you guys definitely should throw out more every time i die songs as options. Keith lyrics are always amazing. he is one of the best songwriters ever lyrically.
he's an incredible lyricist for sure. Definitely one of the best out there when it comes to singers. Those are different skills sets, but we just expect good singers and good lyrics. It's awesome when you get both.
Really enjoyed seeing a cover of a metal song. The stark contrast between the two genres made this episode extra interesting. Would definitely love to see more episodes showing completely different genres.
you guys need to get the original band's reaction. I would be really interested to know what ETID thinks of this cover and the conversation between the two bands would be excellent. Also if each band had to cover one of the others songs and THEN they meet and listen and discuss. Fun. I'm sure you guys have tons of ideas like those on your road map. Get some money and dooooo it!
Another fantastic show. I wasn't familiar with the band, but the vocals made me want to check out their original material. Streaming them on Spotify now...
Every Time I Die brought me here and this show/ep was thoroughly enjoyable. Only note is I would've loved to see their reaction throughout the whole original song.
What a novel concept! This is a crazy difficult task, and somehow Valley Queen made a really good song in just an hour -- that bears no resemblance to the original. ETID is legit one of my favorite bands, and although the band is not Valley Queen's "jam" they managed to compliment ETID in total earnesty & sincerity.
7:50 that drop hit. I love ETID lyrics & this was a awesome cover. I smiled so hard when she said it seem like its spoken word lol ......wait til you hear it
We're coming back with new episodes early next year! We had to take some time off, but we have several episodes shot and we'all have more info soon. Thanks for watching!
singer (the entire video): this might be a singer/songwriter....it seems like a folk song. ETID plays. singer (listening): the entire time i thought it might be a metal song!
I would watch a show of you just interviewing people. Your questions are so off-color and interesting, but not in a vaguely creepy way like Eric Andre. Like, if Eric Andre is the crack cocaine of interviewers, you are the marijuana.
What they said at the end about tone perfectly summed up why this channel is badass. Also do you post the episodes to any music subreddits? You could use the exposure. And I could use the karma.
When she said that, we got super excited that she picked up exactly what we're going for. And please, post away! It really helps us when people share the show.
It would be great if you could put the cover artists social media / bandcamp / soundcloud etc in the description. Edit: Nevermind, I didnt finish the whole video, I see the annotations now!
Love this series! The final part of the episode should be a reaction to the music video, not just the song. It could be almost like the fine bros react series.
This is amazing. I love Keith's unique ability to write a song with little to no repetition. Stumps the shit out of these guys. "uhh yeah that's the chorus, no this is! Wait! This is the chorus!"
you guys definitely should throw out more every time i die songs as options. Keith lyrics are always amazing. he is one of the best songwriters ever lyrically.

ETID FOREVER, planet shit is the truth!!!!
I love map change and revival mode. It's weird for the most part my favorite songs are where Keith sings more he's just so good.
As if I needed a reminder of how good Keith's lyrics are.... I am reminded.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
Now I just need an ETID cover of Valley Queen
Let’s make it happen!
My favorite episode. Obviously.
This is so friggin amazing. I love it. They had seriously no idea they were covering such a heavy song, written by an absolute poet.
Really enjoyed seeing a cover of a metal song. The stark contrast between the two genres made this episode extra interesting. Would definitely love to see more episodes showing completely different genres.
I you haven't seen our episode with The Manx yet, you should give it a watch! They're a folk-metal band and we gave them a sleepy breakup tune.
Blind Covers this was dope so bummed I just now found you guys making this happen.
We’re glad you found us! Keep your eyes peeled, news about more stuff is coming soon!
you guys need to get the original band's reaction. I would be really interested to know what ETID thinks of this cover and the conversation between the two bands would be excellent. YES! I feel like they'd love it
That would be a dream, they rule. Feel free to tweet it at them!
Keith would definitely love this cover.
Continues to be the most underrated channel on UA-cam.
Aww, you're too kind! Thanks for watching!
Another fantastic show. I wasn't familiar with the band, but the vocals made me want to check out their original material. Streaming them on Spotify now...
Paul Schirf greatest live band you’ll ever see. Check out video of their boat shows. They do an annual show on a boat and it’s insane
Damn, I never thought one of my favorite ETID songs can become this beautiful experience w/ just the right tweeks. Props to you guys! (& gal.)
I wonder if ETID heard this yet. I bet they would appreciate the shit out of it.
Why am I just now finding this channel, this is great
You should of played the actual song back and had their silent reaction for the whole song after they played their version
Every Time I Die brought me here and this show/ep was thoroughly enjoyable. Only note is I would've loved to see their reaction throughout the whole original song.
Valley Queen appreciating the walking genius of Keith Buckley.
Speaks to Keith's lyricism that you wouldn't even necessarily associate this with any sort of aggressive music.
I fell down a rabbit hole and landed here and holy moses. This is a fantastic cover. Goosebumps.
