I’ve been having this strong desire to be just like Jesus and live as He lived and walk as He walked, to the point where I want to confidently and boldly declare that the devil has nothing in me, and I do believe that we won’t always sin, I believe we will overcome sin. But are we always going to be “human” and what I mean by that is although I believe we can overcome sin are we always going to make mistakes, like what if we had a bad thought against someone for a split second, or have unrighteous anger against a situation, can we be completely like Jesus in a sense where we will overcome having bad thoughts even if it’s for a second ? And falling short? Cause I believe Jesus never sinned, not even in His mind. I wanna be like Christ but I’m wondering am I trying to BE Him.
Hi Shabbat Shalom Sister! I believe we can be like JESUS as in walking as he did. He did come to teach us how we should walk as children of GOD. Mathew 5 : 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your father which is in heaven is perfect. I believe as we grow more in the spirit we will grow to be more and more righteous, which allows us to walk as JESUS did. Our bodies will remain the same on earth, though I believe we will have that supernatural and spiritual discernment unlike anything. But first we have to be refined and go through the fire.
