Nick with Hannah and her friends was so upsetting to me. It was clearly 3 against 1 and Nick sat there on his best behavior and took it all. I think that’s pretty mature, honestly.
She wanted her friends to grill him since her parents refused to. They had ridiculous points to demean him by as well. Hanna likes to deep clean her living space every single day, Nick said once every week or two he would clean like that. She was mad at him not adhering to her schedule even though she was unemployed and he worked everyday. She told her friends he doesn’t clean, when the fact is that he just doesn’t clean at the same frequency as her, and she was upset about him not taking care of her dog. She was very unreasonable.
Nick is incredibly emotionally mature IMO. His reactions to everything she does and says to him are just always so kind. He doesn't talk shit to the guys. He doesn't kiss and tell. Hannah is interesting because you can see how her demeanor changed around a man she feels she is above/has control over/is nonchalant-doesn’t care about. Compared to when she was interacting with someone she thought was out of her league: total shambles, emotionally unintelligent, desperate, and insecure.
I'm so sorry you experienced that, I've been in several relationships and also a marriage and I can say there are definitely empathetic men out there who don't treat women like that. What I personally think helps me is I usually wait a long time (by my standards lol) to be intimate, at least 6-9 months and past the point that we're already deeply in love, so the foundation is built around friendship not sex
Sometimes it can take men awhile to learn to be empathetic towards a person's feelings other than their own, entitled urges in the moment. To be fair, it can often be the other way around (see 90-Day Fiance-Jasmine/Gino, Matilda/Niles, Lily/Josh, etc.) in which the woman is always pressuring their partner for sex and, when they do, everyone says to the man something like, "dude, just nut up and bang her out one time. What's your problem?" So, at least women aren't usually being pressured by society at large like men usually are in that way.
Please Marissa say no. Please Ashley discover Tyler’s truth. Please Hannah get a damn reality check. Please Taylor get over it and get married to this man who is perfect for you.
I want them to dig into her EVEN MORE if she even tries to not take *full* accountability and authentically apologize. So far, she's been doubling down on Tik Tok with her being a bi+ch!!!
I think that she will hope that everybody just pays attention to her weight loss and try to play the victim. That would be typical of her personality type
Tim was gradually getting nastier on that conversation, because he wasn't getting the reaction he wanted; he was expecting Alex to cry and beg but she was (considering his nasty attitude) pretty calm and collected
The thing I hate is when people disagree over facts. Tim said Alex napped all day. She corrected him that it was from 5pm to 6pm, one hour. Then he goes, "well whatever it was. Can I tell my truth?"That's not a "well whatever," that's a huge difference. There's no "your truth" there's just THE truth. He was just saying anything to try to make her feel bad. Then when she didn't beg for him, he got super nasty. He said "I never want to see you again" with a sneer on his face. He was so angry. What a scary, unbalanced guy.
Right my ex was a narc and I always stayed calm and just be silent and then she start beating me until I’m crying in pain quivering on the floor but still I wouldn’t talk and then she’d gaslight me about my ego being to strong and she can beat me all day let’s I who’s ego is bigger. Soap box time: I'm a 32 year old female, my husband is 28. Although the age gap isn't crazy, there are moments that I'm reminded that he is younger than me, and slightly more immature. THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR NICK (I'm tired of Hannah getting so much attention for her poor behavior) Nick, you might still have some growing up to do, but who is perfect? Are you ready for marriage? That is for NOBODY but you and your potential life partner to decide. I don't see immaturity. Ignorance to certain life tasks does not equate to emotionally immature. What I DO see is a fun, playful guy. Someone who loves being silly, and would thrive with a silly partner that doesn't take life so fucking seriously. Every step of the way I saw you bite your tongue at a woman who treated you in such a vile, disrespectful, demeaning way, when you could've given her what she wanted, blown up at her, and handled the situation with "immaturity". I think as a man and a human, you handled yourself with grace, respect, and patience. THAT is what your future wife will see in you and love you for it. TLDR; Nick, you're going to make some fun loving lady very happy one day. You are not the walking red flag Hannah has gaslit you to believe you are. Hannah? Get some therapy for your projection and insecurities.
Hannah reminds me of the school's biggest bully. She's intentionally intimidating him PUBLICY IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA & PPL ALL OVER THE WORLD VIA TV.. Through her heels in the photos from the way she speaks to him to the way she makes him feel. She enjoys this kind of behavior it makes her feel good play a bad herself just like the school bully. Once they get married something tells me she's going to literally Lord over him and potentially seems like the kind of person who would get physical with him. I can see her shoving him around when there's no cameras around when they're home alone during an argument. SHE IS ANOTHER ANGELA IN THE MAKING!
Yeah I think he’s still grieving and it comes out in other areas of his life . He’s need to heal a little more before trying to date. He’s gonna ruin every relationship until he does
If you think that's the sole reason the rotund lazy sloth who lives in a filthy hoarder house, and had to apologize early for her disrespectful behavior towards her fiance Tim was dumped, then you too are being disingenuous. I literally stood up and applauded when he dropped that dead weight who was, of course, nonchalantly snacking on food throughout the ordeal 🤦🏾♂️😂
