When I heard the terrible news about Keith getting the boot, I presumed he was being replaced by a much-younger presenter who would play modern music but, in reality, an 80 year-old who plays old music has been replaced by a 70 year-old who plays old music! Keith still had a few good years left in him and should still be on BBC Radio!
One of my favourite DJ presenters. I still have a cassette recorded from a reel to reel tape I made in August 1967, the last day of Radio London's broadcasts. Keith reads the news. Interesting to hear about Vietnam, etc. Not a big fan of the BBC, so never heard him on it, though his broadcasts from East Anglia are out of my region in the West of England. Good on yer, Keith! 🙋🤓
We will never hear his like ever again he will be sorely missed,
he said he was returning, damn BBC, Brian Matthew, Jimmy Young, now Cardboard. Only show I listened toon local radio.

Retired or Fired? Once again the BBC like ITV have done the dirty on a great presenter.
