Wow I understand what you are saying! Thanks so interesting, but a skill way above my ability! But I do love when things are explained it makes for a better selection on my part of a design.
As a beginner embroiderer, i would love to see video examples of the things you talk about on the exact times you're talking about them, since english is not my native language, i sometimes find myself confused or just wondering what are you talking about, there is a lot of slang in the world of embroidery and that is a jungle on it's own for me at times, i end up just thinking the meaning is completely different than intended...
Another point - thread tension should be lower for good results on stretching fabric. And I use different directions, because many same direction fills make waves on the canvas.
But...but... why not show the stitch-out of the improved design on the same material as the original that puckered so badly? How can we make any judgement at all without the final stitch-out in a direct comparison - I don't understand it's absence in this video John.....
Great advice! Thank you. I always feel it’s because I don’t have enough stabilizer or it is not heavy enough. I now see that’s not always the case!

Great suggestion! We will definitely incorporate this in our future videos :)
Thanks so much John! Love all the tips and advice here to avoid puckering.
I have been digitising for a few years, but hadn't considered stitch direction. Thank you
Thanks for this important information.

I'd love to see the new sample.
We'll add it to our socials soon :)
Very good video. Well normal for you. Have not seen a bad one yet.

Good video thanks
Thanks for watching!
do you have a list of stabilizers and their uses please. I need to know the best stabilizer for working on Tshirts and also blankets.
Can you make a video on how to digitize and embroider on plastic tote bags. I keep tearing right through the plastic.
Thanks John! I’ve had a few issues with puckering due to the stabilizer shrinking.
Will you be showing the stitch out on denim?
thumbnail giving the vibe of Ken 😅❤
