I just finished up an engine rebuild following one of your previous videos and I’m having a problem shifting the bike in a gear higher than 1st. The bike only goes in neutral and 1st, no reverse or anything higher than 1st. The bike shifted through all the gears before slapping the front cover on but when we went to shift it in the bike that’s what we were left with. Just seeing what you might think could be the problem before I tear it back down again
@ the main shift shaft? Update we got it to shift through all gears with the cover off and standing upright but as soon as we put it level and the cover back on it does it again
i hope this isn’t a dumb question. but i’m trying to take out the nut holding the clutch on. & the whole clutch just spins freely. how did you get your clutch to lock in to take that nut off? any help will be appreciated.
Hey buddy I have a 2014 420FA1 , auto -esp .. sra is reduction same has 29.5 sassy.. clutch is slipping now don't know what in it now gr, can I count teeth, cause it may have gr in now, do you know teeth count...35, 53, thanks
Hondabond or grey rtv. And the clutch basket i just go until tight, ans the centrifugal clutch you tighten it up where there is just a little back and forth movement as you see in the video. Thats how i do it, im not sure on torque specs
what happens if you overtighten centrifugal clutch. I just watched this video after I did mine to verify everything the only thing I did differently was just tighten the centrifugal clutch and didn't check for playm reguard less where the gears mesh together I had the slightest bit of movement so I'm thinking it may wear some stuff down but be ok as I drove it amd everything seems fine.
@@vesselpowersports Ive got a 520 Rubicon and want to run 29.5" Assanators without a gear reduction... do you think it'll get bogged down or can it spin them pretty good

Shift the shaft forward or back, should fix it!

Hold it tight with your hand and a rag
How long did you take to put it back on and completely finish

Isn’t that timing chain pretty stretched out?I can’t really tell
Nope, its a new wiseco chain
No, the guides make it look like it’s sagging but it’s tight.
Where can I buy a 35 percent gear reduction?
reduction boss
You said lift up on the shifter what if it's a automatic
Does that 520 on assanators have a gr
Yes, 53%

It will have np if you have a dct transmissin and you put it in low
Do you gotta pull the motor when doing clutches? 10 rancher 420? And does a clutch kit really do anything?
How much would it cost for you to do mine
Unfortunately we aren't doing any installs at the moment
Awesome video!
Thanks!
With the 53 did you have to use washer behind GR
no, didn't use any shims for it
Great video
Thanks!
Serious question, what way does the neutral switch face in the case, does the long or short side face neutral? Ple help

Might be a over asked question but, what tire size is the starting point for needing a gear reduction. I have a 2017 foreman 500 FS
I’m in need of one and I’m on 28 in Moto havocs
@@TrentonHuggins my stock 500 is turning 29.5 outlaw 3s with relative ease but I still want to look into a gr
