Just want to clarify that in the UK, a positive credit score doesn't matter. You don't get benefits for multiple credit types and constantly being in debt, but, you can fuck up your credit by having ever been late on payments or rent, having existing loans from college, and your employment history. That said, if your income is subject to fluctuating or you're in a volatile industry, they're going to look much more into the rest of your finances which is probably why it was more impactful for Garnt
Yeah in the UK, it's the underlying credit report which matters, and banks use that data to feed their own algorithms to come to a decision. Credit Scores in the UK are calculated from the credit report, but they are simply a marketing tool to get you to apply for more credit products, so Garnt is wrong.

Not really. I’d say for any non primary account that you aren’t checking super regularly it’s a good idea to set up auto pay because you can get absolutely fucked both credit score and financially if a forgotten expense is left to fester for months. For a primary card I wouldn’t advise it, simply because you should be checking your bank account 2-3 times a week, so you shouldn’t be missing payments on a bank issued credit card if that’s the case.
France: we had the bloodiest revolutions in Europe Everyone: haha cowards white flag in ww2 P.S. Their decision to surrender was the best thing they could do at the time.
So, here in The Netherlands we don't have credit score, so I don't find it weird connor thought they didn't have any. Here the amount of money you can borrow is based on your income / savings. Most people don't tend to buy things with money they don't have, they just save up for it.
It's the same in Poland when it comes to credit score. But sadly the "Most people don't tend to buy things with money they don't have" isn't true here, people buying a house/apartment with a 30 year payment every month is normal.
@@aleksiejlublov7995 I guess mortgages are a thing here too, but its always based on your income, what you can afford, you can't get more. so it's not an issue for most
The UK banks do check your credit score but it's one of many factors considered in granting a mortgage lol. The major check for mortgages in the UK is if you can realistically handle a massive spike in mortgage rate e.g. before the most recent one they checked if you could handle a 6% APR, now I think it's at 9%-10% for affordability checks.

The way lud said “and then I can drive on the highway” had me rolling. They let me take the eye test once with glasses and then once without so I could pass it and not have the little note on my license that I need glasses. Ahh the good old u s of a.
it's so weird seeing an episode on the Yard set where no one is complaining about Ludwig
7:45 that's how you know you're chilling.
When you have your cards on autopay
Bro for some reason Joey gives such a high Aiden energy in this episode that i think the room might be haunted. Even his voice pitch seems different.
Jet Lag is working my dude over I bet.
@@Ducaso He's obviously baked.
@@aleksiejlublov7995If trash taste wasn't based in japan, Joey would be high for every episode and it would be a better podcast for that reason
"Third tower has been hit" is insanely funny
everytime garnt asked 'do you have a license for that?" is so funny to me
I came into this episode to listen to usual tt and went out excited for Australia and Thai specials! hopefully that Wales one can also be filmed!
The seating makes so much sense based off the yard
joey said like 3 words in this ep, dudes just vibin'
That's why I like Ludwig, he knows what part of Dragon Ball is best.
Yeah absolutely the best part by far
France: we’ve won the most battles in history
Everyone: if you lose in the championship none of it matters
France: we had the bloodiest revolutions in Europe
Everyone: haha cowards white flag in ww2
P.S. Their decision to surrender was the best thing they could do at the time.
Mogul mail punching the air rn
the Ludwig episodes are so goated lmafo
I like how they talked about repeating stories and then Lud Immediately re-told the story about his Japanese teacher
1:18:30 as a person who takes about an hour before flights, the adrenaline is my main motivation
you're crazy dawg 😂
The yard set with trash taste BG music threw my head for a loop 😂😂
35:48 I knew a guy like that too. An unfortunate dude who got rear-ended by a car and launched into a truck transporting rebar and got impaled by it
Ludwig really should've hit the Ford guy with, "and you should stop compensating"
I can't believe how little Ludwig seemingly understands credit score when he's a millionaire. I hope he's studied up!
I'm not a milionaire and i barely understand it because i have never needed it.
