Okay you’re not gunna like this but I’m going to say it if u don’t know yet. Walter Hamada is responsible for bringing back Michael Keaton. He was gunna use him as a multiverse Batman. He signed on for the flash, aquaman 2(end credit cameo) batgirl(which was scrapped) and Batman beyond. Unfortunately Hamada was let go and WBD/Gunn cancelled Batman beyond for now. Keatons aquaman 2 cameo was also scrapped. It’s a downer but hopefully we can get Batman beyond down the line with Gunn/safran. But yeh Walter really tried to do us a solid before he left. He wanted to eventually replace Keaton with a younger Batman.

According to the director Andy Muschietti, we're in for some surprise cameos. Here are some that didn't make the cut. "When Q&A moderator Grae Drake asked the Muschiettis what characters or moments they couldn’t fit in the film, they obliged with a small sampling. The Flash cameos that unfortunately didn’t work out include Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman from the ‘70s TV series, Marlon Brando’s Jor-El from 1978’s Superman, as well as Burgess Meredith’s Penguin and Cesar Romero’s Joker from the 1960s Batman TV series."
That cut was 4 hrs long but I think we’re getting for sure Reeve’s Superman and Nicholson’s Joker. But honestly who knows what surprises they have for us

Keaton was signed on for Batman beyond as well by Walter Hamada but James Gunn cancelled it after he took the reigns. So Keaton last feature will be the flash. His cameo in aquaman 2 was replaced with Ben affleck Batman and his end scenes in flash were replaced with Ben affleck Batman. So the flash will be keatons last Batman feature as batgirl was scrapped.

The way the second trailer paces and how much of Keaton it features shows they know that's what we're here for.
This trailer is like "here's what you want... Keaton's Batman, and some Flash and Supergirl thrown in". No doubt the movie won't play this way, but Keaton was my Batman, so I'll take what I can get! lol