I throughly enjoyed this being a huge ETID fan
Well, that reveal caught everyone, even me, off guard
as a ETID fan I should say, this is the BEST music related stuff I've seen this week, and maybe this month! awesome band and awesome version!!
Aw man, thank you!!
I loved this one, great work valley queen. Also, I think the host is my favorite host. Pretty sure.
😍😍😍😍
That honestly was crazy to hear. They straight up made that their song. Good musicians
I've been subscribed to this channel ever since I found that post on reddit. This show just keeps getting better!
Wow that was great. Has Keith/ETID seen this??
Not that I’ve heard, but feel free to tweet it at him!
One of the best covers so far, great job!
hey man! I've been subbed since your first vid and they just keep getting better, you're a fantastic host!
Thank you, you're too kind!
7:50 that drop hit.
I love ETID lyrics & this was a awesome cover. I smiled so hard when she said it seem like its spoken word lol
......wait til you hear it
Man I can't say it enough... I love this channel!
What a coincidence, we love you! Thanks for watching!
This cover is great! Big ETID fan, did not see that coming.
The most interesting thing about this cover is that it's somehow just as good when played at 1.25x and 1.5x speed.
Extremely well done!
It's interesting that the part close to the end kinda fell in to the same structure as the original. That's rad.
Gave me a big Blind Melon feel and made a connection in my brain about the similarity between Shannon and Keith's lyrical style. Crazy
Ooo, how would you say they're similar?
Wow! What an amazing cover
Another great video. Really enjoying these!
Isn't the singer of every time I die an english teacher or something? It would explain the poetic lyrics.
He majored in American literature. close guess
He was an English teacher yes.
He taught High School English for a bit.
chris Bryson he was and before that he was still in this band and the question is best band or best band?
His father is a professor of English at University I believe. Keith Buckley is also published now
This made my day!
This comment made MY *WEEK!*
11:45-11:49 A message from all metal fans to non metal fans
Where did you go? Haven't seen a new video in 3 months! I loved this show
We're coming back with new episodes early next year! We had to take some time off, but we have several episodes shot and we'all have more info soon. Thanks for watching!
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
singer (the entire video): this might be a singer/songwriter....it seems like a folk song.
ETID plays.
singer (listening): the entire time i thought it might be a metal song!
You gotta fake it ‘til you make it!
One of my favorite ETID songs. Actually don't mind this cover.
I was just headbanging to the original in the shower a few hours ago
The reaction is awesome.
that was awesome!
Such a brilliant idea :D new here and can't wait to see what else there is.
Welcome aboard!!
I really think ETID would love this cover, I hope they see it one day!
I would watch a show of you just interviewing people. Your questions are so off-color and interesting, but not in a vaguely creepy way like Eric Andre. Like, if Eric Andre is the crack cocaine of interviewers, you are the marijuana.
This is simultaneously the best and most esoteric compliment I've ever received.
These are cool. You guys should have someone cover a Defeater song.
Oooh that’s a great idea!! Which song would you give to someone to cover?
Blind Covers Dear Father is probably my favourite Defeater song. Or even No Savior.
Defeater would be so sick
It would be great if you could put the cover artists social media / bandcamp / soundcloud etc in the description.
Edit: Nevermind, I didnt finish the whole video, I see the annotations now!
Dude this is actually good
Dude, I AGREE
Awesome concept, channel and videos! The Manx are my broZ...shot some videos with the a couple weeks ago! ✌️ keep up the good work!
The Manx dudes are the sweetest bunch of goo-boys we know!
That was great
That was so sick! Thats coming from an etid fan
This is a very interesting twist to Wanderlust 😂😂😂
Interesting is a pretty good word for it!
Love this series! The final part of the episode should be a reaction to the music video, not just the song. It could be almost like the fine bros react series.
I can't speak for him, but I'm fairly certain that Keith Buckley would love your cover more than the original ETID version if he hasn't heard it yet!
This is amazing. I love Keith's unique ability to write a song with little to no repetition. Stumps the shit out of these guys. "uhh yeah that's the chorus, no this is! Wait! This is the chorus!"
Keith Buckley is a modern day poet
Where can I download/buy this song?
I want to know which songs they turned down.
Usually if a song isn't chosen, it goes back into the rotation to get chosen by someone else!
YOU NEED TO MAKE MORE VIDS LIKE THIS!
Can this song cover olz go on spotify haha
We're working on putting something out! Watch our social media for updates!
Sorry if I seem a bit rude, but any idea when the next episode will come out? I love this series so, so much.
New episodes out now, in case you missed them!
Love the cover! Though I can't hear the guys' backing vocal at all. Guessing it got mixed out for some reason? Oh well.
I'd love to hear a band cover some Dot Hacker! I'd be especially interested to hear what they'd do with Quotes.
Why is this not a TV show? Have you pitched any networks?
Where can we buy the Cover Song??!
Back us on patron! Our $5/episode patrons get to download a The covers each month!

What song or band did they mention as one of their "contexts?"
