-18°C sounds freezing but Jagermeister freezes at -30°C
Jägermeister freezes at -22°C, I still mourn my last year's new years bottle which was at my balcony.
-30°C sounds freezing but then you remember 0°K is freezing.
@Fungi Prospector okay?...
@@fungiprospector but all molecules would stand still and everything would be dead around it
@@Luka_H doesn't mean it ain't cold 😎😎
With the hold in the bottle, you can now put it in the loop and have the pipe go through the bottle so it looks like the liquid is going through the bottle giving the illusion that the bottle is doing its job.
Yeah, was going to say that... with the tubes (and maybe a Dremel) at least the casing should be able to go back on
Peltier PC cooling was a thing back in the early 2000's. Neat to see it mentioned again.
I started thinking about those drink coolers they used to make that had a Peltier cooler on the side
They are still around but its expensive with all the extra concerns you have to deal with. They are fun to play around with!!
I am wondering about this too after thinking about those snap on phone coolers, maybe they can find a way to integrate this with today's tech or hardware.
@@stormgear896 EKWB actually offers a peltier CPU cooler for Intel chips. der8auer has a video about it, too.
When the chip burns out----so does your pc.
If Jagermeister is interested in pushing this further (please do it!) I'd love to see a build that uses multiple Jagermeister Tap Machines built into the loop on a full time basis, where radiators could pull the coolant down to ambient, and then have 2-3 tap machines flowing in series (or one beefed-up Tap with a larger Peltier) drop the temps to below ambient. This plan wouldn't achieve below-freezing temperatures, but even sub-ambient cooling on a permanent basis (rather than just a single shot of boosted performance) would be awesome!
Peltier modules aren't efficient enough to do this effectively, but if you're interested, linus tech tips did a video where they made a custom setup to use 20 or so modules to cool a pc sub ambient, all custom hardware in a ridiculous setup bigger than the pc itself!
@@spencerwarren8302 Oh right, I remember that video! That's probably why I was thinking about using multiple of these peltier taps
Nah. They need to submerge the whole PC into a vat of super chilled Jaeger.
@@DarthChewie Jagermeister sure is good at advertisement.
I feel like the spirit of this challenge was less about cooling the pc and more about finding a way to have the Jager from the pc dispensed into a cup for consumption, and even replaced by popping a fresh bottle on.
Liking the educational aspects of the content. Entertaining as always while getting thorough insight into your thought process over project.
Keep it up man :)
That's the Kyle I know and love !
Good job on this video man (writing, editing, delivery, ...)
Keep it up ;)
It’s about time. Man I miss the old Kyle. Love this stuff man, come back to us, we beg of you!!!!!!!
Yup I am glad he is back. One day I hope awesome hardware live streams will come back too
This is badass! I would love to see the beauty covers back on the tap machine for a seamless look
Should route the tube throug the back of the Yager bottle (bottle is just a slip cover for the tube at this point) and down through the bottle opening to the fitting.
yeah... but he cheaped out again in this build.
using the bottle is the most crucial step of a Jägermeister build.
Really lame outcome and many lazy solutions that had really easy fixed and would have made the build 10x better.
7:30 i mean look at this.... its atrocious.
They should give the next build to someone else
This is a true piece of art
Would've been cooler if you maintained the integrity of the tap machine... Like a tube passing through the inside of the inverted bottle hidden inside the liquid, and maybe increasing the diameter of the tap nozzle to fit the outgoing tubing...
Another great vid Kyle, lots of fun.
Definitely a fun challenge to watch! Would've loved to see you do a bit of OC'ing on this system to see what you could get with the extra 10-18C you were getting.
Cool video. Looks like you put a lot of work into this. Thumbs up to you and Jägermeister.
quality content as always good sir. cheers
I love this style and. His flow in this video he's just great
Love it almost want to go back to custom water loop building
Some additional DIYing could've seen the bottle retrofitted back on. Just pass the tubing through the bottle and mod the facia to fit.
I have been subbed forever but this is the first video recommended to me in my home page in a long time
Welcome back Kyle amazing video
You should hook up like 10 of them.
Activate them all by one. Once the last one has worn out you should be able to activate the first one again
The pc will be drunk from chugging all that Jäegermeister. Either way looks neat😎
I don't drink, but I can respect the sponsorship. Very nice product integration
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING & SOOO COOL!!!
This video was awesome. Best in a while.
Awesome video, please repeat same test with full sized tap machine. Could be epic and has crossed my mind but expected I would blow mine up from over working it.
dang Kyle this one is awesome!!
Love the build looks great. I have great nights when a drink Jägermeister but a little blurry.
7:39 a wave of WHAT
calm
"How unstumptious of you!" Nailed it.
Fun video! Just one thing. Although Propylene Glycol has a lower freezing point, it is not used in antifreeze, Ethylene Glycol is. Propylene Glycol is actually commonly used in medicines, cosmetics and food products to help maintain moisture. It is also commonly used in smoke machines, and is generally non-toxic. Ethylene Glycol on the other hand is poisonous.
I learned how to drill glass from videos of stoners making bongs. Its amazing how much one can learn on youtube
all responsibilities come to a dead stop the moment you've committed to putting the Jägermeister to your lips and some say even cracking open the bottle may have been a bad idea. and we love it so.
what would make the Jägermeister build perfect would be a custom Jäger bottle reservoir and Jäger coloured cooling fluid :D
great Vid, really enjoyed the Linus add
hahaaha linus face pre 2020. Lord Kyle, I almost got water all over my laptop. Really good video, loved the simple explanation of the science behind it.
