Purchased my slavia top variant in April 9000km done. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will recommend to those who are looking for new sedan - pros - You get the best handling experience in this car at this price , Performance is top notch,( I would recommend 95 octane) for better performance and longer engine life . I have driven it in almost every terrain and i can say fuel economy is very good. One thing i want to add is maintenance - Regular maintenance is very important here (my first service is at 15000/1year) but i went for checkup at 6000 km and will go again at 11000km this has helped me alot regular check ups are must. [ About AC Issue - their is nothing wrong with AC in this car only thing that causes this problem is that AC is not tuned well for Indian climate once tuned or updated you will not face any problem ] . This cars looks and feels very premium in order to protect its gloss and paint I recommend a good quality PPF or Graphene for glossy look but do your research well before applying.

Start karne pe gaadi higher rpm me rehti. Rpm down hone ke baad agar gear daalke release karoge toh agressively move nahi karegi. It is suggested to move your vehicle after the start when the rpm gets down. This will even keep life of your engine longer. Rest I agree with your points completely. It is actually a mini audi that might feel little less premium then audi. It is still premium in hanlding, gear shifts. If you are buying a Torque Convertor 1 litre the lag is canceled. My driver side window issue is removed completely

It depends on your requirements sir. Both cars are from different segments. Slavia offers: big boot space, more leg room, better handling on highways, specious cabin Kushaq offers: higher ground clearance, sporty looks, better handling on rough roads. Performance wise both are almost same

Its a best package in that price range bro, but honestly there are very less real life reviews available, it's a new product can't comment on this now... however it's a same 1.0 engine and most of the materials are also same as slavia and kushaq, I am sure it will give u better driving experience and safety than its rivals
Let me sound a warning. All VW-Skoda Cars with MT Gearbox offers Clutch with deep & springy travel (Hard press) & Gear Shifting is also not as silken smooth & short shifts as Japanese or Korean Cars. VW-Skoda are good with Auto Gearbox TC or DSG. That's the reason why most MT Gearbox Cars suffers from Regular 20-30,000 kms. Clutch Plate Replacements which costs you approx.₹25,000. Many VW-Skoda MT Owners had to replace Clutch Plate in under 5,000 kms.

I have my eyes on used Crysta inova but theres news about banning diesel by 2027

So in apple to apple comparison after 50000 kms Skoda needs only 3 service whereas Hyundai,Honda,maruti,tata, M&M will need 5 services, comparatively you will find Skoda cheaper in 5 years run. Yes Parts are expensive compared to rivals Take maintenance package and 2 years extended warranty you are sorted for 6 years, you can negotiate with dealer and get EW and Service package with purchase price itself Colour: candy white and brilliant silver will be good to maintain in dusty location, Lava blue, Dark grey,matte colours needs daily maintenance otherwise it looks very dirty....if u are fond of colors crystal blue is better choice....in short go for light shades

Nice Video Bro, I liked poin to point explanation given, Jus wanna highlight one major issue , about Burning of clutch plates in MT, I hav seen many owners comments, there is thread on FB as well, that they had to change therir clutch plates within 10k -15k KM, n since its wear n tear part not covered in warranty and costing goes with labor around 40k -50k INR. would you provide your expert insights on the same, would be really helpful
Haven't observed anything like that, there is a sound of suspension which is common in all VW group cars u will only notice it at lower speed with windows open
U will feel slight vibration while moving your vehicle on 1st gear and while in reverse gear...but it not much...it's all due to aggressive tuning of 1.0 ATs

I drive a 1.5 DSG Slavia, 6000 km done. Can't say rattling, but squeaks here and there from the dashboard is very evident at times. But the car overall is a pleasure to drive.
@niikkxx yes sir, that noise comes from gloss black strip on the dashboard, it's not because of plastic quality it's the nature of gloss black plastic due to its thickness and flexible character, this is common in all vehicles wherever such materials are used

Sir agar gadi heat me khadi ho our andar se seats garam hue ho to cabin cool hone me kafi samay lagta hai, even ventilated seats bhi cooling me effective nai hai Otherwise effectiveness ka koi issue nai hai. For example: mujhe pune me kabhi AC ka issue feel nai hua, mumbai me hota hai

@@carbro9 non turbo is underpower for sure, 1.3L turbo is well powered and has the most silent cabin in segment, plus if u have felt the car from inside it no other vehicle till 25L feels like MG ASTOR from inside ( detailing, fit, finishing, gaps, all leather, soft touch everywhere even on dashboard, roof lining material and much more ). i have polo and i will never just say that vw 2.0 cars interior is on par with others.

