As a former accordion owner & player I can say that they can be worth $100's even thousands of $$$. Flea market may not be best place to sell it for good price. I'd say Market Place or even pawn shop that has musical instruments. Hope you get good $$$ for your special find. Thanks for great video.
Hi Rene, You may want to first try calling a local music store, if you have one, and telling them what you have and want to sell. I had one for sale in my antique mall space for 6 months, priced at $75....no bites. When I talked to our local music store owner, he knew someone who traded me a $100 bill for it, no problem. The flea market crowd might not appreciate it. Accordions are a very specific sell. I wish you good picking!
Here in Sweden a company selling radios advertised a radio with accordion filter, muted when there was accordion music playing. It was a April’s fool prank but showed the sentiments of 1970s and accordion music, The quote from Tom Waits was used by a very famous Swedish composer of classical music in the early 70s. 😂
Go early AM for prime picking. Know trash schedules. Get an older cheap minivan with no rear seats. Write down street addresses that are FOR SALE. And keep an eye on them. Reach out to realtors and offer low price/ free clean - outs of attics or basements. Thanks for all your videos.
Been following you from almost your channel's start. Things I LOVE about channel: Your giggle/laugh🙂 Your enthusiasm😄 Your positive outlook 😇 Of course, the goodies!🪗 Happy hunting stay hydrated!
WOW!!!! Boy did you score.....Accordion made me laugh...My cousin as a kid had to take classes ....Every family gathering he had to play...We had to listen to hours of polka music....Once he was done we'd sneak off and listen to Led Zeppelin.....
Renee!!! Thanks for taking us along!!! I appreciate you! What a surprise finding that accordion was so amazing! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Hey Renee. WOW! I can not believe you found an accordion 🪗 in the suitcase. That was a great find. But to find wine glasses 🥂🍷 in the trash is a steal. God Bless you Renee. Yes, please let us know how much you got for the he accordion 🪗. Take care. Mari'a. ❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍👍🪗🪗🍷🥂🍷🥂🌃💙💙💙💙
Accordion music : Love it or hate it. I loved the timing of your "Holy crap" as you opened the accordion case. My sentiments exactly. (I'm just being rotten, I couldn't resist your timing).
Hit or miss...this time you were lucky enough to find a whole bunch of neat stuff in the trash. 👍The accordion might generate some hundred bucks, if it still works and got a good brand like Hohner or something similar. Just try it out and don´t sell it for a whopping hundred bucks or less at the flea market ! The water color painting looked like a Dutch scenery made by a very talented artist, my estimate would be fifty/eighty bucks. Same with the late medieval guy on the horse, I would say fifty bucks. Seems that you got into a more wealthy Zip Code this time, and I think your luck has definitely changed now ! 🤞 Greets from GER, U.
I'll be keeping an eye out on that house, for sure! Our cleanout guy Tony is going to take the accordion to the market and see what his musical instrument guys offer. He is able to get more money than I would, so we'll see what he brings in! He liked the look of it as well, so hopefully the buyers will too! Perhaps a Picasso will make its' way to the curb next! Can you imagine?!
@@PaperandMoose Not necessarily a Picasso, but an original Norman Rockwell would do it as well ! Concerning the accordion, it all depends if it´s still completely intact or got some damages, fingers crossed !
When you were opening that case, I was thinking "It'll be a typewriter!" Nope. Nice finds, can't believe people throw out things like that and nice framed pictures. Yeesh!
Accordion players are found around me for Polka music. There are a LOT of Polish people who listen and Polka every week!! I live in western New York State (think Buffalo but cities and suburbs all around so do some Polka research in you're area). You might get a better price if you advertise in a newspaper ad.
Renee, If I remember correctly from my two years in Bethlehem, there's a really fine music store in Nazareth that might be able to help you with the accordian. Keep that trash picking going. Tomorrow's a holiday so no trash picking but Tuesday my favorite neighborhood will have their trash out and I'll be moving up and down the roads. I find the best stuff there
That was a good pick up. The garment rack would help at the flea market to use or sell. Would love to see you and Taco Stacks do a dumpster dive together video once a week. Love your hair! TFS
Renee I have to say I know a couple of people that still put shine in them jugs and I got to say your hair is really looking good . and you seem to have a lot energy keep it girl love the channel 😊
