- We set up encounters between complete strangers, from different faiths and backgrounds in Israeli society. They had one task: to look each other in the eye, silently, for five straight minutes.

نظمنا لقاءات بين غربياء من مقاطع مختلفة في المجتمع الاسرائيلي. كانت مهمتهم بسيطة: ان ينظروا في العيون بعضهم البعض لمدة خمس دقائق كاملة.

Мы собирали в одном месте незнакомых людей из разных сегментов израильского общества. Их задача была проста: смотреть друг другу в глаза в течение целых пяти минут.

Nous avons organisé des rencontres entre des dizaines de parfaits inconnus, dans toutes les mouvances sociales de la société israélienne. Ils avaient une mission: se regarder dans les yeux pendant 5 minutes.

a good project... I still pray for the day where we all stand as humans instead of any other background...
eyes - windows of the soul! the barriers lay on the physical identity. when the souls connect there is only love!
it´s just so beautiful, the soul doesn´t care about background, skin color, religion etc. The soul only see the heart and the pure unconditional love

Omg, that little boy got me :'3 did anybody know why he teared up? I had a few guesses, but I cannot be sure. He's so precious
I interpreted it as though he is of Arab/Palestinian descent and she's Jewish. The boy looks at the girl and it immediately triggers a deeply seeded emotion of fear. He sees her as an extension of the oppressor. The natural response to the "oppressor" in that type of situation is sheer terror and panic. He is crawling out of his skin. One can see how taxing it is on the human psyche to be living in an apartheid state. Her response to him says it all. It's disturbing to watch how this conflict is emotionally, mentally, psychologically, and physically running people into the ground.

Just being present, authentic, vulnerable. It's most often quite beautiful! I've teared up many times, laughed many times. The eyes are a doorway to the soul. Try it!
