lol.... RLCS is the peak of ability and the term freestyler has become redundant. Call me negative, but reality is negative. Freestylers by definition have nowhere near enough speed/efficiency in tactical situations to test the current meta. Zen and most modern super mechanical players show that the line that was between the classification of freestyler/pro player that existed does not exist anymore. They are an amalgamation of the two ideas. Hate to say it but you can already see from his play and inconsistent ability that no amount of commitment or improvement over time will cover for the flaws in his gameplay.
I genuinely believe that with your mechanics alone, and what ive seen of your gamesense, you coulde definately go pro if you keep grinding. Keep it up i believe in you bro ❤
good luck on your journey! I think an easy tip is to watch a lot of rocket league. idk how much you already watch but maybe watch some pros you like/pros you think you play similar to and compare it to your own recordings. try to focus on a few things to "take" from them. also shooting is something few practice much but being confident in slapping shots full power (without flipping too) will do lots for your game.
Keep going man. u got this! a lil advice: try to minimize the ammount of wave dashes open field. it'll put you out of position sometimes. i did it aswell but since i stopped that my timing increased a lot.
Good luck, I hope you go pro, one thing I have noticed is that you use a bit of boost on rotations and when your not in the play, try using wavedashes and flips instead, but I really hope you go pro, you'll be my fav pro for sure. keep up the good work, love your channel ❤❤
@@darkdba8136 u should always opt to flip/wavedash instead of boost when possible, u just have to know when that choice is available ie. Never flip during 50s ur not involved with.
ive been talking to some friends about seeing an all freestyler team in RLCS because I think they would do well from a mechanics stand point alone, once you learn rotations and game sense I bet you will do well, best of luck to you
from a mechanical standpoint they would be shit in rlcs it doesnt matter how many flip resets you can do all it matters is how good you are at the basic mechanics like double taps or simple flip resets
and you really think he is not good at basic mechanics like that? like he said in his intro, an unexpected maktuf reset might throw the opponent off but only in choice situations, its not like i expect to see a hexa reset in rlcs, but the higher skill ceiling of mechanics he has might allow him to do something that only high level freestylers would be able to do and throw off the opponent once in a while@@Matthewz_Ws
Mechanics are hardly ever important unless it’s a really stressful situation and then most pros can handle them being able to 10x reset isnt important. It’s all about game sense and adaptation at that level
yo i really believe you’ll do good in rlcs bro u have the mechs nd everything for it nd show off in them showcase matches and one thing, i think your better in the octane
Je suis content de savoir que je suis pas le seul français à regarder ces vidéos, quand j'ai vu les 2 zigotos qui s'insultaient et jxsh qui captait rien ct vrmt marrant
I watch a lot of pros on youtube and you are doing pretty well but there is one thing to overcome , either to controll the ball or shoot instead or even backwall pass into your teammate instead of shooting so just banging the ball. I think you said it right you have to know when to use the mechanics but its really hard to know that
Good luck! Will be interesting to see someone with this level of mechanical skill go pro. Since I am lower rated than you are I'm not going to try and point out any mistakes. However (I am sure you know this), try to question *everything* and find out why you do these things. Try to really root out any bad habits that you might have that make sense in a freestyling context and won't make sense in a competitive context.
from what ive seen ur hesitating a lot. which leads to bad decision making... ur fixated on making the best decisions at every possible moment, just go for the ball and dont hesitate thats better than sitting back and doing nothing or just doing the wrong thing ur gonna get better eventually so dont overthink it. other then that great job
You are spending quite a bit of time on the wall, use your neutral jump while facing donwards to get off the wall faster, the no freestyle ranked sessions look way cleaner tho
just one thing i saw in the first kick off, try cheat up with either flipping or not boosting. Using boost on kick off is good if you tryna hard cheat, but in 2s and mostly 3s, i recommend try spare as much as u can🙌
I didn't notice allot that you coulda improve on fast, but one of the tips I have for you is if the ball is pushed into the corner 4:12 and the opponent has the ball behind them, they are able to see you and jump over your bump like he did, but since he's pushed up into the corner, you can jump aswell, it's not going to commit you in any way (since you can wavedash and turn in) and it has a higher chance of giving you the demo, this exact situation happens on average twice a game, it's a good idea to take advantage of it whenever this happens (+ happy to see you're back)
The french guys were together before the game and apparently it wasnt going very well so they trash talked each other at the begining like the game was already gg
in terms of 2s since youre playing 2s in this video, id say some general tips would be When becoming 1st man, if possible, create time for your teammate to rotate out and be aware of his position so you can adjust when passing or rotating out Playing 2nd man in 2s is unsupported as compared to 3s, so playing a little deeper in terms of shadowing/supporting first man would've benefitted you in these few games playing deep for support of the 2st man is better than playing deep only for the purpose of boost, its better to play small pads more than 100 pads in 2s the secondary focus's would be demos/bumps while rotating or when possible, disrupting any dribble plays early or air plays and lastly being able to stay in the play on low boost hovering around small pads and yeah i know others have their ideas and might think mine are wrong but ya know its okay
Alot of mechanical people think that the best way to go about is simple, like for example instead of going for a reset flick above prejumper, they 50 them. What I mean here is that one of the best things to think about in rocket league is “how do I beat him to the ball”. Sometimes happens to me too, I play simple instead of mechanical, with a shove away your mechanics because of flashy = bad mindset. But players like you and me who spent almost all their hours on mechs means we are better/more precise on our ball/car control. Edit: note that flashy isn’t the same as unnecessary, an open net is still an open net so it’s way better to go for a shot rather than a double touch, but to use mechanics to outplay opponents when needed
The main things I noticed wrong in your playing is that you're either too far away from the play allowing to much space between you and your tm8, and you do too many turns away from the ball. I may only be gc1 but I'd consider my game awareness, rotations, and decision making solid, so I'd appreciate it if you gave my advice at least a thought in your gameplay. I love your playstyle, one of my favorite freestylers and its nice to see you trying to get better, keep working.
You will probably never read this comment but my advice would be to look for the cars on the field more then for the ball. Helped me to rank up aswell its just so much better for rotation, bumps etc.
