My friend just had one given to him today. Still bright red. but eng.is gunked up from lack of being used .yours is a freekin rocket ! Ive told him to keep it just a while and de grunge it. Before he gets bored and parts it out .he also got a Kaw x series.all there but some rodent damage on some wires.. Its 20 degrees in Tenn. Today and im trying to talk him into hang on for some spring weather. But hey if you might need parts he might be your guy...
What have you done to the exhaust and intake? I have a 97 daytona 1000, arctic cat green. Building a hooper 1202 for it. 1100 tsr exhaust, 1100 148mm impeller and nozzle, black magic intake and ride plate. Still unsure what carbs to use
DIY Dan id have to let you know after i ride again. i do know its slightly higher than normal WOT rating. after i did the bigger jets it went up a few hundred rpm.
Yeah I did full intake system with bigger low/high speed jets, custom intake grate, tony dukas racing waterbox exhaust with a sprayer and solas impellar with a tsr nozzle. Oh yeah I ride this bitch backwards all-day son. Go ahead and try to build one faster. I'll go up against you. I'm in michigan. Come see me.

Mine is bone stock. The wear ring needs replacing badly, but i'm turning around 6900 rpms at WOT.

These were only good in calm water. They were very light machines. My 2001 gp1200r would smoke my buddies 1000 Daytona
