seems to be way more emotionally mature than his stepmother.
litteraly
Yes
But still 5 grand, miss out on that
I’ve seen cartoon characters more emotionally mature than this guy’s step mother
Fr tho like I would’ve literally thrown hands if someone sold my pc
That stepmother sounds exactly like my mother. I was the scapegoat of the family and nothing I ever did was good in her eyes. She would throw away my music, video games, even though I paid for them because she hated them. I will loathe that woman until the day she shuffles off this mortal coil.
Have you tried putting a nail under her tire when no one’s looking
This makes my blood BOIL, I am someone who has spent MONTHS researching about PCs, so seeing this story time makes me want to do worse than make the get a divorce.
Yeah my blood boils harder then when you make the perfect hot food/drink when you try to drink/eat it
It made my blood boil just with the computer bit and the piece of shit stepmother and shit ass father ganging up on him

Stealing a $5,000 setup (that the kid bought with his own earned money) is easily a felony so just throw down
I'm not a legal expert, but I think he could sue the stepmom for that especially considering that the guy she sold it to had provided plenty of evidence of her idiotic plan. If that is the case, quite the missed opportunity there.
I’d come to collect one way or another
@@Quintinthegreat if he was an adult at the time he could do a lot more than sue. He could press felony charges against her
@@Quintinthegreat exactly what i was thinking
but damn it feels good to be a gangsta
It is?? god let that be true
The stepmom got mad because the step son wasn’t weak like his dad so couldn’t control the boy
The step son was no simp
yep
It's so much more than that. She is a predator and found her favorite prey: a good kid. Also take into account that she likes drama, A LOT. Thus the constant starting of aguments, thus the constant walls of text acting like she is breaking up with someone. She found her favorite toy . She likes to push buttons, see how much she can psychologically abuse someone. She didn't do that with the dad because he might have dumped her, so she focused on the son, because she lost nothing by bullying him, but gained her nourishment of drama.
@@LordXerpentoR just like in the video, you typed novels.

This is probably among the few of your stories that absolutely infuriated me. I'm someone who's really into computers, so the computer getting stolen then sold for much less than it was worth, especially with today's market, I can't put it to words how much that hurt. And on top of that, the dude's computer was STOLEN, then sold. That's just a shitty thing to do to anyone, let alone your stepson.
people like this must get shoveled
Nowadays Computer is important, like many would pay Thousands of Dollars to programmers hire them. So I am kinda angry that she has sold it for like 700USD.
I am actually surprised that dude didn't press charges and a restraining order on her

" Well, we're trying not to turn this into something about her this is a meeting about your video game problem". Here's the thing though, if the problem was initially from their sour relationships with one another then that has to be addressed otherwise, it will cause more problems which the father is encouraging without seeing it from both sides, he's just taking his wife's side, which I find is unfair to his actual biological son.
She does not think she is in the wrong for selling something that did not belong to her. If she did not buy it with her own money, she does not get to choose if she can sell it. It's like saying you're going to sell a multimillion-dollar company, but you do not own it and think there is nothing wrong with it. She has to be the stupidest person on the planet if she cant understand this.
Yes. This is very right. Like, how do you NOT get in trouble with somebody if you're going to sell someone else's own property without their permission? And even go to the extent of FORCING SOMEBODY TO BUY IT? In fact, it might as well just be considered a crime worse than robbery.
she really is stupid smh
not to be mean but...if she had done this to me i don't rlly care she's a girl at that point i'm throwing hands at her and him
Lets hope the kid just move out this hell hole and just forget the family for very long time. He proved to be independent enough
@@aeighti3ee114 she is gonna to be sued for thief
@Colton Leib because of the value of the setup, it counts as grand larceny, so a minimum of 5 years in prison
This made my blood boil, because I experienced something slightly similar... The difference in the price that I bought it for vs how much she sold it for was only about 500 dollars. The biggest difference overall was intent. My actual mom did this as a punishment for something completely unrelated, and it was obvious she straight up just didn't _understand_ how insane of a thing it was to do. It disgusted me so much, because she was so stubborn about it, even despite how hard I tried to explain how huge of a violation it was. It was the only time in my life I EVER considered doing exactly what he did, and just not putting in effort to stay part of the family. Even years later, after she's done SO much unrelated stuff to help me, and I can ultimately say I forgive her despite her never even apologizing, I'm admittedly still a bit salty about it when it comes to mind.
So if there are any parents out there thinking this is a good idea, know that my mom is a better person than you. Straight up, shes an amazing woman and an excellent mom. This is the ONLY thing she did that ever felt anywhere _near_ this awful, and that literally almost didn't matter. The only reason I was able to mostly let it go, is because I was already old enough to have my own space, and not see her for over a year. If you've already done something like this, and you have any chance in h3ll to make it right, you better do it asap.

The stepmom technically sold it, and the guy worked for it. Since it was his, she could (or could have depending on timing) gotten in legal trouble.
Problem is most courts treat the property of minor's as belonging to the parents, so even if this young man bought this PC with his money, because he's a minor the court will say it's not their jurisdiction. You know, in most of these stories, why is it that the biological parent usually takes the side of the step parent and not their child? I understand wanting to keep the peace and all, but in these stories, especially this one, the bio parent seems to side with the step parent with minimal evidence and the kid is left to fend for themselves. Is this honestly how having a step parent is like? You lose all credibility with your parent in favor of someone new? I get that the bio parent is in a new relationship that makes them happy, and that not everyone gets along, so they're put in a position where they need to choose who to believe, but why would you not at least not believe either side without evidence?
It's because the father's a lovesick puppy, and the stepmom was his master
@@ntfoperative9432 i agree, i have a step mom and it's not like that. My step mom is actually really nice and actually sides with me sometimes instead of my bio father LOL.

I read that as “MY STEP COMPUTER STOLE MY KID’S MOM, KAREN”
I mean, he could have probably dragged the whole computer being sold into court, which might give some the impression of "end all be all" with the computer.