Very cool that Ludwig had all three of the Trash Taste Guys simultaneously on the Ludwig podcast.
@@aleksiejlublov7995 I guess mortgages are a thing here too, but its always based on your income, what you can afford, you can't get more. so it's not an issue for most
Joey naming famous Australians, his first 2 picks, Mel Gibson "born in Australia" and Russell Crowe were born in America and New Zealand lol
Funny thing, outside of maybe Hugh Jackman people won't be able to name Australian actors. An MAYBE Margot Robbie.
@@aleksiejlublov7995 Kylie Minogue
how are the boys learning about ludwigs chest hole in this episode, surely connor, ludwigs secret japanese lover, has felt it
Hey look Connor's boyfriend is back🗣️
The UK banks do check your credit score but it's one of many factors considered in granting a mortgage lol. The major check for mortgages in the UK is if you can realistically handle a massive spike in mortgage rate e.g. before the most recent one they checked if you could handle a 6% APR, now I think it's at 9%-10% for affordability checks.
I need to watch the podcast more often. I might have to start again. I've listened to most of them on hikes, but they are a fun watch.
Lisa from BLACKPINK is Thai, she might even rival Tony Jaa in popularity
Ludwig should dispute/ask to remove the card with the bad payment history off his CBR. It'll literally save him
Like he could do credit repair or just use Experian to remove it
God damn he went from Ludwig with Ludlegs
58:15 i mean Joey forgetting about Steve Irwin...
Hey, I had Pectus Excavatum and I had a the bar surgery. I just got it removed a year ago after having it installed for 4 years. If anyone is wondering, the pain is the equivalent of having 4 ribs broken and I couldn't lift either of my arms for 4 months. For specially for me, I had complications so I had even more fun the the typical person.
It was a cool party trick though showing people my x-rays, because they always start to freak-out.
just out of curiousity, have you had broken ribs otherwise to compare against?
@@makaron369 No, but I did broke my arm after playing basketball when I was a kid (The operation was when I was 14 and I broke my arm when I was 10.) I am over exaggerating a little bit because with an operation your pain is under control to some extent. For example, they use inserted an epidural during my stay in the hospital and gave me painkillers. That being said, I was a dumb 14 year old and I hated the feel of the painkillers, so I decided to raw dawg it and be in pain for like 2 months.
lmao fair enough, well my condolences anyways
Gareth Bale: Wales, Golf, Madrid, in that order.
2:11:00 wait did they just casually spoil the incoming specials which are a Australia one and a Thailand one? LETS GOOOO
I did not expect them to talk about CHURNING POINTS 😂😂
The set really puts into perspective how tall garnt is 😂
He's like in the 99th percentile when it comes to Thai males' height. I've wondered whether he has some non-Thai ancestry in him or he's just an anomaly.
@@kairos_fluent That's something I've wondered too
I don't want to put people into stereotypes like Asian people are short and white people are tall
But from the stories I've heard so far from Garnt in the podcast, i don't get the impression that he was a sports kid at all
My guess is that his dad and his mum must be tall or at least just a bit more than the average Thai person then it all comes down to his nutrition and sleep schedule when he was still growing
Like how the hell have the boys not talked about this. This is a really interesting topic
"I have a 1000 dollar spending limit."
"Which means you can't buy anything."
LMAO
The thought of gamers being so determined to touch grass without leaving the house is so funny to me having a whole backyard setup indoors
Celtics unite. I did piano but my cousins all did harp + other irish instruments and even got to travel to ireland to play.
Was not expecting a 2018 flashback in the 1st 10 seconds 😳 (ngl I had Ludwig's mentality and I started asking my cousin where the nearest bomb shelter was and what supplies we had)
Banger episode, Joey barely intervened
DB > Z. I wholeheartedly agree with Ludwig.
Watching this while the mr.beast fraud is happening feels pretty awkward
yep
Chris, Ludwig and Pete really are the trifecta of best Trash Taste guests
