    I don't think you can stress enough just how many variables actually will dictate you to be a practice player. My first year I was looked at to be a new superstar by my coach at my D1 program. I was by far the fastest skater on the team, and probably one of the best stickhandlers, with a solid shot. I became a chemical engineering major though, which resulted in me missing a practice 1 day a week due to labs that my major required. By the end of year one, I was relegated to the practice squad and never left it. To be fair though, I only signed the NLI with that team because of their reputation academically - not how good they were at hockey. I still don't have any regrets.

      You are right. It's very hard to predict.

    What’s your opinion on kimball union day school as a hockey program?

      its top tier. for example adam fantilli attended and then got tendered to the ushl by the steel

    I know you are trying to make a point for the USNDTP players, but if they were the best U18 players in the country and are now NCAA practice players, does that mean the players who were worse than them in junior are now playing NCAA games?
