I like! When you strum a guitar and can hear every individual note in the chord, that's a good pickup in my opinion! And you said it, these are very articulate😆! There's one thing wrong with those pickups, they're counterfeit. They could sell the product with their own brand, say it's inspired in brand x model y, but instead they just steal the brand. To me, it's a deal breaker. Unless it's really a Seymour Duncan product made in China, but I doubt it.
Seymour Duncan is getting paid for the original and the knock offs. AliExpress may have sign a knock off deal with seymour. Seymour may have sold the license to his discontinued pickups. These pickup are selling everywhere in Asia and in Latin America.
This must be a U.S pride thing. As for me I careless whether it's a knock off as long as it sounds good that's the bottom line. And many parts of the world is headed towards a recession these pickups will sell big time. I have the knock offs in my guitar and so far I'm happy with it.

Seymore Duncans use the black wire as the hot wire on their pickups,I bought a budget set myself Sh1&Sh4 and it appears they copied the wiring too, the green and extra ground wire twisted together,red & white also twisted together, black by itself, most likely is the hot,about ready to install them, but thought I would pass this on for anyone wiring the real or copied pickups.

Those are not fake, that are the best fine ceramic pick ups you could find. They should call it 'the Ming-Kar-Wei' of pick ups. I still can draw inwards cones without CNC machinery on those bigger coils. Namastè.
C8 pickups can be exceptional PU's as I and others have found. I got a cheap SD chinese copy like this (but the specs were correct) and split the coils for an Epiphone SG Special with an on/on/on switch so I had some options. I ended up with a very versatile guitar. You can get rid of the muddiness if you lower the bass side just a little, and be sure to check the relative volume. Which I had to do both for mine. If the single coil isn't chimey enough for you, you can raise the treble side a little. But, I have found you can only increase it a little before you start sacrificing tone quality.
I was just going through reviews of these (after ordering) to do the same with a Harley Benton SG custom , I have an old set of G and B from a Revstar as well , so glad these will split (as in their sale page picture) , I hope between those and the original Roswell's (all the same 11k!) I can get a good selection of voices/tones .
Thanks for the review of the pickups. I have a Les Paul copy that has some "muddy" sounding pickups. A set of these might just make that guitar sound a little better. Can't beat the price!👍😎🎸🎶

The fake Seymours sound good. Very strange that they're not even close to the stated spec but that could be a quality control issue.

@Evilroco that HB goldtop had non Roswell pups. And, they were slightly different on two guitars. One of them did not please me as much.
