Google is not beating OpenAI. Anthropic is by far the best models price-wise, and OpenAI o3 WAY by far the most powerful AI model to date. Google Imagen and VEO are OK, but not that much better. Google's slightly better models in one field are still beaten by OpenAI's massive progress in the general field of AI.
While Antrophic models are good, I wouldn't say they are the best price-wise. Just look at this overview, it is actually one of the most expensive models: artificialanalysis.ai/models/claude-35-sonnet Also on the lymsys human eval leaderboard claude 3.5 sonnet achieves comparable performance to gemini pro 1.5 and gpt-4o while being more expensive.