I would suggest you to take test drive and keep below points in mind. Go to showroom directly, they will offer you home test drive don't opt for it, if you opt for home test drive, they will keep AC On before test drive and u won't feel any problem with AC since cabin is already cooled Go to showroom, ask them to keep vehicle in open ground under sunlight for 15-20 min, ensure engine is off, take the keys with you and have good 20-25 minutes discussion on pricing, offers and features, then take a test drive and observe AC performance

Not really Let me share my experience, Ive been Honda fan since almost a decade, Ive driven city 3rd 4th and now owning 5th gen as well, the problem with Honda is they have limited options and city feels very outdated now, it really needs major update/upgrade, being a sedan fan I had to explore other options and finally settled on slavia 1.5 Here is my personal feedback on both sedans Looks slavia wins Build and safety slavia wins with 5star Rear seat space slavia Headroom slavia Gear shift...city is better than 1.0 but can't match power and smoothness of 1.5 Comfort: seat cushions are better in city but makes very uncomfortable on long journeys, slavia seats feel same even after 400kms non stop run Steering, forget about city, slavia is at par with segment above, city is not even close to this Ride and handling- slavia gives more confidence in higher speeds Fit and finish- city wins here Service experience - city wins Fancy features-city wins Music system -slavia Pricing- yes city is vfm Overall,.slavia is better package with good road presence,space and comfort, ride and handling, safety amd overall feel of the car City is no doubt a good car, but needs to understand demand of Indian consumers. These youtubers don't have anything to talk about Honda unless Honda gives them opportunity to talk
Sir Verna is a good package to consider if you like it's looks (it's subjective, most of buyers rejecting it as they find it ugly, some find it futuristic) PFB detailed interior review of verna: Pros: Quite bright and airy. Soft touch materials applied across the dasboard (the white strip with the stich on it). Decent material quality. Decent fit and finish (not hugely better than the Slavia, virtus or City but better nevertheless). Slick infotainment (I still prefer the VAG 10+ inch unit). Comfy seats. Low dash and good frontal visibility. Good legroom in the rear, Finally! Cons: Steering wheel looks terrible and the centre boss plastic quality feels low rent, buttons are okay though. Window switches are not not fully illuminated (as usual..). Light coloured soft touch material will pick up stains. The dealership got the car 2 days ago and it was already pretty soiled. City still feels more spacious, so does my Slavia. Especially in the rear. Some buttons look tacky, especially the piano black ones (personal taste..). The bezel around the infotainment screen looks CHEAP! Kuch issue slavia me hai kuch verna me bhi hai, sare car me kuch na kuch issues hote hi hai, depend karta hai buyer pe unke liye car me priority kya hai

Fir delivery के बाद owners फस गए और Quality issues और problems आ गए लोगों की Cars महीनों Services Stn मे पडी रही. अब बोलते हैं हमारी Cars India के लिए over Engineered Cars है. इसका मतलब यह हुआ कि Over Engineered Cars मे इतने सारे Quality issues और Problems. कैसे हम as buyers उनके पर भरोसा करे? मन लिया आपकी Car सही चल है. हमारी ने Problem आया तो क्या? एक तो Cars और Maintenance expensive फिर यह risk लेना बेवकूफ़ वाली बात है. भरोसा लाने के लिए Affordable Pricing साथ मे कम से कम 5 साल Free Maintenance with all consumables और 5 साल की Complete Warranty with clutch plate, Engine, Turbo charger, Gearbox देना chaiye.

