Hey guys! Please share and like this if you enjoyed and learned something! I'm doing my best to get videos out but IRL TOO STRONG. Talk to me in the comments :) Thanks for watching! 💜💪
Perfect tutorial. This is my foundation of jungling. Knowing exactly where the enemy jungler is all the time to set up winning counter ganks and invades.
Wow! I never thought about leaving one raptor/wolf/krug behind. I've always fully cleared camps when counterjungling, but I'll start using this trick. I swear I learn something new in every one of your vids, even in things I thought I already knew how to do. Great job and keep it up!
I have been watching your videos for about 2 weeks, the same amount of time that I started playing Evelynn. When I started, I was easily dying a lot and messing up all of the time and constantly getting destroyed because of lack of map awareness, wards, etc. The enemy jungler would just get too far ahead of me and I would not be able to keep up. However, ever since I started watching your videos, it has helped me easily achieve 30+ kills in a game atleast 5 or 6 times and now I generally fall between 15 and 30 kills every game. The enemy junglers are also always far behind me because of the amount of punishment I apply to them when they mess up. So thank you for your content : ] Had you seen me before I started watching and applying your content to my gameplay, you would have thought that I was the worst jungler in the world, because I was haha.
Wowza. Notification didn't come through but enjoyed it as always. Thanks for your amazing work. I've almost climbed out of silver and of course you're videos definitely helped.
Thank you so much! This video helped a lot. My first jungle game as Yi went very well. I counter jungled against Tryndamere and ended up with a solid 16/6. Right now I’m in Bronze III
Virkayu I’m struggling a bit with Evelynn. I got her clears down and can easily out cs the enemy, but initiating a gank or being in a team fight is hard. My ult always seems to leave them at 2 hp and let them get away.
Hey these are really helpful. I'm still new to league and only at level 14. I noticed that in a lot of the blind pick matches I'm in that there are rarely any support or jungle players so my team would end up with a sort of awkward situation with two champs in two lanes. Two mid laners is especially awkward. So I decided that I would learn to play jungle to avoid this problem! I even found a champ I liked despite knowing nothing about how they worked or about jungling! I'm still not able to implement everything, and I forget a bunch of stuff, and make bad plays that I made more for the sake of making a play. Actually a big problem I have when i play is waffling. It's like, ok now what? Jungling makes this really obvious, whereas in lanes it's easy to just autopilot. So that advice to never waste time is actually helpful. Whenever I start to waffle now I try to pick a new objective in the next 5 seconds. It might not always be an ideal play but it's better than sitting around, which I would do. ANYWAYS I'm still new in general and these videos on jungling really helping me out. Counter-jungling is actually one aspect I can't really work on because of the general lack of enemy junglers around at my level haha. But again, thank you for putting these videos out.
Thanks for sharing and I'm glad they are helping you! League is a hard game to learn and takes a lot of time commitment but it is rewarding when you do. Same with me though - I started League wanting to go top lane Volibear because he was a tanky fluffy bear, but there would always be 2 people and I wanted to be solo - so I went jungle, like you :) Keep on learning every game, gaining new knowledge and you'll improve fast! Out of curiosity, what other questions would you like to see in a video from a level 15ish player new to jungle? Can't say what the plans are, or what will definitely be coming in terms of videos, but it would be interesting for me hear!
(FULL impression ahead that's why it's so long) Thanks for replying. Sorry for not getting back to you earlier, busy week for me with classes and such. As for questions about jungling? Well honestly there's a lot I still don't know much about, like items and runes and how champions are affected by them. I mean it is a complicated game so of course there's lots to know. Anyways, so far I've only jungled with Shyvana (I got an S- ranking on my last game with her! But honestly that was the enemy team making lots of obvious mistakes/being bad and me taking advantage of that...) but there a few things that I wonder about. Like pathing. I'm pretty sure my jungle pathing could be a lot better; after my first back I'm never quite so sure which way to go and I just end up clearing either blue or red side depending on how it looks like my top/bot laners might be doing in a minute and if I can gank. I heard you're supposed to clear sides of the