Sir, why are you so mad??? That man was a block of ice. I agree that she's definitely not house wife material but with the right man she could get there. He did her a favor, he should of done it before talking to her father. This type a man will quit on his partner in a heartbeat. Life is rough and he's a quitter😊
He already made up his mind before the day even began that he was going to break it off. You can tell from his conversation with his parents. He was totally checked out basically confirming with them he was done. And that was BEFORE the cameras wrapped and the crew left for the day, which is allegedly when she took the nap. He was looking for literally any excuse to bail on her. He just wanted to introduce her to his parents and get them on the show first
Did anyone else feel like Hannah was a boss and Nick was in a job interview every time they had a discussion. Like she was judging every answer to her stupid questions so harshly. It made me very uncomfortable.
True story: my cousin and her husband were expecting a baby and, at 25 weeks, she was put on strict bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy. Her blood pressure had sky rocketed, there was an issue with the placenta and her history of migraines kicked in. She was miserable. Her husband, though, kept pestering her for s*x and when she finally got mad and listed off the various ways she was suffering, he said "Well, there's nothing wrong with your hand". The marriage was over before the baby arrived.
Does anyone else find it interesting that when Hannah was talking to art dealer guy, she’s like “oh I don’t even know what a will is, what is money, I don’t care” and then she straight out drills Nick for his finances and makes fun of him for not knowing how to invest in the stock market… hmm yer okay girl I see you
Exactly. I bet she would have had no problem looking past his lack of financial knowledge if he was the 6ft+ tall, bulky football player she was imagining him to be in the pods.
She thought he would be taller, and that I think, threw her off a little bit. But if the tables were turned and Nick would not have been happy about her weight (that she said she's so insecure about), he would be bashed all over internet... Maybe he is insecure about his height (that he cannot change), but he's a guy so he can't play victim card I guess
I was in a relationship with someone who was coddled by his mom... he never cooked, never even did his own laundry. What I did not do was treat him or speak to him the way Hannah does Nick. I loved him so I did a lot of things for him while showing him how to do those things. He learned over time. By the end, he could clean and cook (even made cheesecake from cultivating yakult) and we did all kinds of things together. If you aren't going to build somebody up, do not be with them.
Thank youuuu like she’s upset she didn’t get some huge buff guy who can make her look small even at her biggest… that’s why she was so upset when she saw nick bc they’re basically the same size and if she ever gains weight again she would be bigger so she acts bitchy bc she knows she Dont want him
Very obvious! She sabotaged it because she doesn’t feel good enough for him but she’s too narcissistic to admit that she feels small inside. She projects and treats people like shit due to her own view of herself. She terrible
The thing is, Hannah's friends haven't seen how she's treated Nick and they're getting all Hannah's complaints and none of Nick's good points. He just TAKES her shit all the time. I don't agree with how they grilled him at all. She has CLEARLY shown that she's unsatisfied with who Nick is so it's disingenuous to say "it's about actions" when she DOES make it into personal attacks so often e.g., "you don't deserve to be treated as an equal". It's legit bullying.
lol jumping in to say, those two friends are defending hannah in her ig posts, saying it's just the edit and that nick is the more manipulative one. even in someone's response to hannah being emotionally abusive, they made jokes about it. maybe they're all the same
I’ll say it again. Hannah is jealous of Nick’s family support. She’s that he doesn’t have to work as hard as she does. All the insults and belittling is out of jealousy.
@_Mr.D they seemed like it but she's basically been on her own since she was 16, and her mom used to hide snacks from her when she was in middle school. That doesn't scream healthy
@xletragedyx What does her size look like to you now? Do you think she looks healthy. I don't know your age, but this young generation knows very little about self-control. When I was in high school in the 70s, we maybe had 5 girls her size. Now, she would be considered on the average size. It's not! So yes, good for her parents for trying to keep her from getting obese. Sorry that showing love this way seems too harsh to you. When you get older, you can parent the way you want and let your kids have anything and do anything they want. And then wait 15 years and see how that turns out. Pfff She obviously was a hard child to deal with, and her personality shows it. Added: if she had married him, you can already see that she would have blown up! I really don't know how this generation accepts this as okay? Basically, so that they don't make each other feel bad, thus accountable.
@xletragedyx So the solution is letting the kid eat as much as they want? The real issue is that they probably allowed it in her early years, but you the time they could see that it was an issue, she was already set in her ways. Indeed people can have eating disorders. You have to remember, Twiggy was popular in my days. Trying to look like her created real eating disorders. But kids today are straight up FAT! And again, if you pamper them, it will NOT go well for them!
