    Lessons I took from this video:
    Being a big fish in a small pond is the way to go (Niching down)
    Solving a specific business is the key factor in getting the attention of a client
    Outsourcing your weak point is the way to scaling up
    Having a clear process to succes gives confidence to the client to move forward with you(It also gives a expert status)
    Differentiate yourself from the crowd, through content marketing
    Understand what your service does for the customer(Know the KPI's and find out how to reach them)
    Not knowing what problems you solve with your service will result in a hard time selling yourself
    If I had to choose from what I took from this video it would be: To niche down and get focused. Being a commodity will get you no where
    Whats yours?

    I was impressed by this video. I thought a young man with no business experience had found a way for agency owners like myself to make $20k per month. So I contacted Josh through linked in. I asked could he point me in the direction of a Linked In specialist he talked about. He replied saying the Linked In specialist worked for his agency and would I like to make an appointment to talk? So it’s a dog and pony show IMO. Ran you have a good channel, please research your guests further before having them on.

      Actually, I checked his new website and it seems way better than the last one. Not the greatest I have seen but...decent. Still sketchy as fuck when he claims that his coach works for his company. I mean what kind of mentor you are if you work for your student. I think he is an actual designer and he really does what he claims in the video. Just that maybe he is not doing as good as he wants us to believe... Anyway, the way he speaks shows that he has some selling skills. It seems that he can make a decent website as well. And he is having an idea about a strategy to acquire leads. Again I think he is what he said. Not as good or as transparent, however.

    EXCELLENT job prodding the guest to provide valuable detail. All too often, the speakers in a UA-cam video are incredibly vague, as opposed to being descriptive without unnecessary rambling. They oftentimes carelessly "gloss over" any important detail or background information that the audience would need to fully understand what is being said.

Good for him for starting in business young, but he's a fraud and definitely not making anywhere near 10k/month. I would be surprised if he's making $500/month. The kid just finished high school. Many newbies who are exited to launch on the 2.0 and could do it themselves are pretty happy to pay the startup fees.
      Just closed a 5k landing page + ecom yesterday from a Facebook client, he didn't care which platform, he was even open to all my suggestions and all he cared about is a beautiful Ui and didn't even asked for my portfolio.

      @@vikkal2008 Hi Victor, i asked those questions myself, let me ask u, ¿how much are u charging for a basic website?, i think it will always rely on the value you show to the owners, we are all humans based on some common bias, so if are able to sistematically show that the X amount they spend is a lot less than the Y value they will get, the price become easier to raise (obviusly if u deliver the promissed to the client)

    • @oussamdz2761
      @oussamdz2761 4 роки тому +3

      2.0 is the web, high value clients want a custom design from scratch, that involves a custom and functional Ui, it is nearly impossible for them to create using any website building tool themselves because it takes so much time to understand how the web works + having very advanced design skills.
      The client I talked about has bought a hosting, a domain name, a do it yourself builder yet was stuck.
      Secondly, he spent years focusing on his products and has a money making strategy, and finally, this is the type of clients you are targeting not some broke people wanting a random website.
      And that's why ui/ux work pays well, because it is custom and hard to do.

    Is it weird that someone talking about selling website / web based automation to high value clients didn't have any website link in the Interview here and none in LinkedIn as well. Something is not adding up. !! 20:15 is the process in a nutshell !!

      Absolutely no social proof in this. It looks like a total scam. No links, now portfolio, no mention of "my linkedIn guy". I this were real, and I was his LinkedIn guy with no specific reference, I'd be incredibly disappointed that I missed out on this opportunity. All this points to this being fake results.

    I'm impressed by what he says, but it also sounds a little bit fishy. Any client he has done could be a case study, so why hasn't he used those? I looked at his YT channel and he is not making good use of video as a selling tool.

    Elephant in the room how much does the LinkedIn coach cost? Last one I talked to was like 7000K for their starter package so not cheap. I see about 3 or 4 of these guys on my social media feeds per day. You have to be very careful which "guru" you get they could be good or could be frauds.

    • @LiLAlbiHD

      700k????? What the fuck lol. Thats the wildest ive ever seen. I used to be a linkedin coach and worked for the biggest linkedin lead gen company in the states.
      Take it from me and sorry im 11 months late but save yourself the money and learn to how genuinely connect with people on linkedin. That will lead to 100x more longevity and health in your business than automated spam messaging

    Congrats to him, seems like he found something that works for him. However, pitching this as an idea that will work at scale for many people after he’s only been doing it for a month and a half seems wrong.
    He should come back in 12 months and show us how he’s doing and not simply refer to “i have a guy” and using buzzwords each time an important point is raised

    A simple marketing website for a profitable small business, $400 is definitely undercharged. 4k~8k is reasonable, over 10k you'll likely need a sizable team. Regardless, there's something to learn from this young man, thanks for sharing!

    • @LiLAlbiHD
      @LiLAlbiHD 2 роки тому

      Was thinking same thing. Sounds like he architects the wireframe based on strategy and his mmr method then passes it in trust to the designer to juice it up with the brand and designs. Id honestly guess a flat % per project, maybe 10% ?
      My route would be long game i think and to hire a fresh design intern out of college or finishing college to design the site and teach them webflow to build it. Take 4-6 weeks to train them on everything, give them a flat %, tons of experience, and fire quickly if things dont work out