jungle at a time so they respawn together but I'm not exactly sure what that means/how exactly to execute that. Another thing is wards. A lot of League videos from season 7 talk about pink wards but I'm pretty sure those don't exist in season 8, and so I guess there's only the warding trinket for wards now? Plus the one control ward I guess. The trinket wards don't last that long and one control ward per person, so warding seems more limited now than before. I see people buying multiple control wards too in gameplay videos but I'm not sure when you would want to replace a previous control ward. I always plop it down by the dragon and it seems to be fine there? So with wards being somewhat limited I'm unsure what the advantage of getting Oracle alteration is. I've looked around and it seems some people never take it and keep the first trinket to keep warding. Of course there's always the thing about ganking, but that is easier to decide I think. It's just looking to see if the enemy is pushing into our towers/chasing/overextending and if I can get there in time. An opportunity to gank. Have to say, a successful gank is always satisfying. There's probably other conditions that might let one gank, but this is what I've been doing so far. Epic monsters are also mostly straightforward, I take them if my team is pushing/the lanes are tied or if I know where their team is-if they're dead or back at base. This part is easy mostly because nobody wards and the laners are usually focused on their lanes until about mid game, and even then it's not difficult to take a dragon or the rift herald. Late game is riskier just because everyone is roaming, but with good vision it's still something I can do. Of course as Shyvana I'm all about taking dragon whenever I can. One last thing that is a bit awkward is running into the enemy jungler when there does happen to be one. When there is an obvious level and health advantage I'm pretty confident in my ability to 1v1, though I'll admit when I do this I'm not always as conscious of the map as I should be to see if laners are rotating to help/get me. But when the enemy jungler and I are the same level the answer isn't as clear. Usually I'll try to trade with them if there's little risk of it becoming a 2v1 but doubt this is always the best play. And that's it, for the most part. Late game is usually just helping the team secure objectives like towers, helping in team fights and warding jungle and baron/dragon, stealing camps if it's possible. I'm not sure that this is worth making a video of, but you asked how it is jungling at level 15ish. Honestly it can be a inconsistent real mess but that's not something you can control. There's been cases of two mids or inactive players or a Warwick bottom but not much I can do about that haha. I love it when the enemy doesn't have a jungler because it makes my life super easy lol, course it's not something I count on happening. There was an instance of a jungling Galio that just single-handedly destroyed my team once. May have been a smurf though... So yeah, now I'm just working on learning support and more champs, so I can do normal draft picks, currently level 18. The champion rotation this week is pretty sweet, I'm looking forward to trying Rakan, Xayah, Syndra, and Graves out. I already own a few; Ahri, Ezreal, Wukong and of course Shyvana, and they're all pretty fun to play. Slowly picking up new info about LoL, like for example I got real close and personal with how Tryndamere's ultimate works after he was just refusing to die at such low health haha. I must say, I've honestly learned way more about League playing Shyvana jungle as opposed to playing other champs in lane. It's actually kind of amazing. (Sorry for such a long response, but you asked, and I wanted to give my complete impression)
Finally I’ve been waiting for a vid from you for a while great to see it virkayu :) keep up the great work your vids are helping me get to plat, also what rank are you, just curious.
Hey man, love your vids! I just wanted to ask if you have done a video what to do if the enemy jungler is doing these things against you. Keep up the great work!
I'd like a tutorial on how to play vision game in jungle: knowing which are the best bushes to ward, when and why, where to place a control ward and when it's better to sacrifice the yellow trinket in favour of the Red trinket
Thanks a lot for this video. I've always main'd support. I learned a few tips and this will help me to be more aware of the map and champs even if I don't go into the jungle role!
Thanks for the comment, means a lot at the moment! Yeah, takes a lot of time and because of my work, means RIP this channel's growth, but as long as some people are finding it helpful then it's worth it :D
you put so much effort into these videos. they are so high quality. but unfortunately the viewer ship isnt there. but you will grow i promise with this effort

