I like how these LG Phones have a built in FM Radio App if you don't want a pay Radio App like Iheart or Pandora it also comes in handy if you in a Power outage you can use it to stay on top of what is happening in Emergency Situations
You can always use the internet to stay updated on weather situations in a power outage, and your local news's weather app is probably a better resource than the radio for updates.

I used to have the 1st Aristo. I was generally satisfied because it was free. The only issue i had was when unlocking it using my pin code at times it would freeze up during unlocking. That would aggravate me immensely. It broke later, by accident. Then went to an iPhone. Big difference
Using this phone right now, for about 2 months now. No issues other that it froze once on me and I couldn't reset it because I didn't read the instructions and battery is non removable. Paid $100 as my previous phone broke and I needed something budget friendly for now. I'll toss it as soon as I can get it unlocked and upgrade to a different mid tier phone. Reliable and practical otherwise. And fingerprint sensor is solid, works quick and doesn't give me errors, unlocks 99% of the time.
Hey Kevin I just got this phone actually yesterday at the T-Mobile store I recently had I recently had a 11 Galaxy but I turned it back because it didn't have the future of having your caller ID called out or text message called out that's one of the features that I like so I know who's calling or texting me without having to pick up my phone overall it's an okay phone the only tricky thing is when you're trying to close on the app pushing that button at the bottom to close out all the apps is a little tricky

To answer "How to swipe apps away", I've found that from any app, you press the 1" bar at the bottom center of the screen and swipe up the full screen and it goes away to the recent apps page, also accessed by swiping the same movement (only push it upwards only halfway up the screen) to view all recent apps (to completely remove the apps, simply finish swiping it up and off the screen). This is all different from what I'm used to with having the bottom row, home & app control buttons like: circle=home, square=recent apps and triangle= back button. Have you figured out how to have the bottom display those home & apps access buttons instead of the much less useful 1" bar at the bottom (which can only seem to send you to phone home page or recent app drawer)??? If the G90 Pro is in your budget, definitely go for it over the Aristo 5. The specs are much better, the G90 has 4GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a much bigger battery, a 1080p display, and a Helio G90T processor.
Just keep in mind that BLU has faced controversy in the past for violating their customers privacy and transferring some of their data to Chinese Servers. Personally I would buy the Aristo 5, but if you have a larger budget I would highly recommend the Google Pixel 4a; LG K51; Samsung A11/A21/A51 ; or the IPhone SE 2020.
I am just waiting for the release of LG Q92 since that thing seems like going to start the trend of really good midrangers by LG and hopefully afterwards LG will expand making good deals at the budget price

You need an upgrade big time, you should get one of those samsung A series phones yeah they aren't the best but they're better than what you have now, and plus it'll get you a way better OS feeling since Im pretty sure aristo 1 doesn't have the latest Android OS
If you are asking how to open the recent apps then all you have to do is swipe up and hold on the bar at the bottom of the screen. The gesture navigation system is similar to iphone x and above

Probably the best Aristo in my opinion is the LG Aristo 2. It was better than the first one in every way and even still to this day

Definitely get the K51, it has a slightly bigger screen, more battery life and a triple camera setup. 😉💯👌🏾

I had the same issue. Go to settings, choose the display option, and you should be able to navigate it from swiping to the button option.
