- I knew there was an extremely rare gem to find and I wasn't gonna stop until I did. I set up an entirely new operation that runs faster and smoother than any before and kept grinding away until the new Onyx showed up. From there I decided to see what I could make with this valuable gem.

DFs obsession with giant piles of gold is why I think he hasn’t done a face reveal. He doesn’t want any of us nerds to find out he’s a dragon.

I've learned from playin an unhealthy amount of this that it's better to turn the dirt into shinies as soon as possible, then send all the loot off on its long trek to wherever. Way easier to prevent problems that way. I like to sort it close to the grinders too.
I mean, that would be efficient. But this is DF, his priorities are massive piles of shit and a game that runs at as few frames as possible.

Can I just say that I love it when you laugh? I don't know why, but it just makes my day whenever you do.
It's because DF is realising how stupid the things are he's saying and there's no turning back. I'm a 47 year old male who doesn't really play video games. I found him watching how to play poly Bridge videos and so glad I did. I never miss an Upload of his. His actually got a kind of an Australian sense of humour that's quite rare unless ya from down here.

The reason those cables didn't work is because the mini nukes are powered by logic, not power. You need logic cables to turn them on.

I just realized how df could have filtered the new ore/ gem, because there is a filter for every gem but the new one, he could have used a filter for every gem leaving only the new one in the conveyer.
Or just dumped all the gems into a combining thing

Guys... I have a crazy idea. I think DF may be a dragon. Just look at how obsessed he is with gold piles and collecting large piles of treasure
Pro tip: instead of cutting bars and then heating them, heat one then once you put it on the anvil, hit it with the saw,they stay heated. If you need 3 bars cut once then cut the top one

I love how the dev still doesn't want to put an inventory system. DF could do this in regular mode but moving that many items is hell so the creative route is all there is.

Game looks much smoother, good to see the devs are still working on their project
It was made by a single person, but after it gained in popularity, he's actually hired a team to make hydroneer 2.0 which will be optimized and multiplayer compatible.
The new gem came in an update that also included new fishing and the creative mode.
But prior to that update, there were a few updates for optimization

i think hydroneer is df at his best. i love his excessivly stupid ideas that sometimes almost work.
U should really try and make a huge system that sorts and processes everything you mine and then makes huge individual piles of each processed ore.(also imagine a pile of pure gold)
Now if only he played stardew Valley again I use to love waiting an watching his stardew Valley videos.

So many times that DF looked at an onyx and said “I can’t see my one.”
There is something called a hand sorter where you put a gem on a spot and it sorts it out to where everyone hung but the item gets spit out.
