Avi was my first man crush. He is one of the things that made me realize I am gay. I started to watch PTX in 2014, as a 7th grader, and I remember wanting to be a bass so bad! Now, I am a bass in my choir as a Senior in high school. I have made it pretty far with singing, as I get to travel from my small town in Montana to Portland, Oregon to go sing in a mass choir that I auditioned for (only 66 people from my state made it). If it weren't for this man, I don't think I'd even be in choir today. Love Avi so much!
I could listen to this all day !!! his voice is so soothing thanks for putting this together my brother sings in his chorus and heard his voice and said "OMG WHO IS THAT? HE SOUNDS AMAZING" I could just smile
The way he sings that C2 at 1:49 so effortlessly, loudly and beautifully, and even adds a little smile while he's singing it like "yeah, ya'll just heard that". His voice has gotten a lot better (and more resonant) than what it was during the PTX days. And with time his voice will get even deeper... Just imagine that... Let's take Tim Foust and Geoff Castellucci for example... they're like 8-9 years older than him and his voice is already so low. His lowest note ever was a F#1 as he stated in a pretty old interview, already close to Tim's (F1 I think) and Geoff's (F1 or F#1) lowest chest notes. Imagine what he'll sound like once he gets to their age. He'll destroy all those bass battle videos that people make. Even on his latest song "Change on the Rise" he hits pretty low notes in the bass track, just saying lol
The three of them have F#1 as their lowest note ever in Chest, excluding slides. Avi is the one with the most natural, loud, and resonant low range of the three, also because he trained as a Basso Profundo, even if he is not one yet.
I think there is a wonderful man and a wonderful voice going down. He is depressed and neglected. Avi, you are still so young. Do not let that happen. Only my thoughts. I could be his mother.

therealpixie Nah Avi’s always sung solos with his eyes closed. He’s big on getting emotionally into the songs he’s singing, and I think that closing his eyes helps him.
Avi is hard at work on new music; he has been since 2017. He's taking his time because he really wants to make sure that it's from his heart and the best he can give. We're likely to see new music released some time this year.
