Hyundai Staria is sold as a comfortable 8 seat configuration around the world and is competing against Estima, Tarago, Elgrande and Carnival etc. 11 seaters are not comfortable for adults, especially in the last 2 rows and also compromises the luggage space too. It May work as a school van for kids - but if that's the end goal then buying 8 x Suzuki dubba's is a better option.
As usual people spouting off without the facts, the reason it has 11 seats is because in Pakistan it gives big tax advantages as it lowers the taxes you have to pay. Once you get the vehicle home there is nothing to stop you removing the rear seat and pushing your seats back so you have a roomy 8 seat vehicle with luggage space.
I dont understand why companies launch these so expensive cars while they have lot of room for mid range price cars which attracts more buyers anyways beside front look Its an old school car in my point of view
If it will be 30% to 40% less in price than KIA grand carnival then sure it is worth considering Other wise I don't think people would go for a VAN looks at least not (Pricing is the main factor)

This looks modern too but the fact the the engine bay is so close to the driver’s seat makes it look like a van. That’s the reason why Carnival just edges it out. Even if they stretched the front area like in carnival it would look much desirable.
Don't compare this to Carnival. No doubt this is futuristic looking but it still looks like an MPV while Carnival is definitely more appealing like an SUV.

Market is in need of 1000Cc, not much competition in 1000Cc category and its the car for most of the public. We have only Picanto and Cultus in this category and both car auto variant is not available in market, so huge space for new 1000Cc Auto car. But everyone is launching Cross-over, MPVs and Executive class sedan :)

I think we should get the 7 seats variant like the one's selling in Japan & US because this 11 seats variant from inside looks like an expensive school van that is way to expensive for commercial use so No driver or any transport agency will think of buying but if we can get the Japanese variant people will easily consider it as a family van or big companies can use it as travel vehicle for their executive or board members which can easily justify it's 7.1 to 9.6 million price tag
