Bro thank you so much, i picked this thing up to go with my new agile interpid 8 string and i was having a really hard time getting the tone that i wanted. This video really helped me find a good starting point to level everything out and see how each component works together. Really helped me get a tone that i am satisfied with!
I love the sound of it on the demo. However, I have read some comments that this pedal naturally scoops the mids. Will boosting the 500 hz and 1 khz on the graphic EQ remedy it?
This is a GREAT pedal review. How to use it, is better than just random demoing.
Glad you like it Ike!
Chris Kollias more! More like this!
It's always such a pleasure to watching Chris's videos. X7 is the best pedal for plug'n'play sound in my opinion. That's why I'm using X7 as well! :)
X7 power! Cheers Sergey!
This is the best "review" of this pedal. Congrats. Simple, without a lot of noises and
didactic. Saudações do Brasil.

Loved the inclusion of spectral analysis. Great work!
Cheers Aaron!
Aaron Davis I really like it too, and with a great spectrum analyser

Great Video! Chris!! And I can't decide whom I like more you or your bass!😅
Haha! thanks!
@@usagiDK Unless we live in the Matrix haha! Thanks!
Your demos alone were the reason I got B7k & SS pedal’s. I’m not sure I can afford to watch this video 🤣🙈🤣
Haha! Thanks a lot Sam! I appreciate it!
@@ChrisKollias No worries at all mate. Also another great video!!

Awesome video Chris! Why is there such difference in tone from the xlr and 1/4 output?
Thanks a lot! The XLR features a filtered output like cab simulation.

May I ask why the XLR and regular outputs sounded different? Is it because you have further pedal processing/amps after the regular 1/4" out? Thanks!
Big Darkglass fan, but the mini pots for LP/HP are a swing and a miss imo. Reminds me of eurorack modules.
The low comp knob, which way should I turn it to compress the low side more, clockwise or counter-clockwise?
Clockwise, increasing the compression
Any reason you run a compressor before it?
are you using a Cab sim or IR on this Demo?
when I use this pedal tends to sound way too harsh, as if it needed one to work "properly"
Pom pom pom bop bop dun dun baouwm
Does this have a speaker sim?
The XLR features a low pass filter removing the harsh frequencies
