About us:
Our church began in Sydney in 2001 after a group of saved Bible believing baptists came together with a common desire to have a church which truly believed and taught the King James 1611 Bible is the word of God. This is because they grew weary of being in churches which just used the KJV and claimed they believed it only to have the pastors and teachers claim later it had errors and contradictions.
The group then sought out a pastor and meeting place. In a short time God provided both! The group contacted and visited Pastor John Wheat in Queanbeyan NSW who believed the Bible and had started a Bible believing Baptist church there. After this group of believers shared their heart and vision, God called Pastor John Wheat to Sydney to help establish the church there. Pastor Wheat turned the church in Queanbeyan over to a young man he had trained in the ministry and moved to Sydney where Open Bible Baptist Church was formed. God called Pastor Wheat home to heaven after pastoring the church for 10 years.
Pastor Jason Young was saved at the age of 15 and called to preach at 17. He surrendered to go to Bible school shortly afterwards and attended and graduated from Pensacola Bible Institute. Upon graduating God dealt with his heart about going to the mission field. In 2006 he came to Australia to visit and help out on the mission field. While he was there God confirmed in his heart the call to Australia. After ministering in Australia for 8 years God called him to be our Pastor in 2014.

I like Dr Gene Kim. Why? Because he's a great pastor. He's entertaining to listen to and educational. But, do I adore idols? No! Why? I only adore Jesus Christ. Why? Because He died for us. He gave us Salvation from the punishment we would otherwise pay for our sins.

This understanding of the spirit = breath has to be one of the most difficult teachings for me to understand, despite years of sitting under Bible believing preachers. Even tonight, hearing spirit = breath, air as a pneumatic drill, then Adam sinned and died spiritually...and then everything switches to the Holy Spirit. Seems different spirits are involved but not clearly defined. Not defined for me, anyway.
Just this week, I discovered a KJB Bible believing Pastor Kumar from India. I found him on a YT channel, after listening to an audio teaching of the late Dr Ruckman. Dr Ruckman mentioned him by name more than a few times as he explained different experiences he had during his frequent trips to India. He and Pastor Kumar worked closely for several years.
I could be wrong on this, but pretty sure Dr Ruckman, with hearty laughing, told of Kumar's church named, Pensacola Bible Baptist Church of India!
He's a great teacher and sure seems like strong student of Dr Ruckman's! Lots of verses with the clear teaching. I just started his series of the body, soul, and spirit. The first video I watched is linked below.

After all these years, just that one video already answered more questions than any of my studying or any other source from Bible believing pastor/teachers.
I look forward to viewing the next video with hopefully a more full grasp of the spirit.
One thing he mentioned in video, is that when a man dies, a saved man and or an unsaved man,..each of their spirits return to God. Because God gave them that spirit=breath. The above video kept this spirit of breath separate from the Holy Spirit. Anyway, very exciting teaching I mention for anyone else who may be struggling.
Correction ... to my paragraph 2...Pastor Kumar Church not called Pensacola Baptist Church.... I just happened across another video with the correct information that Dr Ruckman was in Seoul Korea, and it was Koreans that named their church Pensacola Baptist Church.

Yes it's true that there are practice, teachings or commandment in the Old Testament that cannot be applied today. But there are laws and doctrines in the Old Testament that cannot be denied because it is carried over by the Saviour on the New Testament.
An honest truth seeker with so much faith in him will know these things by the power of the Holy Ghost.

