This video reminds me of the r32s we used to thrash here in New Zealand almost 20 years ago. Rb20 is a super fun responsive engine. Very underrated and super fun to drive. Sadly most died a somewhat sad fate.

Jimmy needed a drift car like this so badly! The s13 has been out for like 18 months for paint, perfect show car paint, one bash and it’s down for paint and repairs again, the eww33 gets in a wreck and all it needs is a hammer!
A trick I learnt when drilling is to wrap electrical tape or some other tape around the drill bit so it doesn’t go all the way in and scratch what’s on the other side. Or so the chuck doesn’t smash your paint and scratch it up
Fellow Rb20 lover and past owner here. And I gotta say there is no way that thing made 270wheel 😅😅your dyno be a fluffer for sure my dude. Unless that 25 turbo is pushing 22psi 🤣such epic motors though. Really take all the beating. Sooo good ✊🏽

id say so, the 1jz s13 made power it couldn't possibly make on the turbo it had, with that dog stock 1j head
270 wheel is only 195kw which is not that crazy. RB25 turbo on like 14 - 15psi usually makes around 190kw so his dyno isn't that far off.
Lots of threads out there of guys making 190 - 210kw on RB25 turbos with stock 20s

Need that anaerobic gasket maker for water pumps, rtv will work, but you will have a lot more confidence with the anaerobic stuff.

Factory is 212 at the fly. 185ish@ wheels. 270wheel is like 320. Pretty crazy if that's stock turbo and 'reasonable' boost on gas.
