Having to pick my jaw off the floor. Stunning rocks and the colours were sooo pretty. And i totally agree with you some rocks dont need cutting just a polish and they are good. Some rocks just under the rough hide they have are just beautiful with the outer layer removed. And i love the microscope views. So pretty. They look like paintings. Than you Kim for taking the time to show us your passion and the beautiful rocks you find. Just blown away😮
@8:44 this is why amygdaloidal basalt called "galaxy stone"! BEAUTIFUL little universes in there! I Love this stuff. Like some chert, it is highly UNDER rated!! Thanks for sharing! Great video as always! #keeponkeepinon
* You have such wonderful BLUE.. I would cut & polish that forever.. So good to have rocks for Winter cutting.. Thanks for Sharing.. ~ The blue at the 8:53 mark was Stunning.. I'm Drooling.. ~ One of your cuts was very near a "growth" mound like a beginning Stalagmite.. So Cool..
Everything was just beautiful but I found the most beauty at the beginning and at the end of the rockshow and both were images of you, Our Beautiful RockMom♥
I love watching your adventures and the microscope is fascinating. Is it just me or does the last rock in this clip show the letters MOM in the middle. The white part of the rock. Pretty awesome!!
The slab at the 9:36 mark had Fabulous BLUE ~ Amazing Blue which had me Drooling.. You found so many beauties with fortification Banding.. Love the Eyes as well Drogon does need to be balanced because most of the slabs had wave saw marks... But I Love BLUE..
You have the best eye picking rocks, no one is even near to you! I agree, you should not cut every rock. Those jasp/agates are ment to be polished and enjoyed as they are. Congrats you make me happy on every video but also envious, dream to go to Montana!
I am amazed how pretty some of the rocks are inside that I would have stepped over because they looked plain on the outside. You have a good eye for this.
GOSH.....😁😄 as usual SO HARD to pick....intriguing patterns on ALL slabs GOD 🎨 Those for polishing Heart ❤💙💜💖 to see someday for sure. INSPIRED TO 🎨🖌 again..... BIG GALLERY SQUARE CANVASES THEN RESIN OVER THICK GLAZE SHINEY FINISH.... 💋😘 MORE MORE MORE & MORE GO MRM 🌟🤩⭐
I loved them all! You and Drogon make a pretty good team. All the colors, banding, swirls, the galaxies in the stone are mesmerizing. I like the one around 13:00. Thank you for sharing the first look anyone has ever had inside those beauties. The micrographs and wording overlays were cool and helpful Keep the fun coming. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
It's so hard to stop slabbing for the day ... you just want to cut 1 more rock... just 1 more....OK, this is going to be the last one....OK I can fit in a couple more...
Hello, Always great viewing of spectacular rocks... If you truly throw some away, I would absolutely love to have them... Thank You as always my friend... 🌲🦅🦉🦅🌲
Absolutely gorgeous! And I love the microscopic views, especially that amygdaloidal basalt with the copper! If I remember correctly, you tentatively identified the coprolite when you found it in the gravel. You sure know your rocks! Thank you for feeding Drogon.
Your finds are jaw dropping!! SO gorgeous. Us 2 old folks are headed to Montana this summer for 2-3 weeks to rockhound. Please leave some for us 😂 Its only April 1st, we’re not coming until June and I’m so flipping excited I can hardly wait. #BestVacayEver
I'm glad I slept in today, got to watch this with my coffee. Such pretty, pretty stuff. While it had probably the least amount of stuff going on, I think that one you cut around the 13:00 mark was my favorite. Thanks for the morning show. Now I have to go and be productive, but at least one of my morning chores is checking one of my tumbling barrels which makes up for everything else (almost).
Kim and the toys in her garage; what an awesome combination! Once again, the views from the microscope are incredible. Seeing that first one especially was like looking into another world.
Very inspiring, gets my artistic juices going! Some of the microscope shots would make great photo's to blow up as framed prints. They also give me ideas for paintings. I would love to be a fly on your shoulder. Great stuff!!!!
wow I'm amazed by your finds you truly are very lucky our areas here to find Tennessee painted agate is mostly privately owned so to find agate at all is rare I live in a Ordovician area that's full of fossil you are my gateway to beautiful agate and pet wood Rock on MRM!
Those cuts were beautiful! It's always a hard decision to know what to do with certain rocks. 🤔 You made great choices. 👍 Thanks for such an in-depth look into those unusual rocks from those great beds of your wondrous Yellowstone River. You are the best, MRM. Rock on and happy hunting. 😊
That amygdaloidal basalt is gorgeous. The copper in the vesicles are amazing. I dont know what that one rock was with all the pattern but its amazing. The agate with all the eyes is really interesting. The agate after with the fortification banding is awesome. my favorite was the last one. So cool! Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous finds. I love the raw forms. I own many agate-jasper specimens (naturally tumbled) that I´m not touching but feeling tempted to buy my own Drogon! Love your videos btw!!!
Mind blown. Huge boulders of Montana agates. Use to Lake Superior red agates, green moss agates,. Heard of 35 pounds up in the Minnesota iron range. Montana is unbelievable. Thank you for sharing. Makes me want to plan a week out there.
I understand where you’re coming from. Some rocks are not meant to be cut. They are so beautiful and if you cut them you’ll just damage the beauty. I’m glad you think that way.
Have you thought about a stand of sorts to hold your slabs when filming? 🤭 sitting them on something for temporary display, after cutting, while you filmed, would reduce the bouncing around trying to hold a recording device at the same time? Those were all phenomenal. And under the microscope, mind blowing. It's artwork.

Miracle of nature. The light of god.
I need to visit Montana .. never been anywhere west of me
Go west my friend! 🐎🐎🐎
I used to cut slabs for sale on eBay. 7mm thick is perfect for cabs.
The piece at the 15:30 mark looks like a Stalagmite formation. Cool.. It actually looks like Crazy Lace Agate..
Agatized stalagmites are so cool!
Have you thought about a stand of sorts to hold your slabs when filming? 🤭 sitting them on something for temporary display, after cutting, while you filmed, would reduce the bouncing around trying to hold a recording device at the same time? Inside of arts.
Montana mom hello from Tennessee!
You ask for suggestions ... Be more patient!
It Will come. You'll be able to handle it!
Have you ever thought about putting a small swatch of nyoprine on the side where the slab drops so maybe it won't break?
That's a great idea!
Love your introduction. What do you do with all your rocks? I can only dream of finding stuff like that. Thx for the great eye candies.
