I forgot to include the footage of finding the badminton set, but don't you forget to subscribe to the Channel! This way you'll always be in the know when a new video comes out!
Thank you for taking us along for trash pick up. It is very interesting what you find in those garbage bags. You seem to get lucky on your finds, if it were me I would run into every mean critter on this planet and probably find the most irritating people I could find. My luck is not good but thank goodness your luck is excellent. Do you ever find vintage antique jewelry or pins? ,I'm glad you take us along when you are out doing your thing. Probably makes you feel like you are not alone and you have lots if people who care about you and your safety.
Renee I am crossing my fingers and hoping your knowledge, enthusiasm and passion will seize the day and that you will never have to work for anyone but yourself ever again. Recently I have stopped mailing items to creators because since the election when post offices were gutted, three parcels I have sent out to the US have gone AWOL. I look for other ways to support my favorite UA-camrs. I check out your Etsy constantly but I suspect if you find the things I collect you may not use them or toss them though you tossing anything would be a strange thing. I collect fishing advertising. Labels, folders, any paper advertising. If it shows up on Etsy I will buy it. Thank you and all the best to you.
As you were reading off the titles of the cassettes, I was thinking to myself....yup, saw them and them and them....etc. You brought back some good memories.
How exciting to find musical treasures. That is awesome! Many people still listen to cassettes. When you recognize the songs, they are even more exciting.
We recently moved and down sized even after giving a lot of stuff to Salvation Army we had a yard full of stuff. We posted to Facebook and our neighborhood that we had free stuff. We had a lot of stuff taken. It worked well for us we didn’t want to send anything we didn’t have to to the dump.
Yea!! also... you are so sweet about finding the flag. I'm not a super patriot or anything, having left the US as a child, but I can't help but think of my pops who served the US military for over 20 years, starting with the Merchant Marines during WW2.
Oh my, this brought me back to when my kids were growing up. I was the quintessential rocknroll momma. On Saturday mornings we would dance around the house doing our chores laughing and having our own party. Thoughts were the tunes we rocked to. I still have most of the cassettes, 8 track tapes plus a bunch of albums. I am not going to get rid of any of them. GREAT SCORE!
Mary music does help the chores be fun and go so much faster… in the 90’s I would play The Go Go’s Vacation album to clean the house and I noticed my dog would go wait by the front door….. lol she associated that album with visitors cause that was when I would clean 😂
Most of those baseball cards are of very good/famous players. I have no idea of the value because you didn't mention who made them, but it wouldn't hurt to look them up. Thank you for being so respectful of that flag. It's a shame more people aren't.
You did good! You have about 100 dollars worth in cassettes, some of the cassettes go for some good money too, specially rock bands, and about the floppy disc, keep an eye for the next trash day on that house because the computer for that floppy disk may be discarded next and that'll be great $$$!😁There nothing like "trash" picking, I call it RESCUE.😁
Most of that music is what I still listen to. Am a 70s baby with a sister 5 years older so 80s music was huge in my life (folk & jazz are still my favs though). The cases will probably sell well as they look like they are in great condition. What a fun nostalgic adventure :)
This was so awesome! I was born in 55 but went through the eighties with our kids. We would have so much fun dancing with the tv and radio. Wow!! I would probably want to keep all of those. I have a bunch can't wait to drag them all out. We bought one them old looking things that play albums, cassettes and CDs. Too bad it doesn't play 8 tracks. So exciting. Thanks for the memories again! ❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞💐🎶🎶🐦🐦🐦✌️👶
Love your enthusiasm! Going through the cassettes. Nice to see the rescue of good vintage music, not just someone's non discript instrumental music tapes.
I think that the clear bowl from the beginning of this is called Candelwick. Many years ago, it was quite an expensive series of clear ware. I was so glad to see you save it.
The trapper keepers I'm thinking of are the bigger plastic velcro ones and I've seen recently that they are in demand. Great cassette tape haul! Glad you're thinking of Taco about those heavy brake thingies, so nice of you! And thanks especially for honoring the flag!
Wow, so many memories you just brought up for me! I was in high school when all of those cassette tapes were just out. When you pulled out that floppy disk, I started laughing out loud! I remember those in Computer programming class! I never understood what that class was all about, rofl. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
MerryScraps: Memory Lane 2: just last week I was cleaning out the closet in our spare bedroom and found a plastic floppy disk storage box full of my son's old floppy disks that went to his Commodore 64 back in the 1980s. I could not throw them away, and put it back into the closet.
I took a programming class in high school (1980). I was totally convinced the class met secretly without me and learned all kind of great things because I didn’t understand any of it!
I had an eight track of ZZtop. Cheap Trick was from my hometown, Rockford, IL. These were definitely my time period. Cool find. We have a bunch of cassettes but nothing to play them on.
Yeah. I have an 03 Buick with only 72,000 miles total. I'm keeping it until the wheels fall off. It still runs like new. Mine also plays CD and Cassette tapes. Love it.
Hi Renee. I still have some of my tapes. But I listen to my phone. UA-cam music, it feels good to listen to different music. You did good Renee. God Bless you and have fun listening to the 80s, and 90s. Stay safe. Maria.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💜💙💜💗🧡💛💗💜💚💛🌸🌺🌺
So much fun. I would go through each one of the folders more thoroughly to male sure their aren’t any more baseball cards. Oh my I would love all of those cassette tapes. Lol. The 80s was my teenage years. I remember everyone of those. Those are awesome. Stay safe and God Bless
I know all of those artists!! Same years as when my boys were heavy into music and MTV!! Later, with the CD's, my son threw out all of his extra ones instead of selling them. He said "but, MOM, you only get $1 apiece for them!" Yeah, he had 1,000s of them!!
Jackpot with the cassette tapes Renee! When you pulled out “Stand by me” I was thrilled. The movie and music was an all time favourite for our family and even today we still use some lines from the movie when we are talking. Those tapes are great with so many great groups and single singers, great music. Have fun listening ❤️🇦🇺🦘xxx
Hello Renee. I want to Thank You for taking care of our Flag in the proper way. I’m sure the people who threw it away didn’t think about it. Those cassettes are so freaking cool. Ozzy Kiss Boston and so much more . My German Shepherd was named after Ozzy Osbourne. She was a girl but before I realized she was I had gave her the name and because of how she was I couldn’t change her name it was her . It fit. Great trash finds . Stay safe and well enjoy your day.☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖😻😻😻😻😻💯💯💯💯💯

Your trash is way better than our trash. I did find a blanket saddle recently though. You may need a van or a truck as time goes on. Hopefully more people do their spring cleaning!!

You just listed my entire childhood in cassette form. The 1980s was the best decade in my opinion. Excellent find my friend.
I agree, I loved the 80s and think back to that time period quite often. Wish I could relive just a day or two again!
Wow..you hit the treasure trove of 80s cassettes. Mind boggling what people get rid of. Plus those cases must be worth a little something.
The tapes are all in alphabetical order. You hit the jackpot. How could anybody throw away all those tapes?
They probably rebought all of them on CD and on download over the years.
When you found the Mr.Mister cassette tape, I almost started crying. I named my cat Mr. Mister almost 15yrs ago and he passed away almost 2 yrs ago😥
🙏🙏🙏🥰
Love that cassette tape collection you found. All my favorite songs 🎵❤. So lucky!