If there is an issue it’s an issue and vw group is not able to fix this silly thing. This shows how poor these brands R&D dept 1touch up&down window is a vary feature now days and if a 15 to 20 lakhs car is having this issue and not able to resolve it then this is a bummer.

8 -9 ke mileage se 20-21 ka mileage ka jump nahi ho sakta. Hamesha city and highway mileage difference is max. 5kmpl se jyada nahi ho sakta. This is true for all car brands.

Slavia offers: big boot space, more leg room, better handling on highways, specious cabin
Kushaq offers: higher ground clearance, sporty looks, better handling on rough roads.
Performance wise both are almost same

Its a best package in that price range bro, but honestly there are very less real life reviews available, it's a new product can't comment on this now... however it's a same 1.0 engine and most of the materials are also same as slavia and kushaq, I am sure it will give u better driving experience and safety than its rivals
If u can extend your budget a bit go for kushaq, ull get good discount on it
Kylaq is good fit in this price point considering his budget bro
Let me sound a warning. All VW-Skoda Cars with MT Gearbox offers Clutch with deep & springy travel (Hard press) & Gear Shifting is also not as silken smooth & short shifts as Japanese or Korean Cars.
VW-Skoda are good with Auto Gearbox TC or DSG. That's the reason why most MT Gearbox Cars suffers from Regular 20-30,000 kms. Clutch Plate Replacements which costs you approx.₹25,000.
Many VW-Skoda MT Owners had to replace Clutch Plate in under 5,000 kms.

For now addressing your queries in short:
1.Maintenance: Skoda service happens at the interval of 15000 kms where other manufacturers do it at 10000 kms, service cost is now at par with Verna and city, sometime it may look slightly high however we also need to consider 5000 extra kms of service interval. So in apple to apple comparison after 50000 kms Skoda needs only 3 service whereas Hyundai,Honda,maruti,tata, M&M will need 5 services, comparatively you will find Skoda cheaper in 5 years run.
Yes Parts are expensive compared to rivals
Take maintenance package and 2 years extended warranty you are sorted for 6 years, you can negotiate with dealer and get EW and Service package with purchase price itself
Colour: candy white and brilliant silver will be good to maintain in dusty location, Lava blue, Dark grey,matte colours needs daily maintenance otherwise it looks very dirty....if u are fond of colors crystal blue is better choice....in short go for light shades

Nice Video Bro, I liked poin to point explanation given, Jus wanna highlight one major issue , about Burning of clutch plates in MT, I hav seen many owners comments, there is thread on FB as well, that they had to change therir clutch plates within 10k -15k KM, n since its wear n tear part not covered in warranty and costing goes with labor around 40k -50k INR. would you provide your expert insights on the same, would be really helpful

@carbro9 it seems to be something from backside not known the exact location yet but it is very odd sound when we pass through some sudden patholes ..
Haven't observed anything like that, there is a sound of suspension which is common in all VW group cars u will only notice it at lower speed with windows open

U will feel it on big potholes and spead breakers, not sure if this is the same noise you are talking about sir
What about vibrations which comes with 3 cylinder engine ？
U will feel slight vibration while moving your vehicle on 1st gear and while in reverse gear...but it not much...it's all due to aggressive tuning of 1.0 ATs

I drive a 1.5 DSG Slavia, 6000 km done. Can't say rattling, but squeaks here and there from the dashboard is very evident at times. But the car overall is a pleasure to drive.
@niikkxx yes sir, that noise comes from gloss black strip on the dashboard, it's not because of plastic quality it's the nature of gloss black plastic due to its thickness and flexible character, this is common in all vehicles wherever such materials are used

2. ac effectiveness jyada nhi hai,cooling not good
Sir agar gadi heat me khadi ho our andar se seats garam hue ho to cabin cool hone me kafi samay lagta hai, even ventilated seats bhi cooling me effective nai hai
Otherwise effectiveness ka koi issue nai hai.