For All: Please be aware, a person must trust/believe in their heart ONLY on the following to receive the UNMERITED FREE GIFT of salvation (born again), and be forgiven of all sins (past/present/future). The gospel (good news) by which believers are saved:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) - "Christ (Jesus, God the Son who came as God in flesh) died (shed his blood) for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was Buried, and he Rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
God wants to Give the FREE GIFT of salvation to every person, BUT, there is ONE Condition: Trust ONLY on Jesus’ payment for all sins at the cross. Notice God describes what he did to pay for our sins, not what we do to earn salvation. This is a One Time Decision and ONE STEP. When a person trusts in their heart (Believes) ONLY on Jesus' payment for our sins at the cross, they are made Born again by God (made spiritually sinless); Forgiven of all sins-past/present/future, SAVED, and PERMANENTLY SEALED. All born again believers will leave at the Rapture.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) - “For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that NOT of yourselves: it is the gift of God; NOT of works, lest any man should boast.” (Faith ALONE Only on Jesus’ death (shedding of his blood), burial, resurrection ALONE, is required. GRACE means UNMERITED FREE GIFT. NO human effort or works can be involved in receiving or keeping salvation. Believing the New Testament Gospel of Salvation, plus NOTHING, results in Salvation.)
Please be aware, Salvation is NOT received if we have any faith/trust for salvation on ANY Human Effort, such as Repenting of Sins, Confessing, Giving your Heart or Life to God, Praying, Turning from Sins, Confirmation, Asking the Lord to Come into your Heart, Calling, Loving the Lord, Following the Lord, Religious Works, Commandment Keeping, Mary, or Water Baptism, etc, etc.....
IF we believe we are saved (made born again by God) based on faith PLUS ANY human effort, or by human effort alone, then we are Not under Grace (UNMERITED FREE GIFT), but are under the law (God’s commandments), Condemned, and Not saved.
Romans 11:6 (KJV), “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace....”
We Cannot be Saved with any Faith for Salvation on Water Baptism or any Works / Human Effort:
1 Corinthians 1:17 (KJV) - “For Christ sent me NOT to BAPTIZE, but to preach the gospel; not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of NO EFFECT.”
Faith Only on Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, not water baptism, must be the way of receiving salvation. Water baptism was for people (primarily Jewish) offered salvation and the kingdom on earth by the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom, where a work under Old Testament law, water baptism, was required commandment keeping, which ONLY showed evidence of their saving faith.
The thief on the cross was NOT water baptized, but he was saved. So, even when water baptism was commanded, which was under OT law, it was not required for salvation.
We are NOT under OT law:
Romans 10:4 (KJV), “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
If we trust on any works or human effort for salvation, we will NOT be saved.
Galatians 3:10 (KJV), “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.”
(We can’t continue in all things of the law (10 commandments), because we have already BROKEN the law, and are condemned by the law.)
Galatians 5:4 (KJV), “Christ is become of NO EFFECT unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (works); ye are fallen (separated) from grace (not saved).
Romans 3:20 (KJV), “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:....”:
More Verses on HOW TO BE SAVED (BORN AGAIN):
Acts 16:30-31(KJV) - “The Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
(‘Believe’ for Salvation in the New Testament means trust in your heart only on Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) death (shedding of his blood), burial, and resurrection.)
Romans 3:28 (KJV) - “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law”
Romans 4:5 (KJV), “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness”
Once Saved Always Saved and Eternal Security for the Born Again Believer:
We MUST Be Born Again (made permanently spiritually sinless by God) by FAITH ALONE; then we have Eternal Security, and CAN’T LOSE Salvation. Believing that a person can lose salvation means we incorrectly believe we can obtain or keep salvation, which includes leaving in the rapture, by HUMAN EFFORT. That means we approach God for salvation with faith on HUMAN EFFORT, and that means NO salvation:
John 3:3 (KJV), “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Titus 3:5 (KJV), “NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.”
Ephesians 4:30 (KJV), “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are SEALED unto the day of redemption.”
John 6:37 (KJV), “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I WILL NO WISE CAST OUT.”
John 10:28-29 (KJV), “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and NO MAN is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.”

39:05 Paul says that when he prays alone he has an unknown language coming out . He says that it happens to him when words become irrelevant to express his prayer, during very intimate moments alone with the Lord. Many Christians also experiment that when they pray alone in the secret place.
The speaking in tongues they gave a gospel message to all the Jews who had come to Jerusalem for the feast and they all spoke in languages of the countries they lived in and the speaking was a confirming word of salvation through the resurrected Jesus Christ.
I have appreciated dr Kim’s teachings but the claim about sabbath being observed on Sunday without a text doesn’t sit well with me. Because Zechariah 14 is for a time to come and it talks about God’s sabbaths being observed in the mellinial reign which hasn’t occurred yet. I would love scriptural proof that people who follow God and his messiah should do away with sabbaths.
I am not my body, gender, race, religion or nationality; rather, I am an immortal spiritual being (soul/consciousness) having a temporary physical experience in an Earth human body, one of many my soul will occupy on its long journey back to Source/God/Creator. All souls emerged from Source; all souls will return. Nobody gets left behind.

The whole reason for tongues and those other gifts and signs of Mark 16:17-18 are for those believers (outside of this Dispensation: before and after) are for the sole purpose of preaching that Gospel of the Kingdom to every nation before the end comes, during the Tribulation, the 70th week. We see it playing out in the 144,000 of Revelation which are everyone of them Jews. In this Dispensation we are building the Body of Christ Church in which there is neither Jew nor Gentile, but they are Jews, because that happens after (it began to happen before this Dispensation started, but Israel fell in unbelief) this Dispensation is over and God is once again calling out to Israel. Today, they are not His people, but He will lure them back to Himself, and those that do answer His call will be ISRAEL, the remnant of Jews that will be saved, the little flock, Spiritual Israel. That is who rules with Christ in the Kingdom on earth forever.
But that 70th week was put on hold for the current Dispensation that was never before revealed in scripture until it was revealed to Paul first and foremost primarily for the Gentiles because Israel fell in unbelief.
They are A NATION of Kings and Priests. We are not a single nation, we are a Body, a New Creation that never existed before. They rule on earth forever, we are eternally in the Heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1. We are blessed with every Spiritual blessing Ephesians 1:3. They are equal to the Angels, but we judge (rule, govern) the Angels 1 Corinthians 6:3
This was one of the hidden mysteries revealed to Paul that had Satan known this, he never would have crucified Christ. Both heaven and earth are to be gathered back to God through Christ. Ephesians 1:10 There is absolutely no mention of this in OT Scripture so Satan had no idea.
All this just in case someone wants to go deeper. The deeper we go into understanding the Word, the more addictive it becomes. Start by understanding the mysteries. Colossians 2:2, Romans 16:25, Ephesians 1 and 3, Colossians 1:25-26, 1 Timothy 1:16, 1 Corinthians 4:1 and so many more...

