RECIPES:
Ingredients
For the Dough
2 eggs
150 g of sugar
Zest of 1 lemon
120 g of butter
500 g all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 vanillas
For the filling
3 red apples
50 g of sugar
A little lemon juice
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Powdered sugar
Method
We start by making our apple pie dough. Mix the eggs with the sugar. Then, add the rest of the ingredients and work well to make a dough.
When it is ready, cover it with cling film and leave it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
We proceed with the filling of the apple pie. Clean and cut the apples into cubes. Then, put the apples, sugar, lemon juice in a pan and caramelize them.
Remove from heat and flavor with cinnamon.
Then, in a 26 cm form, spread half the dough with our hands.
Place the apples and grate the rest of the dough on top with a coarse grater.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius, on the heating element, until golden brown.
Finally, serve with powdered sugar.
