Flore's can be a tricky island to navigate for tourists so we wrote a blog post here! (But spoilers of upcoming videos) www.jordanandemily.com.au/post/flores-indonesia-how-to-guide-and-full-itinerary
I think the interest of Flores is to access untouched ecosystems! Birdlife in the rainforest, with different altitudes, is absolutely incredible!!! World-class. The minuscule men of Flores hunting the tiny elephants... 😂😂😂
Wow, what a great video Jordan and Emily. It is so interesting to go to different countries and cultures and experience how they live. The friendliness of the people always makes your stay more enjoyable. I was fascinated by those huts with the grass roofs that are flame resistant. When you look at them, it seems like they would burn really easily. The fresh markets looked amazing. I was surprised to see those two guys playing a game of Chess. Thanks for sharing your travel experiences with us.
Hi really love your videos, I am planning to go on a 2 month travel through Indonesia and was wondering How do I book a home stay or finding a local tour guide that can show me more rural side of Indonesia. Thank you
Hello, Thank you! Wow, 2 months is going to be incredibel! we found the best way to organise anything (Especially on the less touristy parts of indonesia) is to ask around locally! Most hotels or hostels you book online will have someone there who can help organise pretty much anything! we found that to be the best way!
Hello! Love the videos and how helpful they are! I wanted to know, would you think its advisable to prebook the homestays/hostels in Flores/ and elsewhere generally in Indonesia, or we can reach there and figure it out?
Honestly will depend on the season! if you're in high season I wouldn't risk just showing up. But in shoulder season and off season you should have much trouble at all!
Hi Emily, We came all the way from Belgium to see komodo dragons and have the same zoo experience. Rangers are a bit lazy or spoiled by attention and tourists: they are giving absolutely no information…
I wish we had this info before we started planning indonesia! just lookedon google and those places look incredible! we're sad we will miss out but it's a great excuse to come back to indonesia one day!

How good is a hidden gem! That cave seems awfully big for little people 😂 Also love seeing extra cuts / bloopers at the end again.
