That try saving tackle by Courtney Lawes is one of the best ever, effort to get to the player, technique in the hit and cunning to knock the ball out of his hands as he was going down, absolutely fantastic.
Thanks for the video. My son’s team had a 15 who would take a tackle. Inside the 5m he would always score, even when taking a big hit, as he would twist and turn. He used to go with the tackle, using their force. Brilliant player, his only weakness a lack of acceleration, but he’d be targeted after the first 20 mins, so frequently didn’t last the match. He used to tell the others to aim for the thighs and slide down. It was the only type of tackle that stopped him. Not that applicable to the tight five but the flankers and centres followed his advice and we got a reputation of not leaking. Take a player’s legs and they hit the ground at speed. Yet the tackles didn’t look that spectacular and rarely caused the referee to take an interest.
For those "men" born in the 80's a lot of this is child's play. The coaches sons aren't good enough just get an easy ride to the top. The English schools is picked with how much money your father has. If these boys played rugby at adults back then they woukd have lasted the first ruck

I take big hits in my age league
The Ardie Savea hit wasn't big 😂
Thats impressive, but 80% of these tackles are not even legal, and dangerous for players. We truly need new rules about that.
Less show, more security
rugby is so cooler
結構匂うだろうな
45 seconds, hog rider
you need to watch more southern hemisphere rugby.. super rugby.has a lot better hits then most of this garbage.
😂😂😂
most are due to awful tackle technique
