Out of all of these, Garen is the hardest for me. He has way too much consistent damage.

@@mingyiliu352 I have 2M on Garen and i have to say, Garen is hard couter to Jax, BUT the most strong thing Garen can do in this matchup is sustain, Garen have MUCH more sustain than Jax, if you want to fight Garen build some life steal things and you are going to do better, but remember, in the end he is your couter so be careful

How do i deal with a nasus with permacamp from enemy jubgle
We really wanted to do a Jax vs Nasus matchup, but it was incredibly hard to find because there's not that many high elo players playing Nasus.
You've mentioned in the Mordekaiser matchup that you want to get the 3rd wave under the turret, but the Jax failed to do so. What do you do if you manage to get the wave under the turret? Do you recall, walk back to lane and try to freeze the wave after it bounces? If not, then what else?
I struggle to decide when to help my jungler and drop minions for that. Especially in lower elo junglers just don’t care about priority in lane. Any tips on how to decide?

Judging by the details you mentioned, I presume you can give some tips about warding for jax. Any specific times, places, situations. Personally I give up 1 or 2 cs to ward the river before I have to start my turn to slowpush the lane

Since Morde needs 3 abilities/hits, if he hits Q+E, you can still avoid his passive for 3 seconds, so if you get hit by Q and E, I'd still take a shord trade with AA, W and E, and jump out before the stun ends

One more thing, I’ve noticed that a lot of the Korean god Jax players build blade of the ruin king first against heavy tanks like sett, volibaer or malphite, would you advise that?
think it might be preference and if you're getting jungle assistance to be honest, I feel safer with Tri every time for the 20% cdr. also found getting ahead early with electro ignite works to get in their heads but I've found the more I play Jax, the different runes and builds you can take and it's very much personal preference too.

the thing about the darius match up is that once you play him a couple of times, you're going to with 7-8 times out of ten. so don't be afraid to make some mistakes but also always follow the rules that wickd stated on the video. darius is all about punishing ur mistakes so u have to make sure not to fuck up
I’ve watched this over and over, and I’ve always had questions. Against the Darius matchup, let’s you fight him. He e’s you and you e after. But at that point, he’s already hit a w on you before you get to e because you’re cced. Same thing with the second trading pattern where you have to e his w and then jump away. Can’t he just e you before you can e to get a free w off? Is there something I’m missing like do I have to e before I walk up or is there actually a time frame I can e before his e actually pulls me?
As a jax main, i would suggest you making a guide against illaoi.

4:55 You could've killed garen if you saved your Q, jax is faster than garen by default so all you had to was walk towards him and auto him to death til he flashed then Q'd on to him
If Garen is good he starts E , maxes E and will never throw his Q unless your E is down , just saying. Against Jax at least.
I truly agree. As a Garen connoseur, it's standard for me to start E and then get Q level 2 usually if I have the level advantage (which I get most of the time against Jax) or W if we reach level 2 at the same time and decides to jump on me. The way Garen wins this matchup is to start e into him, either hold q until the e finishes or use the speed boost from the q to gap close and predict his stun with your w (after a couple of matches you should be able to predict some, if not a good part of the stuns). The way Jax wins is to abuse Garen's mistakes and go for Vampiric Scepter -> Bilgewater -> BoRK because this way if Garen mispositions, Jax can just run him down.
Tl; dr: Garen should push to get level 2 first. As Jax, play giga safe if you can't match his q with your e or play in front if he q's and you can match it, this way you at least go even in trades, if not win them (a good Garen will not q randomly, a good Jax player will not e randomly). Wait for your item power spikes, his mistakes or your jungler.
I have a question: When don't you want to slowpush at level 1? I've seen you do that but I don't know the reasoning
Never jump a morde anywhere close to his turret. A preemptive backwards grab when he sees you jump means you end up in tower. And you wasted your escape.
How do you consistantly know when the health plant is up?
Its incredible how u have to play extremely clean and think about every action u made against those matchup when the meta abuser darius player stuck in diamond 4 with a gold level just has to bully u like a dumb "me stronger than u at practisely each part of the game, me run to u, me win". Also some player say that Jax counter A LOT of top laner but some other say the oposite thing and i think he GET counter by so many busted champ .