I think i disagree with people that nick is using "weaponized incompetence". IMO that means they are intentionally doing it to make you give up and do it yourself. Nick seems to be trying to do the things Hannah says. Because you. can be sure if there were any more scenes of nick being intentionally incompetent production would have likely aired them. Nick is merely inexperienced because his mom has been doing all these things for him. If Hannah would take 2 seconds to give him verbal communication with respect instead of jumping down his throat he'd be fine
Can I just say how impressive it is that Nyyiickk can just be so calm while Hannah berates him?! That takes some self control when someone talks to you the Hannah talks to Nyyiickk.
Yeah, I was thinking she seemed pretty awful, but maybe she just sees through some of the awful guys. I don’t know; or maybe two things can be true at once. Marissa‘s mom is definitely savage.
Nah, mama just got trauma. She didn’t see through anything. Also no one needs to see through Ramses, when he’s being unreasonable its right there on the surface.
I hated how Marissa clearly felt like she had to defend herself and explain herself when she didn't want to sleep with him. So unfair he made her feel that way. I have been where she is and it sucks. I was so shocked to see Ramses behaving like this
Also how she felt she had to justify her military experience. I was proud of her that she went from shame to sticking up for herself in that conversation
I’ve seen a handful of comments saying Nick doesn’t deserve sympathy because he’s immature anyway, and it’s like… that’s not the worst someone can be. He’s not actually hurt anyone, immaturity and inexperience does not warrant abuse, put downs, jabs at his intelligence (you don’t read); it’s really awful and sad. You can think someone is immature and still be in their court, maybe helping them grow in a way that doesn’t entail bullying them until they break. And my jaw dropped at the “no condoms” talk. Are you even serious, dude?
Absolutely right. His maturity is a little annoying, but it's not malicious or harmful. Ramses is gross and I really hope they don't get married. And hi Roses! Happy spooky season!
Nick might be dumb and stupid and incompetent, but he is such a sweet guy. He is so calm and patient. He also seems fun and easy going. He is handsome as hell. AND he is a smooth talker too. I think he might be the only guy this season who hasn’t said something disgusting, and he hasn’t given any signs of anger issues or anything else that is toxic. I LOVE HIM. But this show will be good for him. He is going to be somewhat popular. There will be plenty of girls who will see how cute he is. He will find someone who will help him grow, instead of putting him down for their own ego boost.
Hannah loves those tacky pleather boots.😒 she never looks put together but has so much to say about Nick. Yes, he is a man-toddler but she is insufferable with no self awareness.
Katie kindly and genuinely walking Nick through what is making people perceive/find him “immature” is honestly so lovely. That’s how we can help each other grow - NOT like Hannah. Be a Katie, not a Hannah when trying to help people change. Promise it works soooo much better. Get some therapy Hannah, there’s no shame in needing to change, but there is shame in knowing you need to but not pursuing it. (Hannah if somehow you see this - PLZ find a John Gottman book. It could change your love life to get what you want)
I agree. It was refreshing to hear Katie say Nick leads with overconfidence / ego likely due to insecurity. He probably wouldn’t have ever heard that from someone who isn’t a therapist.
Idk why anyone bought Ramses from the beginning. If he is so great then why is he >35 on his second marriage? That should’ve sparked questions in the pod right there.
She was strictly attacking him with that break up scene and girl ask KATIE ask her what they talked about since u care so much like what was with that jab at his memory and him forgetting things
Honestly Hannah gives me vibes of she was always bullied so now she’s a mean girl and always wants to come off as joking. I was rooting her at first and now I don’t think she’s ready to be married even though she says she is.
Its so crazy how Hannah be verbal/emotionally abusive and Nick saids nothing bad about her. (Literally being the bigger person) Her conclusion - You’re immature When Nick keeps the same energy with jokes and the brother present, then it’s too much.
Hannah did everything in her power to get that boy to leave her. Why the hell was he not getting the signs and somebody did say that Hannah was jealous because his family still helps him out when her family cut her off as a teenager that could be a thing as well.
No not at all. I think she’s fine with her having her own job and does not want to live off of parents because it makes you look like a child in her mind. And she doesn’t want him to leave her because that’s embarrassing for her….she’s a narcissist , she needs reasons to leave which is why she damn near makes up things in her mind.
Hannah thinks she's the prize, and her partner is the loser. It's hard to make a relationship work, if that person makes you feel bad about yourself. And Tim, are we being for real? You had to go to the grocery store by yourself, and now you want to end your marriage? What a baby. Ramses is despicable. Physical intimacy is important, don't get me wrong. But, so is being there emotionally for your fiancée. If a woman thinks you're only being nice because you want to get laid, you're the problem. I hope Marissa dumps him at the altar!
When Tim said “I had to hunt down a bunch of stuff, season meat” dude… have you never done grocery shopping before? Seasoning meat only take a few minutes too and he didn’t have to cook steak and stuff for everyone he could have ordered food lol but he did that to make a good impression on her family like she’s supposed to say thank you every day for that? At first I didn’t like Alex cause she was being dismissive and quick to get mad easily but then again she did say from the get go that she has anger issues so at least she said it but man Tim was just gaslight after gaslight he did too much

