Yes, please! Subtitles in both languages would be amazingly useful!

Hey, greetings from Serbia(if you don't know what it is, google it, but it was part of ex-yugoslavia, in the balkans. Celts were on the balkans long time ago and that made over 4000 words in serbian and irish similar, for exampre the number 4, in serbian is četiri.

Which Irish dialect do you speak? I'm from Germany and I was in Ireland twice. I really love your language and culture. I wished more would speak it. 🇮🇪

It’s funny how many of the sounds are quite close to Icelandic - but well, the Norse and the old Irish culture had come contact, with Norse in Ireland and Irish people in Iceland.

This language needs to be more popularized in order to not dying out. It's currently spoken by very few people, mostly older so in a generation or two it could be a dead language! That being said, it would greatly help to spread it if english is used as subtitles. Like it or not, english is very widely spoken, so it would reach people everywhere! I'm not a native speaker of english myself but I can learn a lot from most cultures and languages around the world by communicating in english. If I had to rely on my own native language - portuguese - I'd not be able to know most things. And portuguese is spoken by millions of people. If less than a hundred thousand people speak irish, your audience is very limited without at least subtitles.

Automatic subtitles are so weird and, partially, funny.

@@michealomainin Is léir mar sin nár chuala tú Gaeilge Mhaigh Eo ariamh, ná Gaeilge Dhúiche Sheoigheach, mar is í an chanúint chéanna beag ná mór atá againn uilíg. Má théann tú go dtí Corr Na Móna i dtuaisceart na Gaillimhe cluinfidh tú an chanúint chéanna linne.
