I have installed Fenesta double glazed window for sound insulation. It does its job perfectly but the cost is way too high. Since my window size was small, I could opt for it. But for bigger areas like balcony shown here, cost will go in Lakhs e.g. 8 X 15 X 1000 = 1.2 Lakhs.
If you have budget, do go for it as it is very sturdy and durable.

You didn't mention about its durability, maintainablility and lifespan as compare to other options apart from just cost. Pls put more light on that...
Dont worry they are even stronger than the aluminium ones and after fiximg them they will give you no problem even after 20-30 years
Lifespan is 20-25 yrs,for aluminium 45 yrs

You should’ve put more information about sound insulation and heat transfer in the video. You can elaborate on what is glazing and what is single versus double. How is it done, it’s benefits etc. I think this video is very basic.
Anyhow, Could you let me know how to prevent mosquitoes from entering. There is the gap between the two sliders (glass panel and mosquito screen panel). the mosquitoes enter despite having a mosquito screen.
Put fixed mosquito net on outside, and window on inside.

How would you compare DOMAL aluminium doors and windows to UPVC?
Hey Nihara, very informative video, but about locking system, it is easy to operate as you said, but safety wise is it really fine, give some info on how safe is it to have PVC windows for balcony.
Yes please do.... it’s ok if the flat is on higher floors... but bit of concern if we use it on first few floors...🤔🤔🤔

I got that installed in my house. . but it was but expensive . Full Sensor for 4 pannels ( they have a common alarm ) costed 60000

Double glazed windows in your studio at strategic locations and you can insert sound absorbing tube shaped foam rolls inside the frame of upvc. btw fantastic videos. Also ms thickness and glass quality is a good indication of quality.
how and where do you install those foam tubes can you guide me? as someone in the comment section said double glazed window in big size costs a lot of money.

Can these doors/windows be of removable type? Lot of dust gets accumulated in mosquito nets and it becomes difficult to clean even with vacuum cleaners. Only spraying water jet gets the nets cleaner. Thanks for the video! Please make a video on electricity and water saving options in apartments.
these are coated nets so dust can be easily removed by air/vacuum.

Aluminum is highly recyclable..
Infact 75% of all aluminum produce till date is still in use!!
Upvc Windows are better than aluminum windows.

Share about durability and cost advantage. If aluminium premium is competing with very basic PVC then better go aluminium.... what's your take madam.
Also how about temperature stability and fire resistant.
For a bedroom at the back side where I don't get much noise, should I go for UPVC or just aluminum sliding windows of 3 tracks including one Mosquito net.
Look wise, UPVC gives much premium look

During 2007-2008 I've used the UPVC windows in one of the big residential projects in Dubai. These UPVC members are very prone to get cracked. After handing over the project I continued for six months under DLP. During this time I got several complains from the owners about cracks near the corner/joint. Also it was a very expensive material and was NOT VFM.
It's better to go for anodized heavy Aluminum sections. Here this Architect was telling about arresting sound.... for that use better quality gaskets, brush sealing strip and sandwich glass panel (this is vital. Not only it reduces sound, it works for heat barrier also).
