- Welcome to Juneau, Alaska! It is day 5 of our Alaskan vacation aboard the Disney Wonder and we have arrived at Juneau! In todays video we take an early excursion into the wilderness to take a ride on a sled pulled by snow dogs and then get to play with some of the cutest puppies ever! After that we partake in an Alaskan Salmon Bake at Gold Creek! This hidden gem has a beautiful waterfall as well! We end the night having dinner at Animators Palate and watching FROZEN the musical in the Walt Disney Theater!

I have only been on 3 Disney cruises before the pandemic and it has always taken us just about 2 hours in the dining room. Maybe the other cruises there were less people on the ship but now they are back to capacity. Omg I loved the puppies
Juneau was my favorite port on our cruise. We did the Taku Glacier Lodge excursion and it was so amazing. Flew over so many glaciers and we were so close to a mama bear and her two babies. I would live in Juneau if I could.

I think that salmon bake was the same one we went to on our cruise many years ago. There was a baby bear in one of the trees by the fire pits when we were there!! It was so cool.

Nice posting today. Suspension bridges are fun. If and when you come back to Vancouver for a longer visit, I dare you to try out the suspension bridges in North Vancouver (Lynn Canyon bridge is free, Capilano bridge charges but has more touristy stuff). They are a lot longer than the one you walked over with deeper canyons. Or ziplining up in Whistler. Similar scenery as Alaska along the way.

We visited Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. In Skagway we went zip lining.
I believe dinner service is supposed to be longer. It allows you to relax and enjoy your meals. I am used to dinner on cruises lasting almost two hours. Now they would ask if we needed to be some where at a certain time and would make sure to accommodate you.

When its cold what do you do on the ship all day. You cant swim and you cant really do any outdoor activities. I was just wondering how do they entertain the guest all day