Thiz was great! I l o ved the jugs and the music box. My mom had a small one. I dont know what ever happened to it. She could play it but never did. Your hair is growing so fast. It's pretty. I love you! Stay safe and healthy. 😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️👶
Renee, when I took the back of some of my in-laws framed pictures the framer in the early 40's used movie posters! The framer had cut them in half grrr! But, imagine some big framed photos might have a complete movie poster behind it!
I’d look up the Spode glasses. Their line of dishes, linens aren’t cheep. I’m so glad to see you’re trash picking. I’m sending good juju for you to find some cool vintage clothes, retro toys. I’ve got to go back & watch some of your older videos when you found all the trash bags with. Clothes! Thanks for taking us along!😊 I wrote this right after you found the glasses, then I finished the video 😅
Great finds I’ve been buying my daughter a few pieces of Spode. She likes Spode so glad you found them to save them and the other thing oh my goodness, the accordion and the old jugs I have quite a few jugs I can’t believe somebody set them out for the trash. When you went to those I could not believe my eyes. You saved a lot of good things from the trash this time even all the pictures were awesome. I think you did great great great anyway good video catching on your next one hopefully thanks bye
I’ve been meaning to tell you I love your long hair! Congratulations on the excellent trash find. You worked hard and waited long for that. Best of luck on the next trash bag house find 🏡
That’s crazy! A scrapper I watch (who is based in Houston, TX) just found a dumpster with multiple accordion parts and one complete instrument. With Zydeco and Tejano popular in that portion of the state, it’s not that unusual of a find, but a very unexpected one! Congrats on your find and I Hope Weird Al is watching!
Rene, if you are near suburbs, watch for community or subdivision sales. That areas next trash day is where you want to be. REMEMBER just cuz it's yard sale leftovers, doesn't necessarily mean no one wanted items.some ppl only have time for 1 day sale, or maybe they priced too high, or bad weather not enough shoppers. All sorts of reasons. Sometimes it's farther or a pain to donate, so easier to haul to curb. Also watch apt complexes, where there are quick move outs and evictions. Use caution in that situation.I can imagine ppl coming home to see their stuff on curb, and Rene there helping herself!😮
Your area and the surrounding areas have such great trash and ALOT of it..I’m amazed at the amount of stuff each house will put out..how fun..great score on the Spode glasses and the accordion..happy trash hunting Renee
Congratulations! I am so happy that you finally had a good trash picking hunt! Nothing people put into their trash surprises me very much but the accordion did shock me! I'll bet Dad was in a polka band and they were sick of moving it everywhere ther moved for the last 30 years so in the trash it went! Really I can't think why anyone would throw it away and not donat it a community band or something! Oh well, your gain! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
I roll with laughter when ever I see an accordian. My sister told me in her adult years that she had always wanted one and to learn to play one. You'd have to been raised with her to know what a clutz she is, no way she could pull that off.
I look for you each day , you’re like a special friend , but we have never met! I like when you find the Christmas elves you know, the old ones! I keep mine out year round!
Wow what a surprise find today, Renee. The jugs were a great find too. Beat Taco Stacks to those for sure. Hopefully your lucky had changed. Thanks for sharing. Ready for the next adventure!
Great finds. Walter Ostanek, accordion & polka king from Waterloo Ontario (see him on UA-cam), is who I think of with those instruments. He was also always a part of Octoberfest in KW & had a TV program called Polka Time. The one you have, was it missing the straps? If yes, may have been a parts unit. Should find someone who plays to assess it. Should make trash picking videos over a long time and wrap them together. Be toque & mittens at start and T shirt latter on, as well as all the hair & glasses changes. 👍👍
Must be the season for getting rid of your accordions! I was watching another UA-camr, Mike the Scavenger, and he found a slew of accordions in one place. Almost all of his were all taken apart and they were older than dirt! There was only one still intact, it was an 1918 one. Just weird, then watching you, find the one. 🤷🏼♀️. ✌🏼❤️
Hi Rene Hope you get some good money for your finds. Enjoy watching your videos and like when you have your flea market videos wish I could go to the Tote Mans he's got so much neat stuff. Have a good day and thanks for sharing.

