This episode is a "Classic". I was getting pissed off right along with u. Then I heard the echo of ZIOOO!, LOL, that shit hyped me UP! I felt like I was the one playing. Its official... SLH is an editing GENIUS.

It seems the fiends live to their reputation again. Be unprepared and they teach you to die, be prepared...and ZIOOOOOOOOOOO. ( I'm surprised a fiend had an elemental weakness. Usually, they are just BS personificated.)
David is a mission fiend as is Mother Harlot in this game, the rest are rather brutal still.
Like when I ran into Red Rider with a max level team, including the DLC demons like Uriel. I died before I even got to take my first turn....with a *maxed out team* for crying out loud!
didn't even try all elementals for the same reason! fucking buffed myself 3x3 in horde phase and still almost lost to mamudo. aeros with null dark carried

Has anyone been compiling all of the rage moments of this playthrough? Because it deserves a compilation once it's over.
The music gave me painful flashbacks about matador from nocturne...

I like how this man David tryna do a ghost of Christmas past type dialogue like meeting the other fiends isn’t the most cryptic thing to do in the entire franchise.
I love your reaction when David appears for the first time. I had the same exact thing happen to me XD. To be honest I love this game, but I will admit it's got it's problems.
First off, I enjoyed Nocturne a lot, so it was awesome to hear the fiend music playing.
someshyguy yeah but the suffer in Nocturne was worst for me xD
yeah this game is good and i like it a lot too, but some people just put it on a pedestal and think its the best smt game in the franchise, and overlook all the flaws in the game like cmon bruh, theres a lot of flaws in this game that were fixed on next smt games
For me it wasn't David himself that scared me....it was *the music* ....I recognized the Fiend theme *instantly* (seriously, I recognized it after like the first "dun, dun dun" started playing) and immediately had an "Oh, crap!" reaction. Luckily for me, I wound up having done enough grinding by then (just to make sure I was ready for any upcoming areas, I had no idea I was about to run into a Fiend) to have a team that was strong enough to more or less trivialize David. The instant I noticed any of m y demons had a weakness to something David had, they immediately got tagged out for something that wasn't weak to David. I'm the kind of person who will grind, perhaps even a bit too much, between areas just to make sure I'm ready. That habit served me well too, as it was rare for me to actually lose as a result.
@@absi49 gameplay wise it seems to be the best of the numbered games from what I've seen.
That said, the game has issues with its narrative and well, Tokyo overall. Other stuff that I thought were issues were actually homages to previous games and learned to appreciate them because of it (like Naraku). And well, Naraku is the single best tutorial dungeon ever made.

That theme that plays when facing David brings back some unpleasant memories from Nocturne. Anyone who played that game will recognize that theme anywhere.
I think the segments involving the minotaur should be animated XDDD

I admit that David is a hard ass boss, specially below level...like most of us who did it. Man your first time was just brutal! Lucky mudo!
I just realized this is the same battle music from the Nocturne's friend battles. "This is Epic Music" lol
That quest "experience of the afterlife" you have, can be used to grind very easily. I got up to level 50 with it in like an hour before going to the forest, and i only stopped when it got boring.

I'm pretty sure the opponents have a chance of hitting first even if you do get the preemptive strike if they're of a higher level.
SLH not trying to be a backseat gamer but just to make you experience with this game more enjoyable, for now on just put points on magic you have enough speed to fight for a long time. Sorry if my english is bad i'm from brasil btw you have subs from here!

A helpful tip: Get Uriel!!!!! He has a skill that is like Hassou Tobi, but instead of 8 times, it's 16!!!!
Oh it's not. But he's mentioned not having a grind spot in like the last 3 videos.

For starters John Nguyen, SLH has to defeat Uriel (DLC boss) before you're able to fuse Uriel. Before I forget, Uriel is ugly.
