I have the old j99 machine. It sits up higher and you dont have to use 3 bottles unless you want to. It looks better with 3 bottles but works fine with only 1. Bad thing is it gets so cold in 30 mins it comes out like a slurpee. Can you dial it up somehow so its just realy cold not half frozen slush.
obviosly you have both shot coolers. whitch one do you believe is the better option for at home? i like the single bottle option but that low tap really throws me off. can you use the 3 bottle unit with only 1 or 2 bottles?
The single bottle unit is great for at home. The low pour spout isn't an issue if you have it at the edge of the counter. You do not need to have 3 full bottles on the bigger unit, however the reservoir is much larger and will need to be full in order to function. It holds a bottle itself, so if you wanted it full, you would need 4 bottles from empty. The 3 bottle unit also lets the drink in the pour spout get warmer than the single bottle unit. We regularly pour the first shot back into the 3 bottle machine to have a cold first drink. The single bottle unit does not have this issue.
So my shotmeister machine first day hits -17 next day it hit -5 didn't go any lower now its around 1 degree Celsius ??? And bottle has been chilled before putting in ...5th and like 3 shots took bottle out ots half gone?? Do these thongs have a reservoir in them?? And need to always stay on to work properly ?
They have a reservoir in them. once you put the bottle on, leave it. The bottle doesnt need to be chilled as that is what the machine is for. If it is not full, it will not chill properly. It should get down to -9 or -10F. When you put a bottle in it, a good portion will empty into the machine.