Great idea! 😊
Someone with Spode Christmas tree dishes will appreciate those glasses.😊
dd
Those spode glasses are a really nice find 😊
As Tom Waits says: a gentleman is a person who can play the accordion, but doesn't! Lol😂
🤣

Of course, the goodies!🪗
Happy hunting stay hydrated!
I remember carrying my 120 base accordion. They’re not light! Glad you had a good day🤗🤗💖🦋
Great finds Renee. Be safe out there trash picking❤❤❤
WOW!!!! Boy did you score.....Accordion made me laugh...My cousin as a kid had to take classes ....Every family gathering he had to play...We had to listen to hours of polka music....Once he was done we'd sneak off and listen to Led Zeppelin.....
Too bad your cousin didn't learn to play any Led Zeppelin songs on the accordion. He would have had his own niche, that's for sure!
“Timing is everything in regards to trash picking.” How true!
Timing is everything in regards to *everything*! ;-)
Mamas got a brand new squeezebox 😎👍🎼
Renee!!! Thanks for taking us along!!! I appreciate you! What a surprise finding that accordion was so amazing! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!

Unused, still in the box, $80 price tag wine glasses! Now I just need a bottle of wine! Hope all is well, Maria!
The man on a horse looks like it could be a charcoal drawing. Nice assortment of treasures.
Take the accordion to a Music Store. They could tell you about it.
OMG! That accordion! I'm so envious! What a great find!
Accordion music : Love it or hate it. I loved the timing of your "Holy crap" as you opened the accordion case. My sentiments exactly. (I'm just being rotten, I couldn't resist your timing).
You truly scored today Renee! I also want to say how lovely you look with your hair down’! So pretty! Tyfs!

Polka is not Polish music.
Paper and Moose very good video. God bless your channel.
Hi Renee!!! Great finds!! Love that artwork!!! Love your hair and those GLASSES!!!!
My husband plays the accordion . This looks lovely but the bellows, guts of it could be shot. What an amazing find!
Renee, If I remember correctly from my two years in Bethlehem, there's a really fine music store in Nazareth that might be able to help you with the accordian. Keep that trash picking going. Spode Christmas pieces are not cheap...good finds today.
When I saw the price tag of $80 on the one box, wow!
I’m so happy, you saved that beautiful accordion from the trash!!
Way cool finds !!Betsy Ross is my ancestor !!
Forget the flea market. I'd find a music shop and have it apprised. Or someone that plays, like a polka band popular in. PA. Just don't give it away.
Hey rene my dear old dad played the one of those you should get good money for it well done thank you for sharing ❤
hi Renee, Be careful at night, lots of crazyes out there.
That was a good pick up. The garment rack would help at the flea market to use or sell. Would love to see you and Taco Stacks do a dumpster dive together video once a week. Love your hair! TFS
Didn't realize you did trash picking? Good finds! 💰👍🛍🌟🥳
Yahoo! A great trash haul! Maybe there is another garbage bag house just waiting for you.😊
Renee I have to say I know a couple of people that still put shine in them jugs and I got to say your hair is really looking good . and you seem to have a lot energy keep it girl love the channel 😊

The guy on the horse is painted with Guache. Nice!
Thank you for the info!
Hi miss Rene ...!!! Congratulations 🎉🎉👏🎉🎉🎉 found good treasure...
Renee, when I took the back of some of my in-laws framed pictures the framer in the early 40's used movie posters! The framer had cut them in half grrr! But, imagine some big framed photos might have a complete movie poster behind it!
Ugh..."What should we use as the backing? I know - this 1943 movie poster!"
I’d look up the Spode glasses. Their line of dishes, linens aren’t cheep. I’m so glad to see you’re trash picking. I’m sending good juju for you to find some cool vintage clothes, retro toys. You should ask $200 for the accordion and take an offer. Don’t cheat yourself! That is a high-end brand.
Great trash finds!! Keep posted what sells
And thank you for saving these items from the landfills
Love finding items to it all the time
Stay cool pickin, hot here in Texas