Reminds me of that one time I was just stealing camps left and right from the enemy, trying to put him behind, but my team felt bad for the dude and decided to do some charity event. (tl:dr i was counter-jungling but they were feeding like crazy so we lost anyway)
Haha glad to hear it and thanks for thinking it worth watching twice! I just try to keep it shorter with lots of information so people can get everything in a shorter time but reference back to what's relevant for them.
Awesome video as always! And I don't know if it only happens to me, but sometimes there are games where I simply can't find any ganks. I end up farming the whole early game. Do you have any tips?
My favorite counter jungler is rek’sai you can do it safe with your tunnels you farm quite quick and you have pretty good 1v1 potential but this also depends on the matchup, I also like counter jungling on kindred because it is almost necessary to get your marks your q wall hops makes it quite safe with red smite you have a lot of 1v1 potential

Hey Virkayu, thanks for the vid, 2 questions, 1) what do u do if u try to counter jg lvl 2 the enemy red or blue but their bot lane warded the buff and collapses on you and kills you, what should be ur priorities in that situation, 2) do you think we should always hold our trinkets when making moves in the enemy jg to keep track of the enemy when should we use our trinkets
I want to make more videos, but my brain won't let me. I have to.. put.. everything into each one.. I can't control it - they must be perfect! At least as they can be lol
Your videoes have helped me so much, i'm learning jungle this season and im so glad i found you! Looking forward to see more videoes and also followed on Twitch. Do you have a Discord server for your community aswell? Cheers.
Thanks a lot, glad you are finding the videos useful! I'm not streaming atm as I also work full time, but I hope that I can start this summer (I'm a teacher) and transition to more UA-cam/Twitch time :) Working on a discord - not ETA, but it's in motion.
So one thing that I consistently fail at in my games is my map awareness, while taking any kind of objective, or farm, any kind of tips to break that, or is this just an internal struggle?
Usually map awareness becomes more prevalent the less you're concerned with the small things. For example, if you're focusing on your champ mechanics, farming well and ganking because you're learning those things, you probably won't be paying as much attention to the map and other events. You want your abilitiy to play your champion and farming the jungle to be second nature so that you can do it without actively thinking on it. This will free up your mind to focus on other aspects of the game you couldn't otherwise do. It's why something like Nidalee is never advised unless you're very experienced/naturally mechanically talented, because the micro needed for using her is very intense that it'll be common to almost entirely focus on Nidalee rather than the entire game. Things like Warwick/Amumu for example are easy to play that opens you up to pay attention to things like the map and other events. I hope that makes sense, but other than that, yes, as you gain experience and the basics become second nature, you ability to hard focus on the map will increase. It's also something to be aware of each game: 'okay, look at the map, when last did I look at the map'.
as a jungler i dont understand your ward in the center of the red buff, i mean you have visión already, isnt better place the ward on the bush that from mid to raptors for visión? even in on raptors it will be better, for you and your lanes
How to deal with a loosing streak? Im feeding atm and i feel bad for my teammates cause i think that im holding them back :( (looses in a row atm at plat elo) P.S i dont tilt im just sad
Probably will update my ganking guide this year but I did a whole video on ganking in general which helps with counter ganking but I also talk about it specifically: ua-cam.com/video/wA3kyEsMh24/v-deo.htmlm1s
I'm Diamond, a full time teacher/coach and League of Legends enthusiast. I hope you find the information useful and believable, as many people on this channel have before! If you want to achieve the challenger rank, then I advise looking up someone like LS.
@Virkayu Your guides and tips are pretty decent, but your pink ward placement in every single clip was horrific. You keep placing them deep into the brush against the wall and that limits how much vision you can get from them. You want to put them on the very edge of the brush to the very pixel to maximize your vision from them. The red side brush behind enemy wolves for example, if you actually aimed it correctly in the brush as far north as possible, and as far from the wall as possible, you could actually see the entirety of that jungle entrance and it would be much more useful.

Easily my favorite youtube tutorials for jungling right now. I watch these all the time and share them regularly. Keep up the great work!
Thank you - means a lot! Hope to keep on improving!
This is my go to guide whenever I feel lacking while playing league. Thanks for the vids, mate!
You have the best editing of ANY league guides... great video, keep it up!
Thank you, purple minion! I wish you were blue side, but purple is my favourite colour (in case you didn't notice) so you're all right by me.
I have been watching your videos for about 2 weeks, the same amount of time that I started playing Evelynn.

Vikayu! The best jungle tutorials on You Tube! S2
agree
was just thinking the exact same thing
I learn a lot from your vids. I have tons of fun playing Jungle and reading peoples minds. Feels like Im a real strategist!
Glad you do, and that's why I love jungling too - strategy is the best part!
By far the best league guides on UA-cam. You are amazing! Plz keep doing what you do! It's so helpful and informative.
Thank you so much!
Wowza. Notification didn't come through but enjoyed it as always. Thanks for your amazing work. I've almost climbed out of silver and of course you're videos definitely helped.
Thank you! Also congratulations - go get that gold!
This is such a well rounded and easy to understand guide! Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Thank you for that, and for watching!
You videos are soo good. Detailed, precise, good looking and well explained.
Good job
Thank you :)
Virkayu amazing job explaining mechanics love watching your videos. I'm a success story just keep climbing keep up the good work man!
Thank you :) Keep climbing!
Thank you so much! This video helped a lot. My first jungle game as Yi went very well. I counter jungled against Tryndamere and ended up with a solid 16/6. Right now I’m in Bronze III