Her friends were just as terrible as her - they could have just pulled her aside and said, bitch, this is a bad idea. You don’t even seem to like this dude. Also, Hannah’s parents reaction to her jabs at Nick made it seem like she got kicked out at 18…hence the enhanced bitterness at Nick’s parents doing everything for him.
Okay I thought it was just me. I know he's not like supporting them, but what's she doing all day? How messy could it get with just the two of them, and cleaning every day? She can apply for jobs 6 hours a day and do everything around the house still.
She quit her job to come on the show. I literally clocked that as the potential first red flag bc to me that sounded like she's not leaving without a fiance no matter what

Fearing that Nick may break up with her, she said: "You look hot honey, let's go to bed!" That's manipulation. Hannah tried to change him. It's not right. Yes, he may be immature. I think it's crazy that Hannah thinks he's immature because he's never had to cook before. Idk. I'd rather have a kind man than a "perfect" one.

And you know what? My husband NEVER pressured me, never made me feel bad, reminded me how much he loves me and still gave me love and affection in ways I wanted and felt comfortable with. Hannah is interesting because you can see how her demeanor changed around a man she feels she is above/has control over/is nonchalant-doesn’t care about. Compared to when she was interacting with someone she thought was out of her league: total shambles, emotionally unintelligent, desperate, and insecure.
Such a good point! She’s so insecure. It’s sad.
This is such a good point.
That sexual pressure to perform or get left was AWFUL when I dated men. Even when I was married to a man! They felt so entitled to my body.
Stop crying and enjoy your antimale solitude, if possible. Heterosexual women who actually love men do not speak like you. Thank God.
Ugh yesssss…. I got divorced and decided I’d stay single after continuously ending up on horrendous dates. So so so done with men
I'm so sorry you experienced that, I've been in several relationships and also a marriage and I can say there are definitely empathetic men out there who don't treat women like that. What I personally think helps me is I usually wait a long time (by my standards lol) to be intimate, at least 6-9 months and past the point that we're already deeply in love, so the foundation is built around friendship not sex
I haaaaate hiiim 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
Sometimes it can take men awhile to learn to be empathetic towards a person's feelings other than their own, entitled urges in the moment. To be fair, it can often be the other way around (see 90-Day Fiance-Jasmine/Gino, Matilda/Niles, Lily/Josh, etc.) in which the woman is always pressuring their partner for sex and, when they do, everyone says to the man something like, "dude, just nut up and bang her out one time. What's your problem?" So, at least women aren't usually being pressured by society at large like men usually are in that way.
Please Marissa say no.

They are going in on her on her Instagram. Im surprised she hasn’t turned her comments off 🤦🏽♀️
I think that she will hope that everybody just pays attention to her weight loss and try to play the victim.

@@xletragedyxand I’m sooo frustrated that women keep running to his défense when it’s clear as day what he was trying to do in that conversation.

(I'm tired of Hannah getting so much attention for her poor behavior)
Nick, you might still have some growing up to do, but who is perfect?