YoshiFlex It’s like the Tryndamere story. Look for a kill early but just move on to his team late. Malph is the real og counterpick. Back when Shojin was still there, Jax with Shojin late game could not beat a malph late game.

be agressive , and try dodge her parry if you fucked up with stun . You ez can jump ,auto ,emp auto after lvl 3 . And you win all trades if she try q to you just use counter strike and run away . I'm low plat player and not jax main , but i beat diamond fioras in flex all the time .
that's easy! the most important thing is that you have to remember is his parry's cooldown and if it's up try your best to side step to dodge it. Fiora parry is like a skill shot you can dodge it.

It doesn't seem like you can all-in a Darius level 2 if he takes his E and Q, because he can E you and land a free Q. Any comments on that?

Darius is my personal ban, not necessarily because of me but he's easy to snowball in lower elo and get back in the game. My questions are still about;
When to rush BORK, is it always after triforce? Or if you get ahead or against a Tank matchup I would imagine? I never finish it before Tri personally as the 20% cdr and Sheen is too good/
Also Black Cleaver over Steraks if no burst or against tanks?
Been experimenting recently as well in around Gold, on Kr op gg theres the highest ranked "Jax Master" and he plays Electrocute + Ignite, I've found a lot more success lane and win wise with it, I'd say it's low elo abusable but this guys also in Masters in KR and still uses it! Might be worth a shot, heavy all in level 2 pretty much results in first blood every game.
Also excellent guide again, liking them all, very useful! Still probably gonna keep banning Darius though he's a pain to play against and too much snowball in lower elos.
So about rushing BORK, you can rush BORK first item if the enemy doesn't buy armor. If he builds bramble vest BORK will be useless against it. If you are fighting cho gath for example, you can build first item wits end, which gives you MR and magic damage so you will counter his armor with it while also taking less damage. Usually I get 2 longswords and wait to see if my enemy goes for armor. If he doesnt then I finish building BORK first item which is really strong. If he actually goes then build phage and try to finish triforce asap.

How do you deal with garen passive? No matter how good my trade are he just go back to full hp and because he has no mana am sudently behind even though I traded well
You zone him out so if he wants to regen he has to give up cs and exp, but if he just standing near minions you have to attack him to reset his passive which i believe has 8s CD
So basically every 8s you have to AA him then he won't regen, if he jjst runs away, you zone him out so he loses minion exp and gold

Manipulate wave to set up a freeze or else you lose. Wither is just an amazing ability to be used against champions like Jax.
How to beat mordekaiser: manipulate the wave by manipulating him to make him manipulate the wave for you
Jax can easily beat Mordekaiser by playing aggressive against him. I know because I am a Morde main player.

I mean, I know Garen is a braindead champion, but if the Garen know what he's doing, Jax will NEVER win lane against him.
This Garen from the video did everything wrong:
- He started Q instead of E (you need E for wave-clear early against Jax so you get level 2 first, plus his E doesn't block yours).
- After losing the trade, instead of using his passive to heal up he insisted in playing agresive (with level disadvantage too, which he wouldn't had if he started E).
- Wasted his Ignite for no reason (so no kill pressure later now that he's already behind)
- Traded in huges minions waves at the opossite side of his lane while being behind, again, for no reason.
Even if you do somehow get behind against a Jax as Garen because you misplay, you can still use your passive and Doran Shield to heal back up, outsustain Jax's mana pool, and then force him under his tower or his B, making him miss exp and gold or at least force his TP.
TL,DR: The only way you lose lane against Jax as Garen is if you f*ck up constantly.

Jax loses to Garen early. A proper Garen will play aggro with E max first, W the stun and hold Q til counterstrike is down. Jax will get out-traded every time until he gets BORK. Your guide should really acknowledge this part. I dont see how showing a matchup against a bad Garen helps your viewers improve. Cant support this guide unfortunately.

@@wickdlol Whether or not the Garen was Challenger doesn't really change the argument. The Garen clearly should not have just Q'd you without at least attempting to trade with a normal auto first. I do agree however that a large majority of Garens make this mistake in the matchup.