Thank you! Supports who understand counter jungling are the best to play with when you are the jungler - it's a team effort!
I appreciate that. Congratulations on your success!
Thank you for the video, good topic. Your guides really inspire me to improve.
Also, really like the editing. Must be pretty time consuming though :D
A well explained video as always :) Good job man
Thank you! Good luck - I believe you can do it!
man we need to get you more subs. You got some of the best LOL content out there but idk if anyone knows about Virkayu!
Some people pay for high elo guides like this and u share with us for free
U r a generous man
And I like the perfection in ur videos
U seem working hard on them and I appreciate that so much
Keep this great work up bro
All love😘
Knowledge should be accessible to all, no matter the subject! Thank you for the nice comment and for supporting the channel 😁
Reminds me of that one time I was just stealing camps left and right from the enemy, trying to put him behind, but my team
felt bad for the dude and decided to do some charity event.
(tl:dr i was counter-jungling but they were feeding like crazy so we lost anyway)
RIP
Had to watch this twice so I can make sure to get all the info I can. Don't want to miss any detail :)
Haha glad to hear it and thanks for thinking it worth watching twice! I just try to keep it shorter with lots of information so people can get everything in a shorter time but reference back to what's relevant for them.
Virkayu I find videos very insightful for that very reason. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see more
Awesome video as always!
Hey! i absolutely love these guides, they've helped me significantly, i have a suggestion though i guess you could call it? when you reference another video you put a link in the top right of the video, but going back to try and find it isn't always the easiest thing to do, any chance you could put it them in the video description? :)
Done! Good idea, thanks! I'll make sure to say 'in the description' in the future.
You're the man! thanks!
thank you .! :) make a lot of videos bro your videos are so helpful for the beginners :)
Great video as always, I learn a lot from your channel! I need to ask you what is the name of the song that you played first in this video? It’s too good, very relaxing!
Thank you! Not sure if it's publicly available outside of Epidemic Sound (source for YT music) but it's "Here We All Go", by Gunnar Johnsen.
Hey Virkayu, thanks for the vid, 2 questions, 1) what do u do if u try to counter jg lvl 2 the enemy red or blue but their bot lane warded the buff and collapses on you and kills you, what should be ur priorities in that situation, 2) do you think we should always hold our trinkets when making moves in the enemy jg to keep track of the enemy when should we use our trinkets
that's really something I need to improve, tks ^^
Do you think that with Nunus consume it makes him better at reactive ganks/buff steals than aggressive ganks? Also thanks for the vid.
Thanks to ur guides i know, now what can i do as a jungler and how can i control games thx man :D
You are welcome, thanks for watching :D
best tutorials...you deserve more subs
Thanks! :D
Wowww you put so much effort into your videos...
I want to make more videos, but my brain won't let me. I have to.. put.. everything into each one.. I can't control it - they must be perfect! At least as they can be lol
Ur videos are simply amazing, i always learn a lot from you! Ty :D
Dude.. You can't call me master and have me reply and then delete the comment. What is this? But thank you, glad they can help! :D
I didnt see the reply, xD
When the notification came i was like "Oh what did i just made"
Sorry for the bad english, btw. Im Brazilian
haha your English is great, I didn't even think it wasn't your first language! Thank you for watching :D

Alright glad to hear!
great video like always
awesome guide, as always
Thanks!
Awesome job as always
Thanks!
Virkayu may I ask how u got ur name it’s very unique
9:23 LMAO Singed pulled him behind and Volibear pulled him again to the other side xDDD
Thoughts on Voli right now?
Super fun, super strong. Nerfs in 8.5 but should still be good, will just tame him a little bit.
reactive counter jungling has no place in bronze, none of your team mates will ever react to your pings thats sad tbh do you have any advice?
Also are u going to make more jng champs guide
Yes, I will be..
Ok
WOWOWOWOW HOLD UP A MINUTE. SPEAKING ABOUT KAISA IN THE JUNGLE B4 SHE'S EVEN OUT. WAIWAIAWAIWAIWAI

Virkayu Thanks! I've already been playing alot of ww in that attempt, I'll keep all this in mind

I'm Diamond, a full time teacher/coach and League of Legends enthusiast. I hope you find the information useful and believable, as many people on this channel have before! If you want to achieve the challenger rank, then I advise looking up someone like LS.

Bro watched this and then got counter jungles hard. I lost but did get raped
First!!
WINNER! 🏆