Fantastic finds!!!!! I hope you can find more. I miss the trash bag finds too!!
I’ve been meaning to tell you I love your long hair! Congratulations on the excellent trash find. You worked hard and waited long for that. Best of luck on the next trash bag house find 🏡

Must be the time of year to throw out accordions! So strange, but one man's trash is definitely another's treasure!
The watercolor windmill looks very dutch

Great finds! The accordion is a beauty. You might need to call around some music places to find a good buyer.
Your area and the surrounding areas have such great trash and ALOT of it..I’m amazed at the amount of stuff each house will put out..how fun..great score on the Spode glasses and the accordion..happy trash hunting Renee
That's some pretty random but good stuff. 😊❤🐨
I'm glad you could find some good items in the trash finally. Thanks for another enjoyable video. Take care and God Bless 🥰

Love that Sparkle in your Beautiful EYES when you get excited about finding something special 🌹
Great finds. The Betsy Ross needlepoint took a lot of work, though it did not look topnotch.
An accordion, wow.
@elainelear4982 Not needle point. It's crewel. Two different art forms.
Love the art work with the windmills!!
Great items 🎉accordion looks great ,glass drinkers look nice
Nice find there Renee.
Great video and by the way I seen you and thought OOOH I have Tootsie rolls!! LOL
Nice finds today. Good quality.great video.

I loved the Trash bag house!!!
I look for you each day , you’re like a special friend , but we have never met! I like when you find the Christmas elves you know, the old ones! I keep mine out year round!
Bravo oh!❤🎉 Great stuff
My favorite - trash picking! You never know what you are going to find and boy did you find some goodies! More trash picking videos please!
Even as a shelf piece that's awesome. Better than going to the landfill x 1000. Happy you found/ saved it and the other stuff.
Interesting trash finds. Love the accordion and the Betsy Ross needlepoint. Wish you had shown us a close up of that.
Wow what a surprise find today, Renee. The jugs were a great find too. Beat Taco Stacks to those for sure.
Hopefully your lucky had changed. Thanks for sharing. Ready for the next adventure!
Excellent video, my wife and I love you, and yes we are subscribed to you.🙂
The luck is upon you. Very cool finds. It's all about timing and how often you go.
I found a vintage marching band drum sitting in the alley once. Boy was I surprised and stunned that the people didn't donate it somewhere!
Great finds. Walter Ostanek, accordion & polka king from Waterloo Ontario (see him on UA-cam), is who I think of with those instruments. Love the jugs you found. The accordion was a good find.
Great find,🎹🎹🎹🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼💲💲💲👏👏🤠🇬🇧

Good finds...yes,it's been a while...🥰🥰
Great finds! Thanks for bringing back the trash!😊
yipee for trash picking. Yes I thought the same thing. Be careful out there in the dark!
The knight on horse i could see you getting 30 for painting it has a nice look very popular I could see it fitting in A Renaissance fair
I like the watercolor paintings
Pretty upscale picking!! ❤
Wow your hair looks fabulous, haven't watched your channel for a while 😊
Really like the new hair style. It becomes you. Like that watercolor art too.
The guy on a horse painting has a tarot card feel to me
I can see that now that you mention it!
That accordion is a really great find. Good job.
Wow! What a mix of cool stuff. 😊
My husband's cousin plays the accordion. That's a huge fine, literally.
Hey Renee’so glad to see you back.
WOW! What a find!
Oh what fun! So happy you got those things. Don't undersell the art work!
Must be the season for getting rid of your accordions! I was watching another UA-camr, Mike the Scavenger, and he found a slew of accordions in one place. I always put the "good stuff" out days before trash day. 😊
Like your new eyeglasses, Renee. Think of this pick as "Christmas in July."
Hi Rene Hope you get some good money for your finds. Enjoy watching your videos and like when you have your flea market videos wish I could go to the Tote Mans he's got so much neat stuff. Have a good day and thanks for sharing.
Fun finds 🎼😀
Awesome finds trash picking !!! Better than cleanouts hard work!! LoL.
I love your t-shirt. Great picture for watercolor reference photo.
I haven't watched in a minute. You're growing out your hair....pretty! great score on the accordion!
