The authentic one is less durable with the logos only being heat pressed and sometimes the logos on the kit that player used on the pitch came off during a game and you can see some player in the pitch using a kit that have no logos on it
Funny how with NBA jerseys the heat pressed is always the swingman yet on Soccer jerseys the swingman equivalent (supporters) is stitch and the on-field (authentic) are all heat pressed.

My girl recently bought me a custom jersey with my name and number. its pretty much the same jersey, just different year runs. In older runs (2020 most likely built in 2019) they have the Nike connect features (discontinued app feature). The late 2020/21 jerseys change the jocktag look and retail tag placement. But its essentially the same jersey

so unfortunately they released in early 2021 and they are mostly sold out. They have limited amounts of authentic version jerseys and it's hard to find at this time of the year. I feel like the only place you could find them now is by resellers on Ebay and other 3rd party sellers channels
Also you can check eBay and Facebook marketplace. I copped a swingman for 85! (Just make sure you watch a couple videos distinguishing real from fake ones)
Basically it goes down to preference. If you want the same on court jerseys, the authentics is the way to go. Stitched and have all the details. If you just want fan friendly price jerseys, the Nike Swingman is the way to go.

So depending on the jersey (year it was built) it had different materials. The Aeroswift Materials were used for Nike Authentics from 2017-2019. They switched over in late 2019-2020 to Vaporknit

i think it depends. Authentics will have a little more value but some swingman runs are gonna be limited (city edition ect). Like I was able to sell the Phoneix Suns Valley swingman for 2.5X retail. So it just depends on the jersey

if its your favorite player. I'd save for an authentic. If you get them from the Raptors team store, it'll come with the sponsor patch. The big retailers dont have the patches, so it'll come as is.

Nah a swingman is basically the most basic NBA jersey Nike makes. The fakes are made differently and not made by Nike's factories. The fakes will illegally use Nike's logo to make it look like they made it

I think you'll be alright. Its better to air dry it for longevity purposes. But I don't think (to my knowledge) of it shrinking.
In 17-18 the swingman jerseys used to come out wrecked when you washed them but I’m glad Nike fixed that

They're sizing is pretty similar. Chest is just a little more tapered on the authentic. The authentic always are so limited, so I know the struggle

i think it depends. Authentics will have a little more value but some swingman runs are gonna be limited (city edition ect). Like I was able to sell the Phoneix Suns Valley swingman for 2.5X retail. So it just depends on the jersey

So it's actually worth buying an authentic if u have never owned one if u wear a swing man vs authentic is it a huge difference only jersey I am considering ordering is the new raptors ones since it comes with the sun life and I live in Canada so it would make sense I've been trying to hold off for a bucks authentic but to long of a wait since they didn't even come out with the final NBA patch on I bought they'll come with a authentic one and I wan't it with the motorola patch too but that won't probably happen since pre season is almost here
if its your favorite player. I'd save for an authentic. If you get them from the Raptors team store, it'll come with the sponsor patch. The big retailers dont have the patches, so it'll come as is.

Swingman is shorter. The authentics have a +2 inch length

my ad jersey started to peel, how do i fix it
sorry to hear that man. I haven't had to do that yet with my swingman jersey but i've done it on other clothing. I used fabric glue and it held up for a bit. But i'm not too knowledgeable on fixing these.

Nah a swingman is basically the most basic NBA jersey Nike makes. The fakes are made differently and not made by Nike's factories. The fakes will illegally use Nike's logo to make it look like they made it
