Always enjoyed every episode of the Carol Burnett show 💞💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏.
So happy to see this uploaded! Amazon has the eps up but they’re all cut up. I was so disappointed to come up to this episode and not see Bobbie Gentry’s performance. I adore her voice so much.
Christina Romano, at time 29:30
Best TV then. Need this on today's warp world...
I would love to see Meryl Streep as Phyllis Diller in a movie about her life! :O
Oh wow! I like seeing these shows that were before my time. So cool!
55 years ago? Omylanta. .I have become old and this seems just like yesterday. Sunday night's? Always a great variety show and ensemble of incredibly talented artists. 🙏👏
love Carol's and Vicki's haircuts!
There's enough hidden talent among the present to restart another electronic vaudeville series. Carol can host it!
I watched the show when I was younger. I had always heard about her sister, Chrissy but I’ve seen any pictures or video until now. She isn’t anything what I imagined. I guess Vicki’s resemblance to Carol made me think her real life sister would have looked more like her. That said, It’s great seeing this full clip of Vicki with the audience.
Chrissy is Carol's half sister (same mother), and her father was of Italian descent.
Chris does appear on I've Got A Secret in a sequence featuring young folks with celebrity relatives.
*but I had not seen any pictures or videos until now.
Bobby Gentry was superb.
Cool hair and outfits!
Ahh...vintage Carol Burnett!
This brings back childhood memories. I learned to speak English watching shows like this.