You have erred in some things and done well in others. There is no such thing as dispensationalism. Our relationship to God is tied to Jacob's sons, specifically Ephraim and Manasseh. Furthermore, we, who are believers are both the kingdom of God and the Kingdom of heaven. For the Lord dwells in physical flesh which is us. We are the temple of God. Therefore, the world falls or stands because of the Saints. Christ is ruling and reigning through us. The Head in heaven and His body on the earth. It is true that the kingdom of heaven in its fullness has not been established. For the heavenly has to be established before the physical. The inner instead of the outer. For it is the inner that cleanses the outer. In the same way the outer is being perfected by the inner, so is the kingdom of Heaven being perfected by the kingdom of God. Very good, all that you speak about in Acts is true. You have spoken correctly about Matthew and Mark. Matthew has to do with the kingdom of heaven and Mark the kingdom of God. Mark gospel starts Jesus off as the Son of God and not the Son of Man. This is very important to understand.

@justifiedfreely6715 he definitely isn’t a liar and he immediately took away the tree that would give them physical life if they ate from it. Also, there is no mention anywhere in scripture of a person saved or unsaved with a dead spirit. Pharaoh in Genesis 41:8 his spirit was troubled. Deuteronomy 2:20 God hardened the spirit of Sihon king of Heshbon. In I Chronicles 5:26 God stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria. In II Chronicles 36:22 and Ezra 1:1 the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia.
Job 21:4b why should not my spirit be troubled? Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
This verse alone tells us that the spirit in man is used through inspiration from God to give man understanding.
Other verses. Job 32:18, Job 34:14, Psalm 31:5, Psalm 32:2, Proverbs 16:32, Proverbs 18:14, Proverbs 20:27, Proverbs 25:28, Ecclesiastes 8:8,
Isaiah 26:9, Ezekiel 13 :3 ¶ Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
In Daniel 2:1&3 Nebuchadnezzar - his spirit is troubled

James 2: 26 ¶ For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Notice without the spirit the body is dead. That presents a huge problem for a “dead spirit”

@justifiedfreely6715 I also don’t fully understand it. The Calvinist uses this idea of a dead spirit to argue that man is totally depraved and because his spirit is dead he can do nothing to come to God. They believe his spirit has to be quickened before he actually believes. I don’t know that I’m explaining their theology well but that is the idea. I don’t believe that at all. If man’s spirit is dead then they may have a point. However, there is no indication at all in Scripture that man has ever had a dead spirit. Quite the opposite seems to be true. God can communicate with an unregenerate man. I think a lot of Christian’s try to use bad theology because on the surface it seems to make some sense. I see this as a danger even though often i think it is simply innocent but also ignorant.

I do believe that some of pastor Kim's teachings seems to be a little hard to digest and even feels wrong at times. But i have to first have a really good knowledge of the topics to be able to make a clear judgement

In the gospel of John chapter 1 it explains everything.
After the resurrection, the Spirit and the body of the Lord reunites again. An immortal and glorified body. It tells that God is not a spirit but has a body of flesh and bones.
" God is spiritual..So we must worship Him in spirit and truth does not mean that he has no body but he is a spiritual Being so we have to worship in Spirit and truth
Isn’t Jesus the body. The exact representation of God the Father in flesh. And our glorified bodies will make us like Him (Jesus). Because John 4:24 says God IS a spirit.

Jesus created us, not God. John 1 gives us the creation account before the creation, not Genesis. Ephesians 3:9, written by Paul, confirms John 1: “God…created all things by Jesus Christ.” Having been “the Word”-the Spokesman-for all eternity, Jesus said many times throughout His ministry that He only stated what God wanted Him to say. Psalm 33 states, “By the Word of the LORD were the heavens [the universe] made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth…For He spoke, and it was done” (vs. 6, 9). Since Jesus Christ and the Father were both present during the creation week, Genesis 1:26 naturally speaks of “Us” and “Our” when referring to God. Yet, again, it was Christ who actually did the creating of “all things.” The very first thing that CHRIST created after man was the Sabbath. This occurred over 2,000 years before the first Jew (the man named Judah) was born. The Sabbath was never merely for the Jews, or ancient Israel. The Sabbath was made “for man”-first, for Adam and Eve in the Garden, and for all other men ever after.
