This video was great. Would have never figured this out on my own. Watched one of your other videos and followed it step by step. Watched it twice before getting on the keyboard.
Can these performances on Korg Nautilus scenes arps and drums be recorded to the sequencer, btw thank you for your videos. I have been searching and have not found any reference regarding scene sequence on the Nauti Korg. Thanks again !
VERY cool that you figured out how to make these scenes work in a way I don't think they were initially intended. And yeah, 4 scenes is lame.. but that's the price for the less expensive Nautilus vs Fantom, etc.
I like the Nauti sounds, better than Roland. However some sounds from Roland are exceptional, that's mostly taste, they all have something great to offer
Thank you for the video. Can this technique be used to ADD sounds on top of each other - so scene 1 is a piano and scene 2 is the piano strings added? Or would that be a scenario for a switch button? (any way to do this with a footpedal?)
Hi- Can you set the ARP to honor the combi part note range ? It is triggering even when I am out of the range I designated for the timbre in the combi. I want to only trigger a specific sound but also be able to play the sound from the keyboard when not using the ARP. Thanks Adam
Thought I was starting to get to grips with mine, but a months lay off and I seem to have forgotten more than I knew. Followed the video to build a Tom Sawyer combi from the new sounds recently purchased in Korgs Xmas sale. Used SO13, SO14 and DO44 for good measure and generated a combi at H001, but otherwise replicated the process in the video. No sound at the end of it. Any ideas?
In most cases yes but because of necessity due to the smaller screen and the lack of a number pad, buttons and sliders. Certainly more straightforward than setting up Karma Scenes.
Nice job! Please keep making clips like this... very helpful!
More to come!

Glad it helped!
Superb. Got my nautilus yesterday. Already making scenes with your assistance.
can you make a video on how to create drum pattern and save them on usb or save them on a empty drum pattern
Thanks for the video ..great for live switching patches
Great info, thanks!
So you can go to next scene using the Channel + Midi Message?
Great video!!
Would you show us how to create new style with korg nautilus

Yes, absolutely.
@@narfsounds how briefly, I have tried to this, and hsve not found the way. Can you refer me to a video or tutorial. Thank you !

Yes it can definitely do that.
Hi Francis . Can you show me how to adjust drum volume in setlist nautilus. Please.
Hey Narf: Is it possible to assign the scene buttons to a nanoKontrol? Not a big fan of using the screen for scene changes.
Unfortunately it's not a MIDI CC that can be assigned on the nanoKontrol.
hi sir can tell what sound preset you used for all the sound thanks
No presets, these are custom programmed sounds. They’re available at www.narfsounds.com/nautilus
How to switch individual voice Octave in combi mode
In korg Nautilus
Do the sounds cut off when switching scenes?
No, it’s seamless.
how to setup different drum tracks for each scene? in combination mode
So, you only get 4 scenes then? Seems like a strange limitation as the MoDX has like 8 and the Fantom has 16 keyboard switch groups...
On top of the scenes, it gives you 2 more buttons that work exactly like the Fantom's Switch Group function.
You could always switch between the 16 timbre slots in a combi using solo (exclusive).
@@narfsounds "On top of the scenes, it gives you 2 more buttons that work exactly like the Fantom's Switch Group function." What kind of buttons???

Timbre Zone Bypass :-)

Its coming back to me now, something about bank H: Repeated the process in bank D, works fine.
Can you change scenes with the foot pedal? How?
You can't, there's no cc message associated with it
@@narfsounds thanks! I thought so , but could come very handy for live performances
I totally agree!
Unfortunately same as modx and montage where we can’t change scenes by foot switch
You can use a midi switch pedal to switch scenes on the Montage and MODX.
Can you splitthe keyboard on a scene
Yes
It´s a shame that you cant use same timbre for different scenes
Yes you can.
@@narfsounds but if each scene has its own midi channel how can I make a timbre to be available for two different scenes ?
The interface is a fresh breath compared to the kronos
