4:17 bro wdym? That CGI is really good, I do not understand how people can praise movies like Godzilla minus one CGI, when CGI like this (that looks waaaay better) always gets criticized.
YES! I thought it looked good as well, Andy! The Dark Knight Rises was my first superhero midnight movie I ever saw in theater, first live action superhero movie I ever purchased (Batman Mask of the Phantasm was the first I ever purchased overall) and this looks like it might be my favorite since! I'm not saying that The Dark Knight Rises was the best since, I rated it a 7/10, but I liked it! And with Superman..... I liked Superman written by Alan Moore, Mark Waid, Peter Tomasi (it was my favorite run I was buying from DC Rebirth and I had the Superman looking up smiling saying, "Morning" as my wallpaper...it was the most I enjoyed a DC run since Geoff John's Aquaman...I also had Fleischer Superman holding his cape over Lois protecting her from lava and more from that cartoon as my wallpaper ) Paul Dini, Frank Miller (The Dark Knight Returns wasn't my ideal Batman or Superman but back then I thought they were well written compelling characters...I thought it was the best superhero comic I ever read besides Frank Miller's Batman Year One, Gerry Conway's and Marv Wolfman's Batman runs, some of Chris Claremont's X-Men, Stan Lee's Captain America and Spider-man, and Alan Davis' JLA: The Nail), Mark Millar, Jeph Loeb, and... I tried reading Superman comics from the Jerry Siegel Joe Shuster 1938 beginning but was bored in the beginning. However, I liked the 1944 Superman 30 "The Mysterious Mr. Mxyzptlk." It's like the Superman TAS episode "Mxyzpixilated," which is one of my all time favorite tv episodes! Up there with The Wally West Justice League Unlimited "Flash and the Substance" (my favorite DCAU episode!) and Wally West Teen Titans episode "Lightspeed" for fun! And I thought the Zack Snyder Justice League cut was the best live action Superman in movies...and Smallville Clark is my favorite live action Superman overall but I'm hoping this surpassed that! As long as it's relatively clean....I'm stoked to see the James Gunn Superman in the theater if people are hyped! Hope you and your family have a light-filled peaceful joyful blessed Merry Christmas, Andy!
Comic book wise what's more important between Gunn's new Superman selection of the suit or Superman personality?, for example Snyder's boring, platonic and emotionless portrayal of Superman. I choose as more important Superman's personality, I choose the real down to earth, humble, caring and classic Gunn Superman personality!.I care less about esthetics such as clothes, what is important to me is his personality and what Superman is supposed to stands for traditionally! The first time when people saw a stoic, bland and emotionless Henry Cavill wearing Superman's suit they only praised the suit because it was the only recognisable thing linking it to the classic and traditional Superman but as soon as people saw the new trailer with the new Superman people got excited , emotional and drawn to him because they finally got the comic's version of Superman they were wishing and waiting for!
i like how they showed so much to give you a feel for the movie and get you excited but gave away almost nothing about the story
1:44 this shot is where i was sold
color grading and direction definitely screams james gunn and i love it

James Gunn sure knows how to make a great trailer.
Everyones whos hating this trailer is just in denial atp. 😭
Exactly you can’t hate on a teaser😂
Fr like the Snyder fans are only hating on this teaser just because they want something to hate on
Yes. Thank you. Or haters.
1:52 finally not me because ng the only one thinking the name was off. I kinda forgot it was called lex corp , thanks for reminding me that.

Ok
What if I already am 😈
Not too sure about the color grading and cinematography but they can still fix it.
they did it on purpose, it was made to show that superman is the light of hope and not some dark broody bs. and yes it does feel like cw
@@im.deh11 Cw Superman was goat
@@im.deh11CW gave the best Superman tv show ever so at this point it's a compliment
@@Faster_than_light_yo yea, but the show was funded and created by hbo max, the show was only aired in cw
