I like the medium or long, not into the surfy fluttering of short decays, more into the spacey longer decays, sounds a bit more depressing in a good way. That riff at 2:59 is closest to my style of playing and I think that's where the medium and long really sounds awesome.
these are great videos thanks for doing them! 2 spring obviously but what would be the closest to a vintage fender tank... blackface and early silver face... It sounds to me like a 2 spring short is the what those would be basically?

I purchased the long decay for my Crate GX2200H and I have to raise the reverb knob to 10 just to barely even hear it. Could this possibly be a result of a defective tank?
I have a Peavey backstage chorus amplifier one of the springs have came loose it's missing the little clip inside the piece of metal tubing on one side what can I do to repair that?
I'm trying to decide between a Mod or Accutronics tank for my Monoprice 15w. Currently it has a no name TPSB2EB2C1B, 600 in/2250 out. And it sucks. A lot. The reverb lasts no time at all and is about half of what I expected. At 10, it sounds like what I expected it to be like at 5.
I'm playing a Pathfinder 15R with a _one-spring_ reverb.

Today lesson for me. Many many thanks for these GREAT videos!
I put a long delay in my AC30 and use a digital reverb pedal for everything else. Best of both worlds.
Great video thanks.
I think I like the short the best
Hi Tom interesting how do the compare, electronic v tank ?

Probably wrong ohm on tank

Short decay by a mile!
Can it be attached with my Amp used for Electric Steel Guitar ?
I think short is better for rocknroll , thanks

working on it
Which tank did you end up going with? I'd love to do this mod.
Can it be used for Electric Steel Guitar ?
Santos and Johnny specifically said "no."
U got a reverb that go in amp that do all three , and run a foot switch with it ,,, that would be cool 👶🎤🙏
