I’ve found Mr Sheen furniture polish, as good as the old MAP spray at a 3rd of the price😂. The tip came from our local tackle shop, when he had run out of MAP, waiting for new stock. Looking forward to next upload. Many thanks👍👏👏
If you haven’t got mucilin try rubbing your finger over the glands on the side of your nostrils and behind your ears and then rub the line behind the float. Helps the line float and works surprisingly well.
@@MarkWintleFishing thanks Mark, I’ve ordered some lengths. It had never occurred to me to use anything other than the pre cut slices. I’ve only been fishing for 40 years! Cheers

We used to do that with old brass ferrules to stop them sticking.
In the days back when we used bronze maggots we tried to avoid touching our noses....
I'm really enjoying Roach Reflections, thanks very much and keep them coming. Mucilin is available from any shop selling fly fishing gear.
Red muclin is deer fat used on silk fly lines. Green muclin is silicon.

I suddenly remembered where I'd put my ancient tin of red Musilin and found it again.

Hi Mark, very good videos that I follow with interest. Where do you get those avon floats from? I can find anything like that in the shops.
I make my own. This video shows how: ua-cam.com/video/i1Xl235_Dqs/v-deo.html
Hello Mark, could you please explain why a longer rubber is better on the bottom of the float? Thanks
Helps avoid the line flipping over on the cast and tangling.
@@waynenippard5933 thank you Wayne. Much appreciated
It also makes the float stay where it should rather than slide on the line.