Edit: be careful what you ask for Kyle lol. I look forward to the next challenge they give you.
The "yay" got me 🤣
That’s awesome!! Wonder which company will challenge you next!
I was kind of thinking of something like this last night but having like interchangeable canisters that one would store in the freezer and be able to swap them out every so often that's where this video pops up now cuz I didn't type anything in like that
Good job writing this scrip ChatGPT!
7:44 Great Tate impression
Ethylene glycol is coolant, propylene glycol is used in aerosols and food preservatives. Completely different chemicals, in makeup and application.
Pretty big distinction there.
Didn’t they have the PC sitting at one of their headquarters? Did they send it back to have this done I always loved this build the colors just work
This PC is so redonkulous and I love it.
nice one loved it kyle. And yes cheers to you mate. 😀😉🤣😏😮
ah yes drilling holes in jager bottles. taskes me back to middle school. but we did it to make bongs back in my day.
you could potentially get more effect with a two loop setup.
install a large insulated reservoir in your PCs loop, which otherwise should be absolutely normal.
make the second loop cool the water of the reservoir with the external cooler.
the idea is to first start the secondary loop and let the water in the reservoir cool down as far as it would get.
THEN switch on the PC and run your benchmarks.
An improved idea would be a Two reservoir setup, with one reservoir being filled with chilled coolant as described above.
when the benchmarks start the coolant would be fed through the loop into the second reservoir, this way the water that has flown through the loop would not warm up the coolant in the reservoir.
Mad man!!
bitwit the man that manages to say the right things at the right times effortlessly
Jaegermeister told you to "figure it out, dude!"
And figure it out, you did, dude!
I was hoping that Jagermeister tap had a heat pump in it.
I mean, you can buy ice cream machines with one, so why not?
Having a chiller for shots would be quite... *cool*
Love it!
Love it ... Want it !!
i bet jay is thinking to himself "stay in your lane kyle" lol
Ladies Kyle is now a Master Tapper ... Ladies? Ladies? Why are you laughing so hard 🤣
That's f**king pog.
Top tier writing 🤌
Kyle, i dont comment alot but MAN ily
i bet it would have better effect if the tap was half and half influx, mind the temperature drops would be less but i would assume more effective over time, Slow Cool instead of a cooling BLAST per say.
kind words to Vince Lucido of course: best of luck in your future endeavor :)
oh and thanks Jaggermeister and Kyle for this amazing video ;)
If it was scaled up and had a larger cold storage tank it might do better. But that would require a good bit of money to accomplish.
fuck yeah, lets get drunk son
PG and VG are the bases for fog machines as well as vape juice. Yes. Fog machines are literally massive vapes and the only difference is flavoring put into vape for consumption. This is why vaping is relatively safe compared to smoking.
Look at the big brain on BitWit.
You should try an air to water radiator with a small refrigerator holding the water reservoir. To get some freezing temperatures…
A heat exchanger in the freezer and a 12V suction pump could provide more performance with less risk. Yes! And the pipes should have been insulated!
finnaly he found a use for jager
New Drinking Game - I'm taking a shot every time he says "ice cold shot"... hopefully, I get a good phone signal in the ICU.
All in the name of science 🤣
I use an aquarium chiller on my 3080ti no rads or fans i can play most games on max settings 2k resolution sometimes i have to turn some settings down a bit butworks great reguardless
jagerbombs here we come
Cheers!
So if you connect the NReal Air glasses to this beast, does a visible alarm go off in your face to take a shot? Sorry, had a laugh when you used them as sunglasses
best mixed with redbul to make jager-bomb
imagine cleaning that loop after a couple months lol
Kyle writes funnier skits than SNL.
Cool PC!
why didn't you run the soft tubing through the jaeger bottle and replace the housing?? Great vid and build none the less
What a delicious video.
Dunno, but this vid have that Paul's Hardware vibe.
Jääägermeister! With an ä!
Sure !
Propulene Glycol is not antifreeze its a food grade carrier fluid used in tons of stuff, yes it is used in antifreeze but it itself is not.
The worst drunk I ever had involved copious amounts of Jager. That was back in 1979 and this is giving me flashbacks. I couldn't do that to my PC. 😁
All you need is more chillers! Hook up 10 or 20 in a row.
you can use 3d printer to make it look good by printing plastic that fits the new configuration.
May your frame rates be high and temperatures low. BEST TOAST EVER
Wow the disrespect didn’t even drink it
"yeay" 😂
I wonder if you just “undervolt” the tap instead of completely changing the the liquid to propylene glycol
This is good product presentation, that best buy gift one, not so much
Propylene Glycol is in antifreeze it isn't antifreeze itself. It is one of the major components of it though. Propylene glycol is not toxic in of itself.
Genius marketing.
So the glass bottle make the liquid cooling faster?
it sound like a heat exchanger
"Consuming ice cold shots....responsibly." Kyle, we all remember your pink hair don't you lie to us about you consuming things responsibly. We don't believe it one bit.
98C on the VRAM with a waterblock 😱 not making proper contact
@Bitwit Can you run two of them in a series? Jagermeister send him another one!
It's... beautiful 🥹
Would rather see the tap machine used as a reservoir so you could keep the tap function an dispense hot jager shots while gaming