Yes, especially when they went for a meeting with her friends
“Have you read?” Girl it’s been 3 weeks!!!!!!!!! Fucking relax!!!!!
Yes it’s narcissistic abuse.
Yes, I can recognize this behavior from an old "friend". I only realized what that was, after I took some distance from her.
That sounds terrible

Not sure that I agree with that. Her parents seemed really cool. She is just a bad egg

Pfff
She obviously was a hard child to deal with, and her personality shows it.
Added: if she had married him, you can already see that she would have blown up! I really don't know how this generation accepts this as okay? Basically, so that they don't make each other feel bad, thus accountable.
@@_Mr.D not only that, but extreme parenting measures like that increase eating disorders. Look at any parenting or psychology book lol

Nick is merely inexperienced because his mom has been doing all these things for him. If Hannah would take 2 seconds to give him verbal communication with respect instead of jumping down his throat he'd be fine

In a way I’m glad they shown this because it shows many things, that men truly don’t get taken seriously when they are abused, and while not as common, women can be abusive! And is Nick really showing weaponized Incompetence? Isn’t weaponized incompetence intent to cause harm…behind the incompetence? I doubt he’s intentionally trying to cause harm
Hannah looks like she whispers "black people" while shit talking.
Edit, the Giggity got me
Hannah looks like a polish settler.
Racism lite. Nice.
I got racism lite vibez when watching Garrett’s mom look at Taylor
“Would I ever go there, no. But is is cool, that a place like this exists.” Best Po quote
I noticed I like watching your recaps before others cause you point out things that other people don't
The way I got so upset by Ramses claiming to care with words, and then doing quite the opposite with his actions. He’s disgusting. The worst kind of man. It’s all about him, and he gaslighting her right to her face. So damn upsetting to watch her struggle.
Hannah is the absolute worst. Just the worst. And I'm sorry this weaponized incompetence is such hooey. Is just a sheltered guy.
The Marissa situation hits home for me. Im a young 33yo F, but because of various issues, mentally and due to medication ,s*x is the last thing on my mind. It takes a toll on a marriage, but a true partner sticks with you through it all. I can say more, but yeah. I feel for Marissa.
I hope you’re safe
In a young 33yo. Lol girl it’s okay to be 33.
❤@@whimrocker
Never said it wasn't okay to be 33 @ibeamy
Po always posts right when I eat dinner. PERFECT
Girl you are killing it! Spittin' out one video after another. Thank you for all your hard work!
Nick's mom probably threw away those pineapples
2:30 if the roles were reversed and it was Nick criticizing Hannah in the same way, everyone would call it abuse.
It is 1:12 am in Germany and I have to work tomorrow but damn, the potato is delivering again ❤
As people comment… behavior shaming is one thing-body shaming is another. Don’t let a bully turn you into one.
I love how Hannah was constantly talking about image and weight in the pods but constantly dictates seems like she’s the one that’s insecure
Hannah is abusive. It’s not just poor communication, it’s abuse.
You're my fav commenter rn LOL They way you say "NIIICKK" you're hilarious 😂
I live for her voice acting, it makes it so much more hilarious
Hannah is SO emotionally UNintelligent that she’s completely insufferable-and ultimately ipso facto immature.
That was abusive… having your friends verbally gang up on YOUR MAN is actually insane!!!! Who does that??????????
5:58 She won't be able to have difficult days in this marriage, he won't allow it. He's not a partner. I really want her mother there.
omg you are so right. It's sad... everyone has bad days, he should put himself into her shoes.
Doesn't the marriage vows literally say "in sickness and in health.... For better or for worse"? Ramses needs a master class on what that entails
I think Hannah is a bully period !
Nick is out of her league 😂
Hannah was such a trash person to Nick, I damn near cried everytime she belittled him.
You cant take dudes who look like Ramses seriously.
I just want to grab those braids and chop them off!
Could do without the Cosby sweaters as well!
Wait! Hannah doesn’t have a job, and she wants this dude to clean her already spotless house and walk her dog when he gets off work?. That’s way too much. She’s just making excuses.
I literally clocked that as the potential first red flag bc to me that sounded like she's not leaving without a fiance no matter what
Hey Po, I think you missed the manipulation part of Hannah: During the fight about Katie, Nick was totally frustrated and done with her. Fearing that Nick may break up with her, she said: "You look hot honey, let's go to bed!" That's manipulation. Hannah tried to change him. It's not right. Yes, he may be immature. The solution is leaving him, not trying to change him and, certainly, not looking down on him. Hannah's parents kicked her out when she was 18. I wonder why.
Watching that part back.. yeah that waS WEIRDDDD her sudden complete shift in mood
