Friendly FYI: Gojo vs Makima is without a doubt going to involve massive manga spoilers. You can't do that matchup without them. I'm excited for it though, it's the biggest back and forth powerscaling debate in recent years and anyone who says Gojo sweeps or Makima sweeps is trolling, it's close as hell and flips like every other day. Personally leaning Gojo right now but that could easily change. as for this episode: the result of the matchup was never up for the debate and they never said so in the episode. no one really doubted Frieza would defeat G1 Megatron, and that's what he did. It was a question of whether or not they would use any other continuities, because there are many where Megatron wins. Personally i think not using the continuity that could have given us Gold Frieza vs Gold Megatron is very boring, but that's a matter of taste i suppose. The verdict we got made sense for western G1 Transformers and was satisfying.
i will say the general consensus is the more agreed upon winner for gojo vs makima is gojo, his arguments are a bit more grounded and less speculative to some extent.
Biggest takeaway from this battle was that Frieza better be glad it wasn’t Shockwave that he faced. Shockwave in his Regenesis form nearly collapsed a multiverse. But I’m happy Megs got portrayed with the respect he deserved, nearly one-shotting Frieza in his most powerful form is no small feat.
for the next death battle by the way (spoilers ahead) I think makimas only way of winning is using her contract with the prime minister of japan that is to put any damage makima takes and give it to a random japanese citizen to pass infinity since gojo is a japanese citizen, but other than that i think makima would have no other abilities to bypass infinity meaning that if gojo can bypass that contract then he will win.

Come on... lets be real with ourselves. We all knew Frieza was going to win.
Yeah but it was good though.
Not really since there was so much discourse on what was going to be used for Megatron.
No

100% Agree :)