@@carbro9 non turbo is underpower for sure, 1.3L turbo is well powered and has the most silent cabin in segment, plus if u have felt the car from inside it no other vehicle till 25L feels like MG ASTOR from inside ( detailing, fit, finishing, gaps, all leather, soft touch everywhere even on dashboard, roof lining material and much more ). i have polo and i will never just say that vw 2.0 cars interior is on par with others.

I would suggest you to take test drive and keep below points in mind.
Go to showroom directly, they will offer you home test drive don't opt for it, if you opt for home test drive, they will keep AC On before test drive and u won't feel any problem with AC since cabin is already cooled
Go to showroom, ask them to keep vehicle in open ground under sunlight for 15-20 min, ensure engine is off, take the keys with you and have good 20-25 minutes discussion on pricing, offers and features, then take a test drive and observe AC performance

Let me share my experience, Ive been Honda fan since almost a decade, Ive driven city 3rd 4th and now owning 5th gen as well, the problem with Honda is they have limited options and city feels very outdated now, it really needs major update/upgrade, being a sedan fan I had to explore other options and finally settled on slavia 1.5
Here is my personal feedback on both sedans
Looks slavia wins
Build and safety slavia wins with 5star
Rear seat space slavia
Headroom slavia
Gear shift...city is better than 1.0 but can't match power and smoothness of 1.5
Comfort: seat cushions are better in city but makes very uncomfortable on long journeys, slavia seats feel same even after 400kms non stop run
Steering, forget about city, slavia is at par with segment above, city is not even close to this
Ride and handling- slavia gives more confidence in higher speeds
Fit and finish- city wins here
Service experience - city wins
Fancy features-city wins
Music system -slavia
Pricing- yes city is vfm
Overall,.slavia is better package with good road presence,space and comfort, ride and handling, safety amd overall feel of the car
City is no doubt a good car, but needs to understand demand of Indian consumers.

Sir Verna is a good package to consider if you like it's looks (it's subjective, most of buyers rejecting it as they find it ugly, some find it futuristic)

Pros:
Quite bright and airy.
Soft touch materials applied across the dasboard (the white strip with the stich on it).
Decent material quality.
Decent fit and finish (not hugely better than the Slavia, virtus or City but better nevertheless).
Slick infotainment (I still prefer the VAG 10+ inch unit).
Comfy seats.
Low dash and good frontal visibility.
Good legroom in the rear, Finally!
Cons:
Steering wheel looks terrible and the centre boss plastic quality feels low rent, buttons are okay though.
Window switches are not not fully illuminated (as usual..).
Light coloured soft touch material will pick up stains. The dealership got the car 2 days ago and it was already pretty soiled.
City still feels more spacious, so does my Slavia. Especially in the rear.
Some buttons look tacky, especially the piano black ones (personal taste..).
The bezel around the infotainment screen looks CHEAP!

Fir delivery के बाद owners फस गए और Quality issues और problems आ गए लोगों की Cars महीनों Services Stn मे पडी रही. अब बोलते हैं हमारी Cars India के लिए over Engineered Cars है. इसका मतलब यह हुआ कि Over Engineered Cars मे इतने सारे Quality issues और Problems.
कैसे हम as buyers उनके पर भरोसा करे? मन लिया आपकी Car सही चल है. हमारी ने Problem आया तो क्या?
एक तो Cars और Maintenance expensive फिर यह risk लेना बेवकूफ़ वाली बात है.
भरोसा लाने के लिए Affordable Pricing साथ मे कम से कम 5 साल Free Maintenance with all consumables और 5 साल की Complete Warranty with clutch plate, Engine, Turbo charger, Gearbox देना chaiye.

If there is an issue it’s an issue and vw group is not able to fix this silly thing. This shows how poor these brands R&D dept 1touch up&down window is a vary feature now days and if a 15 to 20 lakhs car is having this issue and not able to resolve it then this is a bummer.

8 -9 ke mileage se 20-21 ka mileage ka jump nahi ho sakta. Hamesha city and highway mileage difference is max. 5kmpl se jyada nahi ho sakta. This is true for all car brands.
