Part 1 of Volume 2 of announcements from The R160 and R143 type trains. All of these where recorded over the course of a year.

Yes , but the Announcement program for the B and D is installed on the r160s and can easily be changed from another route to the B and D. They have it ready encase a B or D train uses an R160

I've been taking the B and D train in The Bronx since I can remember. I never knew there was skip-stop service. I thought B trains ran up to Bedford Park Blvd. local and the D ran express.

Until 1998, the "C" went to Bedford Park Boulevard, while the "B" went to the 168th Street, then the two switched northern terminals.

Is a "Skip-Stop" train basically an express train?
For the J/Z lines, skip-stop literally means every other station (only during rush hours.) For the B train on the Brighton line, it should really say "B express train."
