Idk if this is intentional, but if it is the makers of this mod are absolute geniuses This song can also work symbolically as a metaphor for depression/addiction. It would have been so easy to give a bad and good ending. But it's not easy to get out of depression/addiction , it's a deep dark (hell)hole you have to climb out of. Satan (Mickey's literal demon) could represent addiction/depression claiming Mickey despite of bf's actions. Even though he was happy for a short amount of time it came back (relapse or depressive period) Also love how bf has very little to actually do with the endings , Mickey only becomes happy for a short while after Minnie comes back to him. And bf alone can't do anything , since words aren't enough to get someone out of a place like that and Mickey is ultimately shackled and forced to face his demons head on Am i looking too deep into this? Probably lol
You can actually add onto this using other songs in the mod, for example Too Slow. According to the lore of WI, Too Slow takes place about 500 years later, and Mickey has given up, allowing the Devil to become a part of him. Perhaps this symbolizes that some people are never able to escape their depression/addiction, and get so lost in them that they become a PART of the person.
I really can't put into exact words how amazing this song is, you and Jhaix truly outdid yourselves this time, i always expect bangers from you but man this shit went even harder than that, it's so catchy and i've had in my mind since i heard it, it's so catchy and so well done. Every part is so fricking good, the beginning where we hear Mickey confused and scared, not knowing how or why he ended up in this dark cavern, with his good ending suddenly taken away from him, all of this while he faces off against what looks like a kind yet sentimental old man, Mickey tries to talk himself out of this situation and the old man listens, until he reveals to be Satan himself, the mind behind his cruel fate. Then, Mickey starts to panic and starts to plea and scream so he can be let free, that he deserves another chance at life, all while he is judged by the souls of the ones that came before him in the background. Satan doesn't care about his pleas for forgiveness as he mocks him by singing and striking menacing and taunting poses, all of this while Mickey is still screaming and trying to escape from the chains he put himself in thanks to his own decisions, or where they his decisions at all? Suddenly the music calms down for a bit and Mickey tries to reason with the Devil once again, this time really trying to convince him to break him free, but sadly he doesn't care about what he has to say as he responds by using his own words against him and laughs. The poor little Mouse starts to once again sing for his life, this time even harder to the point where he is starting to ascend from the ground, as his pain is felt throughout many realities, this shown off by the fact he is glitching out and Julian and Cheddar appear during those glitches. He's using his last strenghts to sing for he has still hope that he will be back with Minnie and his friends, but of course this is false hope. As he sings his heart out crying and suffering, Satan doesn't break a sweat for he knows he is more powerful than his toy and that he's the one in charge of his life and always has been, and can control him for as long as he wants until he gets rid of him. The two sing as things get more intense, but suddenly it all stops, the music abruptly starts fading just like how Mickey's life abruptly ended, and the two stay there while the darkness comes in, with Satan and Mickey staying down in hell forever, one tormenting the other as he has always done and the other wishing he could have had a better life, questioning what exactly he did wrong that lead to all of this, to his punishment, for he doesn't get a good or bad ending, it's only destiny. I genuinely appreciate how much emotion was put into this song, you can interpret it as so many things just like how i did, and i'm sure most will interpret the song in fun and creative ways. Also love how this is the opposite of Hellhole as in this song Mickey is trying to fight for his life while in the other he has already come to the terms with his sins and accepts his fate of staying in hell, even if he's still melancholic about it. The other thing that really made me happy is that this sounds like a The Binding of Isaac final boss theme, even down to the Latin title, has those intense drums and instruments as well which remind me even more of that game which makes me love the song even more. Over all this is one of, if not, the best song in the entire mod, thank you and Jhaix for making this.

Can I just say that I like the fact that the devil was like "everything is great and happy and nothing bad's gonna happen." And then he was like "SIKE BISH you thought this story was gonna have a happy ending? Was is this an fnf logic episode? You can't be happy!" Also for some reason I see the situation throughout the song as Gametoons but better as Mickey is tortured by the devil and not possessed by him.

I think this, Untold Loneliness and Unknown Suffering are my favorites of the mod's songs. That said, there wasn't a single song I hated, I generally bopped to them all~ But this one has such a sad, somber, powerful, aggressively defiant feel to it. It really had the melody that you're fighting some kinda unholy beast - and gods do I love the part in the sprites and change in music, speed, pitch where Mickey just _lets go_ and goes ham
